What's the difference between these two QBs? Well, the obvious answer is one has hair extensions and one doesn't. One is married to a supermodel, and the other isn't. One has three Super Bowl rings and the other only two (for now). Those are all fine and dandy, but today's Jets-Patriots game showed the most important difference between Tom Brady and Ben Roethlisberger. When one of them is pressured, he throws the ball away or falls to the ground, while the other one moves around and makes things happen allowing his team to win. I don't know if it is...

I am still all fired up after watching that thrilling Steelers win against the Ravens. Troy, Woodley, Harrison, Farrior, etc. all came up big. But was there a gutsier, more warrior like player tonight than Ben Roethlisberger? His performance tonight should go down as one for the ages. I know Jack Lambert said that QBs should wear dresses. For the most part you have to agree with him. Yeah, you get a Michael Vick who has the wheels to run, you get a Brett Favre who will stand in there and take a hit to deliver the throw, but who...

One of Ben Roethlisberger's two bodyguards, who was with him at a bar in Milledgeville, Ga., last month after which a 20-year-old college student accused Roethlisberger of sexual assault, is in danger of losing his job as a Coraopolis, Pa., police officer, a source close to the Coraopolis local government told ESPN on Sunday. A majority vote of the Coraopolis City Council would be needed to dismiss Anthony Barravecchio, and according to the source, if a vote were taken today, it would be 8-0 for dismissing him from his position on the force. The source added that documents from the...

Wide receiver Hines Ward told NBC before the Pittsburgh Steelers' overtime loss Sunday night in Baltimore that opinion was divided among Steelers players about whether quarterback Ben Roethlisberger should have been playing in the game. Roethlisberger sat out the game, a week after suffering a concussion during a defeat to the Kansas City Chiefs. An independent neurologist reportedly recommended that Roethlisberger not play against the Ravens. Ward told NBC, according to a written transcript provided by the network: "This game is almost like a playoff game. It's almost a must-win. I could see some players or teammates questioning like, 'It's...

Lots of chatter on Twitter tonight about the accusations of sexual assault against Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, and the tepid reaction of the sports media, starting with ESPN. Again, there's no official criminal complaint yet, and that differentiates it from many other recent controversies. Several prominent athletes don't seem to care much about that distinction, however. They see racism. This was Amare Stoudemire's feed (@Amareisreal): I don't care if they showed it a few times,Plaxico was all over the news and he shot his own self, and I here about big ben on twitter, Wow man ben rosinlberlger or how...

The day after Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger crashed his motorcycle, while he was still recovering from surgery to repair his fractured face, The Cincinnati Post scolded the Ohio native for not wearing a helmet. "Riders should wear helmets," the paper proclaimed, "and if they're not going to, perhaps the government should step in and make them." The Post pined for the days when "all states required helmets," bemoaning the fact that 30 states now let adult motorcyclists decide for themselves what, if anything, to wear on their heads. The laws were changed, the editorial explained, because of "pressure from...
