I cannot wait for Ameritopia to hit. Mark Levin is very articulate when he talks about the dangers we face as free citizens of this country. These are the kinds of comments which are timeless, as the majority of human history is not one of liberty, it's one of administrative states, "the divine right of kings", and even outright brutal bloody tyrannies. The tyranny of utopian schemes - Mark Levin

Hat tip to Adobe expert and author Mara Zebest for inquiring about the Chris Matthews ad. The ad was also mentioned on Rush Limbaugh's radio show today. This is not the first time Chris Matthews suggested Obama was born overseas. It was in 2007 that Chris Matthews reported on the air that Obama was a Muslim and born in Indonesia. It's also not the first mainstream media outlet to scrub information about Obama. Fox's Bill O'Reilly scrubbed a segment about Obama's social security number.

Q: Doctor, I've heard that cardiovascular exercise can prolong life. Is this true? A: Heart only good for so many beats, and that it... Don't waste on exercise. Everything wear out eventually. Speed up heart not make live longer; that like say you can extend life of car by driving faster. Want live longer? Take nap. Q: Should I cut down on meat and eat more fruits and vegetables? A: You must grasp logistical efficiencies. What does cow eat? Hay and corn. What are these? Vegetables. So, steak nothing more than efficient mechanism of delivering vegetables to system. Need grain?...

The Western Conservative Political Action Conference has always been a smaller sibling to the annual Washington, D.C., CPAC. It’s gained some strength this year with the addition of speakers like Gov. Tim Pawlenty (R-Minn.) and California gubernatorial candidate Meg Whitman. But it’s also attracted some notable “birthers.”

The real estate market continues to go bust as I had predicted in my first major article on the subject in December of 2005. As it continues to rapidly barrel south, don’t tell the Bush Administration, the Federal Reserve, International Bankers, Mortgage Bankers, Mortgage Brokers, Realtors, home builders or even home sellers. Let’s keep it our little secret. Still, none of them want to hear anything about it. They are, the majority of them, extremely myopic to the truth and material facts of what is really going on in the American economy. SEC regulators should take note if they are...

Much of the business of Presidents of the United States these days involves special, symbolic support and caring for causes, the injured, and the grieving. On September 11, 2006, the fifth anniversary of the 9/11 tragedy, President Bush traveled from “Ground Zero” in New York City, to an empty field near Shanksville, Pa., and onward to the pentagon. At each site of loss and suffering, the president served largely a symbolic yet very meaningful role. Three days after the terror and destruction of 9/11, on September 14, 2001, the President of the United States traveled to New York City to...

Congress has appropriated $251bn for military operations, and the Congressional budget office has now estimated that under one plausible scenario the Iraq war will cost over $230bn more in the next 10 years. According to Nobel prize winner Mr Stiglitz and Harvard budget expert Ms Bilmes, there are substantial future costs not included in the Congressional calculations. For instance, the latest Pentagon figures show that more than 16,000 military personnel have been wounded in Iraq. Due to improvements in body armour, there has been an unusually high number of soldiers who have survived major wounds such as brain damage, spinal...
