A man tossed his 18-month-old niece out of a moving car, then led police on a high speed chase that ended with him wrestling with officers, according to reports. The child escaped injury during the incident involving Curtis Raymond Morris Johnson, 21, of Delray Beach. On Friday, his left eye swollen and shut, Johnson heard Palm Beach Circuit Judge Ted S. Booras order him held in lieu of $50,000 bail on charges of child abuse, aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer, fleeing and traffic offenses.
