I wish to NOTIFY you that the bona-fides of four Republican Candidates to be President is hereby DISPUTED. It is claimed that the following persons do NOT meet the United States Constitutional requirement that one be a "Natural-Born Citizen" in order to be President under Article II, Sec. 1. I am disputing the bona-fides of: Marco Rubio - NOT an NBC. He was born in the U.S., however his parents were un-naturalized "permanent resident" Cuban citizens when he was born. Ted Cruz - NOT an NBC. He was born in Canada to a Cuban father and American mother who may...

Donald Trump on Monday accused Hillary Clinton of being the first to spread the theory that President Barack Obama is a Muslim who was not born in the United States. “That’s where it began,” Trump said Monday on Fox News. “Look at what she said about President Obama in 2008, believe me what I said is nothing. Take a look at what Hillary said in 2008 when she was running against him.”

Aside from being a loud egomaniacal celebrity showman, there are a number of reasons why Donald Trump is leading his GOP rivals with the support of a far-right segment of the Republican Party aka the Trumpsters. Let's begin with the fact that most Trumpsters are birthers and STILL believe that President Obama is a Muslim born in Kenya. I kid you not. Public Policy Polling ("PPP") just released the results of their new poll showing that 61 percent of Trump's supporters still don’t believe President Obama was born in America and 62 percent think he is a secret Muslim who...

Just when it appeared that public interest was fading, celebrity developer Donald Trump has revived the theory that [B. Hussein Obama] was born overseas... Where did this idea come from? Who started it? And is there a grain of truth there? The answer lies in Democratic, not Republican politics, and in the bitter, exhausting spring of 2008. At the time, the Democratic presidential primary was slipping away from Hillary Clinton and some of her most passionate supporters grasped for something, anything that would deal a final reversal to Barack Obama. .....Clinton supporters circulated an anonymous email questioning Obama’s citizenship. “Barack...

Washington (CNN)—A new CNN/ORC poll finds that although misperceptions about Barack Obama's religious beliefs and background persist, they are not as widespread as some recent polling has suggested. Obama was born in Hawaii and is a Christian. Overall, when asked "where was Obama born, as far as you know?" 80% of adults say they believe Obama was born in the United States, while 20% said that he was born outside the country. And just 9% of those who think he was born elsewhere believe there is solid evidence of that; the other 11% say it is just their suspicion.Misperceptions about...

On Sunday, ABC's George Stephanopoulos, an excellent interviewer, tried to break through the Trump persona and get some answers on something - anything! Stephanopoulos chose the sole plan listed under "Positions" on the official Trump website. It is Trump's plan for making Mexico pay for a wall on our southern border, deporting "criminal aliens" from the United States, and ending "birthright citizenship" among other complex, controversial and expensive programs. Stephanopoulos attempted to find out how Trump would carry out his plan. Specifically. Did I say it was like wrestling an eel? It is more like punching a pillow. "You have...

There's a reason why Donald Trump is stirring up the Republican race. The Republican Party has become a resistance movement, and Trump is leading the resistance. What it's resisting is the rise of the New America. That's the coalition of groups that were historically marginalized: immigrants, racial and religious minorities, gays, working women, single mothers, young people and "unchurched" Americans with no religious affiliation. It's a coalition united by a commitment to diversity and inclusion. And deeply opposed to symbols of exclusion like the Confederate flag, hostility to immigrants and homophobia. NEW YORK – Newly unearthed information about Hawaii's procedure for numbering birth records at the time Barack Obama was born casts further doubt on the authenticity of the short-form and long-form birth certificates published online with the president's authority. Details about the registration procedure are significant, because some analysts have wondered how Obama could have been issued a registration number that is higher than the numbers of the published birth certificates of Susan and Gretchen Nordyke, which were registered three days later than the president's. But a 1955 article by Charles Bennett, Hawaii's registrar general in 1961, and George Tokuyama,...

The Constitution requires that for you to be eligible to be president, both of your parents must be naturally born citizens. You do not meet that qualification, if I am wrong please straiten me out. If you get the nomination I promise you the democrats will do what the republicans are too scared to do. Dear Ted I think you are awesome but we all need to know the answer to this.

WEST DES MOINES, Iowa – Billionaire Donald Trump, the most prominent “birther” to question Barack Obama’s eligibility to serve as president, asserted Friday that Sen. Ted Cruz must clear up legal doubts about his own eligibility due to his birth outside the United States. “It’s a problem. It could be a difficult problem, but he admits that he was born in Canada,” Trump told reporters in Iowa on the eve of the first major gathering of 2016 presidential hopefuls. “He’s a friend of mine. I have great respect for him. But …certainly it’s a stumbling block and he’s going to...

Attorney Orly Taitz has continued to pursue all avenues to bring to light Barack Hussein Obama’s fraudulent IDs and history. While she has sought to have several cases involving Obama’s Social Security number, birth certificate and selective service form reviewed by courts, they have dismissed her attempts. Now, in light of recent reports that attorney and wife of actor George Clooney, Amal Almuddin Clooney, was threatened with arrest by Egyptian officials after she identified flaws in Egypt’s judicial system, Taitz has written to petition the London-based British-Lebanese lawyer to investigate Obama’s fraudulent IDs. “Amal is a human right attorney, known...

A clear front-runner for the GOP presidential candidate doesn’t exist right now, but Sen. Ted Cruz’s name is thrown into almost any discussion about who might fill the slot. A recent CNN-Orc International poll found Mitt Romney, who says he’s not going to run, at the top of 2016 candidates, with 20 percent of the responders pointing to him as their preferred candidate. The rest of the field was packed pretty closely, with activist Ben Carson at 10 percent, followed by stair steps down – Jeb Bush, 9 percent; Chris Christie, 8 percent; and Mike Huckabee with 7 percent. Cruz...

Since 2008, the Democratic Party has increasingly become the home of minorities, while the Republican Party draws its support from whites. One of my fondest memories was spending four days in February 1977 as a staffer sitting on the Senate floor, mostly wedged between Gaylord Nelson and Russell Long as the Senate debated a resolution to reform its committee system. They were good friends, lovely people, and great storytellers, and I mostly sat there taking their conversation in, occasionally earning my pay by letting them know what a particular provision of the resolution did or what an amendment would do. At...

Largely lost in the hubbub over former Defense Secretary Leon Panetta’s new book Worthy Fights is one intriguing revelation. As reported in the New York Times, the accusations that Barack Obama was not what he appeared to be, perhaps not even a natural-born citizen, caused him to become tentative on the national stage. “Those challenges have encouraged the president’s caution and defensiveness, which in turn has emboldened further challenges,” Mr. Panetta wrote. As the originator of one of those challenges, namely that terrorist emeritus Bill Ayers helped Obama with his 1995 memoir Dreams from My Father, I can confirm the...
