Given Obama is our first Black President, which says so much about the fairness of the American people, I would like to start a petition drive that would spot President Obama a number of points in the upcoming 2012 election. In other words, as with many other positions and conditions in our society, President Obama deserves a handicap to make things "fair." My only question is: "How much of a handicap does everyone think is fair? 5 points, 2 much?

ISLAMABAD: The US has established contacts with Afghan Taliban leader Mullah Muhammad Omar to negotiate an end to the conflict in Afghanistan, a media report said on Tuesday. Abdul Haqiq, a former Afghan Taliban spokesman who used the alias Mohammad Hanif, played a key role in helping Washington reach out to Mullah Omar, The Express Tribune newspaper quoted a source as saying. Haqiq was arrested by US and Afghan intelligence agents in Afghanistan in June 2007. He was one of the high profile Afghan Taliban spokesmen along with Yousuf Ahmadi, appointed after chief spokesman Abdul Latif Hakimi was arrested in...

Speaking at a plant in North Carolina about the tough economic times, PBO claimed that "what drives me every day as I walk down to the Oval Office" is the need to find jobs and economic security for everyone. But Obama opened his speech by bragging that "I have a better plane" than when he visited the same plant three years ago as a presidential candidate. Later, in explaining that he had brought the Council on Jobs and Competitiveness with him to North Carolina, Obama boasted "I travel with a bigger entourage" than he did as a candidate. View video...

America is on the verge of abandoning its most reliable ally in the Middle East, thanks to Barack Hussein Obama. He began his betrayal with lip service to Israel’s concerns about defending itself from the relentless jihad that has been waged against it throughout the sixty-three years of its lifetime as a sovereign state: “For the Palestinians, efforts to delegitimize Israel will end in failure. Symbolic actions to isolate Israel at the United Nations in September won’t create an independent state. Palestinian leaders will not achieve peace or prosperity if Hamas insists on a path of terror and rejection. And...

The helicopter raid "was the longest 40 minutes of my life," Obama told CBS' "60 Minutes," with the possible exception of when his daughter Malia became sick with meningitis as an infant.

"We are regaining our footing," he said. The president spoke during a visit to a transmission plant in Indianapolis, even as the killing of Osama bin Laden continued to dominate headlines and much of the president's time. Sometimes a sympathetic and perceptive journalist paints a more devastating portrait of a public figure than even his most vitriolic detractors could. A prime example is Ryan Lizza's New Yorker article titled "The Consequentialist" and subtitled, "How the Arab Spring remade Obama's foreign policy." Lizza's article, characteristically well reported and well written, reads less like the story of an adult politician's evolving view of foreign issues and more like the story of the wildly oscillating opinions of a college student now in his junior year. As Lizza points out, Obama didn't think much about foreign policy during his years as...

There are so many ways to produce a birth certificate thanks to our printing technology. We all have our theories regarding how the fake birth certificates are printed. To produce a 1961 birth certificate from Hawaii isn't too complicated. Either make a new one with a working antique typewriter,or just take anyones birth certificate from that hospital in 1961,make a copy of it,then put it through the photo-shop process, rearrange the letters, and WALLA !!! THERE’S MORE TO IT THAN A SIMPLE BIRTH CERTIFICATE It’s a simple question. Why does Barack Obama appear to be so un-American to so many Americans? First of all, let’s not confuse “un-American” with anti-American here. Barack Obama is generally the former rather than the latter. Heightened interest in Donald Trump’s obsession with Obama’s non-birth certificate, and Jerome Corsi’s coming book, “Where’s the Birth Certificate?” is in large part, driven by a desire to understand why this president behaves the way he does. It’s simply part of the attempt to solve the elusive puzzle that is Barack Obama. Continuing questions...

Key U.S. Supreme Court justices signaled Tuesday they are inclined to give deference to the Environmental Protection Agency rather than the courts on the issue of major power companies' greenhouse-gas emissions. The justices' comments indicate a major climate-change case, American Electric Power Co. v. Connecticut, will be dismissed by the high court. "Congress set up the EPA to promulgate standards for emissions, and the relief you're seeking seems to me to set up a district judge, who does not have the resources, the expertise, as a kind of super EPA," Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg said Tuesday. The continued stalemate in Libya is not good news for Samantha Power widely seen as one of the architects of the Libyan intervention. Power, who works with the National Security Council, has been touted as the next secretary of State if Obama is re-elected but if Libya continues to be a stalemate it will not help her case... WASHINGTON – The historic $38 billion in budget cuts resulting from at-times hostile bargaining between Congress and the Obama White House were accomplished in large part by pruning money left over from previous years, using accounting sleight of hand and going after programs President Barack Obama had targeted anyway. Such moves permitted Obama to save favorite programs — Pell grants for poor college students, health research and "Race to the Top" aid for public schools, among others — from Republican knives, according to new details of the legislation released Tuesday morning. The latest Pew Research Center national poll released today underscores how slender a beachhead President Obama has established among whites more than two years into his presidency. In his 2008 election, Obama ran well only among two groups of whites -- young people and white women with at least a four year college education, two groups that are generally receptive to government activism. In the 2010 GOP landslide, those groups stuck with Democrats relatively more loyally than the rest of the white electorate, but the party's support tumbled even among them.
