A patrolling British Navy destroyer stops four Muslims in a row boat, rowing towards Brighton... The captain gets on the loud hailer and shouts "Ahoy, small craft, where are you heading?"  One of the Muslims stands up and shouts,  "We're invading England!"  The crew of the destroyer all start laughing and when the captain finally gains his composure, he gets back on the loud hailer and says "Just the four of you?"  The Muslim stands up again and shouts, "No, we're the last four- the rest are already there!" h/t Kirby

(Associated Posers) – Pyongyang, North Korea - Recently Jet Blue began a raffle that would award some 1,006 round trip international tickets to anywhere they fly to people who's candidate loses the Presidential election. The old saw about leaving the country if your guy loses, will come true for some lucky people. North Korea's government has expressed official dismay that Barack Obama could lose re-election in November, as it considers Mitt Romney to be a dangerous extremist. Today though, North Korea has taken it one step farther. The North Korean official news service KCNA has announced that it will offer...
  • FOREVER SIX: The Traits of a Narcissist

"A person who gives too much importance to himself, to the extent that he does not think about the feelings and sentiments of other people is said to be a narcissist. People who are narcissists consider themselves to be perfectionists who can never do anything wrong. They are governed by their false ego which requires ample amounts of admiration and praise to survive. It is said that narcissists live in a world of their own where they can think only about their problems and issues regarding power, prestige and personal adequacy. This makes them selfish individuals who do not have...

Certain companies have something that competitors just cannot replicate. It may be crucial patents that protect a particular device, drug or process. It may be a franchise, such as the ownership of a port or airport close to a big city, or it may be the kind of scale and brand that no rival can attempt to match, such as Disney (DIS) or Coca-Cola (KO). These qualities, that the legendary investor Warren Buffett termed "economic moats", are the defences which allow a business fortress to defend itself, and should be reflected in higher than usual operating margins over an extended...

Missouri federal district Judge Carol Jackson ruled that forcing Catholics to pay for contraception and abortion services mandated under Obamacare does not violate their right to freely practice their religion. “The plaintiffs argue that their religious freedom is infringed by a government law requiring them to finance health services they view as repugnant to their beliefs,” Jackson wrote in her decision. “However, none of these plaintiffs is required to undergo an abortion or to make use of the covered contraception benefits. Consequently, they remain totally free to adhere to their religious beliefs insofar as the effects are confined to themselves.”...

POSTED BY ANN BARNHARDT - MARCH 6, AD 2011 9:42 PM MST ...In my opinion, the "best-case scenario" would be continued inflation at roughly the pace we are experiencing now until Obama is removed from office. I am of the considered opinion that there is absolutely ZERO chance for any stabilization or recovery so long as the Obama regime holds power. ZERO. Why would there be? The Obama regime is actively and consciously trying to destroy the United States and its economy. Do you think these people are going to wake up one morning, come to Jesus, and suddenly...
  • Only Twice Since 1960 has the Unemployment Rate Dropped This Fast in a Two-Month Span

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, only two times, since 1960, has the unemployment dropped by 5 percentage points in a two month span. The first time this happened was in 1984 under President Ronald Reagan (April & May, 1984). The rate went from 7.7 to 7.2. The total jobs created during this 2 month span was 687k. The GDP for the most recent quarter was a whopping 8%. The only other time (in over 50 years, again) is occurring right now under President Obama (Aug & Sep, 2012). The rate went from 8.3 to 7.8, with a two-month...

I can't believe this video got only 94,000 views. It is directly on point and the reason we are losing this country. Romney runs against two opponents, the WH and the media. Look no further than the main stream media as the cause of this country's demise. We must destroy the main stream media or someone needs to find a way to sue them out of existence or back to journalism. The Q & A at the end of the video is absolutely great!! Perhaps the reason it didn't get near the views it should have is because of our...

His father, Carlos Aissami, is the head of the Venezuelan branch of the Iraqi Baath political party. On Thursday, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officials announced that Sandra Rodriguez Miramontes, 19, has been free on bond since September 21. She reportedly left her 2-year-old nephew trapped in her car for eight hours, resulting in the child's death. Miramontes has been charged with child abuse resulting in death. She was arrested on August 5, after admitting to police that she left the boy, Gabriel Torres, outside the Precious Moments Daycare in Albuquerque, New Mexico, where she worked. Despite her illegal status, she was released on only a $500 bond from the Metropolitan Detention Center, where she had been...

Here's how it would have been explained: UN Ambassador Susan Rice: 9-11 Attack Was Spontaneous Susan Rice, the U.S. ambassador to the UN, said the attacks that killed 3000 Americans last Tuesday appears to be spontaneous demonstrations which were taken over by extremists. “We do not have information at present that leads us to conclude that this was premeditated or preplanned,” Rice said on “Face the Nation” Sunday. “I think it’s clear there were extremist elements that joined and escalated the violence. Whether they were al Qaeda affiliates, whether they were US-based extremists or al Qaeda itself, I think is...

Pennsylvania state Representative Babette Josephs (D-Philadelphia) declined to lead attendees of a House State Government Committee meeting in a pledge of allegiance. Although the pledge has normally been considered a non-controversial ritual for such meetings, Josephs found it to be highly objectionable. “Where do I begin to enumerate the improprieties of injecting these words into our process,” Josephs said. “Well, first off, this is a state legislature, not a federal legislature. Why should my allegiance, or lack thereof, to the nation be an issue? What relevance does it have to the State of Pennsylvania?” “Second, the pledge mentions God,” Josephs...

The survey of households uncovered an additional 873,000 jobs last month, 187,000 of which were government workers. Likely, this was a BAD sample where they happened to call more people who had a job than didn't. It should have been thrown out, of course, and a revised sample done. [This reminds me of the miraculous appearance of boxes of ballots during a close election]. Here is a chart of the household survey and the ADP survey of businesses (Non farm payrolls). Hmm. The household survey is definitely noisier than the NFP survey. But the spike in the household survey of...

First Lady Michelle Obama encouraged voters to reelect her husband “so he can continue to bypass congressional obstruction and keep America on the path to true social justice.” Michelle described her husband’s frustrations with “a Congress that has never been willing to help move the country forward,” but praised his willingness “to go outside the traditional limits on presidential power to plow new ground on how this nation will be ruled in the future.” “So far, I think that Barack has done a phenomenal job working around Congress,” Michelle boasted. “He’s issued, I think, about 900 Executive Orders in less...
  • Obama Falls For His Own Spin

Spin is nothing new in politics and sometimes it reaches the level of outright lying. When recently asked about campaign ads being "misleading" and "just not true," President Barack Obama admitted that "somebody could dispute how we are presenting things." No surprise there but what is surprising and exceedingly dangerous for Team Obama, is that they have started to believe their own presentations. Even before the general election campaign began, the president's main strategy was to define his presumptive opponent as an out-of-touch, rich guy from Massachusetts who didn't earn his fortune. That was somewhat effective in firing up disappointed...

    one man's opinion...
Follow me on this, please. I've actually thought there were two winners at the debate: Mitt Romney, and Hillary Clinton. Mitt, for the obvious reasons, and Hillary, because I've believed ever since 2008 that she was going to run again in 2016. If Obama wins, IMHO, what he will do to the country the next four years will make it impossible for any Democrat to win the WH. So, an Obama loss is a very good thing for the Clintons.
