BAGHDAD, Iraq - A car bomb in a town west of Baghdad killed three American soldiers and injured six in addition to several Iraqi civilians, the military said. The attack took place near a U.S. military checkpoint in Khaldiyah city, 70 miles west of Baghdad, witnesses said, speaking on condition of anonymity.
