Bill O’Reilly spoke to economist Ben Stein about a potential Mitt Romney presidency, as well as what Stein thinks of President Barack Obama. Going beyond wanting Romney to win, Stein said Obama isn’t particularly smart. Smarter than “the average bear,” but not of the likes of President Richard Nixon. Stein began by speaking about he riots in Greece, warning those who think it can’t happen in America. Young people without jobs who are angry, and have nothing better to do, may riot, he said. It’s “fun for them. They can be provoked into doing it at a drop of a...

Filmmaker Alexandra Pelosi, Nancy's daughter, has unleashed a firestorm of social controversy by interviewing some welfare recipients who told her on camera that they believe they're entitled to "Obama money." That is, welfare checks. A number of those that Ms. Pelosi spotlighted are young men who are not even looking for work. They have plenty of excuses for that. But, bottom line, they want money handed to them and stuff you if you don't like it. Also, some of these men have multiple children by multiple "baby mamas." Again, their posture is "blank you" if you don't approve. That attitude...

Fox News’s Greg Gutfeld tackled the often vexing world of prime time on Tuesday when he tried to fill some big shoes hosting Fox News’s top-ranked show The O’Reilly Factor. It was an equal-parts bold and odd choice, putting the network’s oft-times unpredictable, distinctly snarky and libertarian-minded funnyman as replacement host of the Fox News flagship program. But would Gutfeld measure as O’Reilly’s FNC tent-pole? Gutfeld handled the reins of hosting The Factor with aplomb, putting his quick-hit comedic commentary aside just enough to fit in on O’Reilly’s self-described “traditionalist” program. At several points during last night’s show, the Red...

‘Marxist Revolution’: Beck Shows O’Reilly How Organized Effort Guides World-Wide ‘Occupy’ Protests

I'm a regular viewer of The Factor and over the past few months, I've heard O'Reilly state in so many words, and on more than one occasion, that Herman Cain is not going to be the GOP nominee. Interestingly, he doesn't say specifically why he believes this. (Can anyone hazard a guess?) He's even got a running bet with Dick Morris regarding this issue. Considering the results of recent polls, I think Mr. O may be in for a shock this coming Spring.

Fox News presenter Bill O'Reilly has claimed that he has more power than anyone but Barack Obama. The news anchor made the extraordinary declaration while promoting his new book about the Lincoln assasination. He told Newsweek interviewer Peter Boyer: 'I have more power than anybody other than the president, in the sense that I can get things changed, quickly.'

When Bill O’Reilly went to Fox News looking for work in 1996, Roger Ailes, chief of the startup cable network, asked him whether he could avoid getting into fistfights in the hallway. O’Reilly was known in the business as a born broadcaster but one whose career had been defined by pique. As an anchor at a Boston station, he’d once grabbed a disagreeable management consultant by the necktie and dragged him across the newsroom. At Fox, O’Reilly channeled his rage into the self-designated role of national sentry, with the nightly mission, as he puts it, of “protecting the people” against...

Summer visitors to Lake Powell will experience water levels last seen ten years ago, according to a new report by the Bureau of Reclamation. The report predicts water levels to be 3,665 feet above sea level by mid-August, a level not seen since 2001. In the last two months, the nation’s second largest man-made lake has added 28 feet of water elevation with half of the snowpack still left to melt. This excess snowmelt is creating more areas to explore at Lake Powell, America’s favorite houseboating destination. ... Lake Powell’s rising water level is a result of the long and...

O’Reilly seemed to rush through the interview, and in his characteristic style, didn’t give Cain much time to elaborate on his answers, but the former businessman and radio host seemed to hold his own, spitting out answers when possible, and attempting at least twice to push back against O’Reilly’s interview demeanor, refusing to be bullied, though at times he seemed to be having trouble keeping up with O’Reilly’s fast paced manner. O’Reilly began with a direct question, asking Cain if there was “one overriding reason” for him to be President? Cain replied, ” It’s time to have a problem solver...

It was interesting to watch Bill O’Reilly begin to turn hostile toward Franklin Graham regarding the gospel of Jesus Christ. He pressed Graham to answer questions regarding the fate of people who live “good” lives but die without accepting Christ as their savior. Franklin seemed to handle the question with much more back-bone than his father Billy Graham. (See Larry King interview when King pressed on the same question. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ozjLaoPrcQ0&NR=1 The Rev, Franklin answered the question by saying that Jesus said “I am the way, the truth and the life; no one comes to the Father but by me”. Video: FOX News' Bill O'Reilly failed to report on Obama's selective service card as was advertised on Fox News but he did touch on some of the other hidden Obama records. O'Reilly finally admitted after nearly 3 years of lying that Obama has not released a birth certificate. He also said his investigation found Obama was born at a hospital in Hawaii but fails to provide any evidence to back up his theory. He then brings up Michelle Obama's "court ordered inactive" law license but fails to mention it is court ordered inactive. I guess the spin doesn't stop there!?...

O'Reilly went over his talking points. He said he called the state of Hawaii and he says they do have a legitimate birth certificate for Obama. O'Reilly is still perpetuating the myth that Hawaii has confirmed the Internet Hawaiian COLB is genuine. BOR: Donald Trump is going to be proven wrong Combs: they are a bunch of nuts who hate Obama....

WHAT WILL HE SAY NOW? Last week in an on-air debate with Donald Trump, Bill O’Reilly based his entire case for Obama’s supposed Hawaii birth on newspaper birth announcements. With new information emerging now, O’Reilly may be interested to learn that the announcement images that were posted online cannot be from the microfilms we were told they were from. This article documents that the stories we were told were a well-orchestrated lie, which raises serious questions about the microfilms O’Reilly says he has found, since those lies back in 2008 would not have been necessary if the microfilms O’Reilly...

This time next year, we could have the two presidential candidates in play. Only God knows who the Republicans will decide upon, but President Obama is a lock on the Democratic side. The big issues that will most likely decide the election of 2012 are the economy and leadership. And now there's new data on the leadership front. According to a Gallup poll released this week, Obama has fallen more than 20 points in the leadership category in less than two years. Right now, 52 percent of Americans believe he is a strong and decisive leader, while 47 percent say...

Bill O’Reilly said Monday night that Sarah Palin only has herself to blame for dropping approval ratings. The Fox News host who has butted heads recently with Palin said the former governor has avoided direct engagement with the media, hurting her image. “Her favorability among Republicans and independents has dropped four [percentage] points in a month,” O’Reilly said during a segment of his television show. “The reason I think it’s dropping is because she is not engaging directly.” O’Reilly then pointed directly to a recent interview he had conducted with Palin in which she accused him of interrupting her after...

The opposition to military action in Libya is fascinating. President Obama is taking incoming fire from both the left and the right as various agendas collide against neutralizing Moammar Gadhafi. The dissent is all over the place, so let's try to simplify the situation. We begin with a quote from Edmund Burke: "The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing." That's true. We have seen it time and again throughout history. When evil is not confronted, it can win, often with devastating results. There is no question that Gadhafi was on the...

On The Factor this evening, host Bill O’Reilly brought on a panel to discuss Fox News contributor Sarah Palin’s falling poll numbers. The Polling Company founder and president Kellyanne Conway suggested Palin’s increased visibility and celebrity status may be partially to blame for the falling numbers. In a word: Overexposure. Fox News contributor Tammy Bruce, meanwhile, was more interested in how those poll numbers might change once Palin is given an “unfiltered” platform for espousing her political beliefs – insinuating, of course, that Americans have yet to truly hear Palin’s opinions or her take on political issues.

This evening, Bill O’Reilly took a shot at Governor Palin on his show regarding the last interview he conducted with her. If you recall, the governor rightly put an end to O’Reilly’s annoying habit of interruption, by reminding him that he was indeed interrupting her. As you can imagine, Bill’s ego suffered a bit of a bruising from the governor’s action. On tonight’s episode of The O’Reilly Factor, Bill spoke with Chis Wallace to make himself feel better about it all. He compared his behavior as a media personality, with that of Chris Wallace, stating that it is mandatory for...

In front of an Alaskan backdrop of mountains and a lake, Sarah Palin had a busy, busy night on television Friday. She found time to tweak a fellow Republican, dismiss the president, and scold a top rated Fox News talk show host. Palin opened by questioning New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie's toughness and attacking President Barack Obama for naivete. After that, she preached about cutting various government programs to Bill O'Reilly before telling him not to interrupt her. All in a night's work. On America's Nightly Scoreboard, host David Asman informed Palin that Christie had told Fox Business News that...

Bill O’Reilly continues his assault on those who believe the President of the US should be constitutionally eligible. In his show last Wednesday he slandered those who want Obama to provide real proof he was born in the US by aligning them with Truthers, the far right, and Ron Paul and John Birchers. I guess I’m pretty representative of most who want the matter settled. I’m none of those things. O’Reilly had Karl Rove and together they demonstrated a remarkable degree of ignorance on the issue and a remarkable degree of bigotry towards fellow Americans. O’Reilly started the show by...

O'Reilly began a segment tonight by saying that he did not believe the recent poll that showed that 51% of likely GOP primary voters didn't believe that Obama was born in HI. He offered up a different poll showing that 58% of Americans believed Obama was born in HI. Rove came on and after admitting that Obama could end the birth certificate controversy immediately by simply releasing his birth records, Rove said the controversy benefited Obama. Then both O'Reilly and Rove equated "birthers" with "truthers" and Ron Paul supporters and said they were on the Tea Party and GOP fringe....

...And The Rest Of Us Who Still Have Questions Are…? Here's The Right Side Of It by John L. WorkBill O'Reilly With a hat tip to 630KHOW’s Peter Boyles, here’s a rather astounding YouTube video clip from last night’s Fox News O’Reilly Factor, featuring Juan Williams and Mary Katharine Ham as guests. The issue at hand was Barack Obama’s Constitutional eligibility to hold office – or rather more specifically, his citizenship and religion. With his usual condescension, overbearing rhetoric, de-facto name-calling, interruptive behavior and obstinate ignorance of some glaring veracity problems in the Obama life-narrative, O’Reilly has become a sort of...

Two years into the Obama presidency, the issue of where he was born and what religion he follows somehow continues to be an issue for many on the far right, and now House Speaker John Boehner is coming under fire for telling NBC's David Gregory that it's " not my job " to dispel those rumors. Did anyone see Laura stand up to the ever befuddled BOR last night?

Sarah Palin never apologizes for what some attribute to her as weaknesses. Krauthammer recently criticized her as not looking very presidential because of her shows and books. But she makes it clear that she brings a different game than what some are accustomed to, and win or lose that’s what she’s going to stick with. She’s going rogue! It’s a great interview all the way through. Enjoy! Link

Bill O’Reilly recently talked with frequent Fox News guest Charles Krauthammer to handicap potential GOP candidates’ chances in the 2012 presidential election. Krauthammer called Mitt Romney the front-runner” and said Mike Huckabee has established himself as a “major player”…but his most dissected comments will probably be his remarks on one Sarah Palin. Krauthammer compared Palin’s problem to Hillary Clinton’s in the late 1990s – strong support from her core base, virulent opposition from most others. O’Reilly asked if the level of opposition to Palin is the media’s fault, and while Krauthammer said they’ve “contributed enormously” and that “the animus to...

Media: Public broadcasting strikes a blow for censorship by firing a nationally known commentator for suggesting a connection between Islamofascism and terrorism. Sorry, there is one, and it makes us nervous too. Perhaps we should now call NPR, public broadcasting's answer to Air America, National Politically Correct Radio, as the Weekly Standard's William Kristol has suggested. The firing of resident pundit Juan Williams demonstrates that free and open debate is not NPR's thing, despite its publicly funded mission statement that all voices should be heard. Appearing on Fox's "O'Reilly Factor" Monday night, Williams did not disagree with host Bill O'Reilly's...

I hope you all are watching BOR (hard as this often is). He gave 4 reasons what's happened to Juan Williams will be good for him. Then, BOR said he has Williams' back. Williams then got a look in his eye and said he'd not realized but that BOR "is a stand up guy."

While promoting her movie 'The Switch' earlier this week, Jennifer Aniston told reporters that women don't need men to start a family or be good mothers. When Bill O'Reilly caught wind of her statement, he debated the topic of single motherhood on 'The O'Reilly Factor' and called out the 41-year-old actress. "She's throwing a message out to 12-year-olds and 13-year-olds that, 'Hey you don't need a guy. You don't need a dad.' That is destructive to our society," O'Reilly railed. FOX News contributor Margaret Hoover and FOX News anchor Gretchen Carlson debated the topic with O'Reilly, admitting young teens wouldn't...

In a new biography on sale Tuesday, Rush Limbaugh calls fellow conservative talk show host Bill O’Reilly a “Ted Baxter” — after the fictional character on the “The Mary Tyler Moore Show” who was portrayed as a vain, shallow, buffoonish TV newsman. “Sorry but somebody’s gotta say it,” Limbaugh is quoted as saying in Rush Limbaugh: An Army of One by Zev Chafets. At press time, O’Reilly had yet to respond to the comment.

Here are some selected quotes from Griswold v. Connecticut, 381 U.S. 479 (1965). If you don't know, the Griswold decision was the forerunner of Roe v. Wade. Griswold was based upon the Supreme Court's determination that under the Bill of Rights and the 9th Amendment and the 14th Amendment that there are certain Liberties, not otherwise mentioned in the Constitution that the State (including the Federal Government) cannot infringe. The following quotes are taken from that case and I believe make the argument that under the 9th Amendment the Federal Government cannot force an individual to purchase Health Insurance and...

When asked about the worst aspect of ObamaCare, Governor Palin responded: “We’ve already talked about federal unfunded mandates that will bury our states that have budgetary problems and businesses that have budgetary problems and now will be forced to purchase something we don’t want or don’t need, and government will be telling us to do it anyway. This of course takes away so many of our choices and puts government between our doctors and our patients.”

Bill O'Reilly's Indie Instincts In a time of political turmoil, can the Fox News commentator be seen as a moderate? By Matea Gold March 21, 2010 In a no-frills studio in Fox News' Manhattan headquarters, Bill O'Reilly was wrangling with a guest, as usual. This time it wasn't a liberal foe but conservative strategist Dick Morris, who was hammering the Justice Department for hiring a group of lawyers -- dubbed the "Al Qaeda Seven" by the right-wing advocacy group Keep America Safe -- that had represented terrorism suspects in private practice. But O'Reilly didn't buy Morris' argument that the lawyers'...

For the first time that I can remember, there were no politically charged comments at the Academy Awards ceremony last Sunday. And I was ready. We had left-wing bomb throwers like George Clooney, Sean Penn, Barbra Streisand and co-host Alec Baldwin all lined up in the "let it fly" zone. But the show turned out to be the silence of the lambs. What's going on? The answer to that question is money, pure and simple. The rise of the machines has dislocated entertainment all over the country. Now you can program your life on your computer and endlessly amuse yourself...

DES MOINES – The outcome of a court case involving nude dancing at a western Iowa strip club may have dropped a new issue into state lawmakers’ laps this session. The Iowa Court of Appeals this month dismissed the state’s request to review a district judge’s 2008 decision that the state’s public indecent exposure law was not violated when a 17-year-old girl stripped on stage at a Hamburg club in Fremont County. According to court documents, Clarence Gene Judy, then-owner of Shotgun Geniez, was charged with three counts of public indecent exposure for “permitting a minor to dance fully nude”...

So Bill O’Reilly’s not willing to be the “sane Ross Perot” that Evan Bayh believes could take the White House. He ruled out a run in 2012 and had some advice for Sarah Palin on GMA today… she needs to go to "political college." He also took on both parties for how they're handling today’s health care summit, "they need to drop the politics...that's not gonna happen."

Is anyone watching O'Reilly tonight?
