Republican challenger Renee Ellmers led seven-term incumbent Democrat Bob Etheridge by 1,489 votes, slightly less than 1 percent of all ballots cast, when vote totals were certified Friday. Bob Etheridge’s attack on two college students attempting to interview him on whether he fully supports Obama’s agenda. Even though it was Etheridge who was aggressive toward the students, hitting their camera and grabbing one of the interviewers by the wrist and by the neck, the headline says it is Etheridge who is being “attacked!” I guess it is clear where their sympathies lie.
