Former Arkansas GOP Gov. Mike Huckabee is deploying his grass-roots activists and raising money for the campaigns of conservative candidates in states that are key to a 2012 presidential run. The effort is run by Huck PAC, the former governor’s political action committee, which has 6,000 members spread across all 50 states, 46 of which have volunteer state coordinators.

(Blacksburg) - South Carolina Lieutenant Governor Andre Bauer has been injured in an aircraft crash. The accident happened around 6:30 p.m. in the Cherokee County town of Blacksburg, near White Farm Road. The plane was registered to Bauer. Few details have been released, but News19 has learned the crash happened shortly after take-off. The aircraft crashed into a power line, and then caught on fire. Bauer was transported to Greenville Memorial Hospital with what are called non life-threatening injuries. (Columbia) May 6, 2003 - The traffic stop happened shortly before noon in the 1500 block of Assembly Street. Officer J.L. Vanhouten caught up with a vehicle he says raced through two red lights at Calhoun and Assembly and Assembly and Blanding. The officer says the driver, Lieutenant Governor Andre Bauer , had been traveling at speeds up to 60 miles an hour in a 35 mile an hour zone.
