Hillary Clinton kicked $125,000 in donations from her family foundation to a hospital after receiving treatment for a blood clot in 2013, the Washington Free Beacon has discovered. Clinton was discharged from New York Presbyterian Hospital in January 2013 after being treated for a blood clot. Doctors discovered the clot during follow-up treatment for a concussion she sustained weeks earlier after she passed out from dehydration, causing her to fall and hit her head.

Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson, a civil rights activist, founder and president of BOND (The Brotherhood Organization for a New Destiny), and author of “Scam: How the Black Leadership Exploits Black America,” in an interview with WND, slammed the teaching of white privilege in public schools as destructive to both African-American students and everyone else. Peterson stated: “These classes will make another generation of blacks feel like victims and have them believing that whites owe them. It will also continue to divide the races for years to come because whites and other non-blacks know that it’s not fair to favor one...

Here is one question that probably won't cross the minds of Sasha Cohen, Irina Slutskaya and the other Olympic women figure skaters today, even if they fall: Why is ice slippery? The explanation once commonly dispensed in textbooks turns out to be wrong. And slipperiness is just one of the unanswered puzzles about ice. Besides the everyday ice that you slip on, there are about a dozen other forms, some of which experts suspect exist in the hot interior of Earth or on the surface of Pluto. [snip] Ice, said Robert M. Rosenberg, an emeritus professor of chemistry at Lawrence...

When it comes to Christmas, political correctness apparently only lasts about a half-hour in Georgia Gov. Sonny Perdue's office. A press release sent by Perdue's office Friday afternoon announced plans for a "holiday tree" lighting ceremony ... Thirty minutes later, a second release went out reading: "It is, in fact, a Christmas tree." That release blaming the earlier wording on "a politically correct staff brain-freeze," ... Perdue spokesman Dan McLagan said there's no doubt where the Republican governor comes down on the issue. "When the governor learns that one of my staffers even inadvertently used the words 'holiday tree,' I...

Do you remember your first brainfreeze? The drink that came to be known as the Slurpee was developed in Dallas and introduced to the masses by 7-Eleven Inc. 40 years ago. 7-Eleven registered the term "brainfreeze" in 1994. • More than 6 billion Slurpees have been sold, one for every man, woman and child on Earth. • More than 13 million Slurpees are consumed every month. • Although 7-Eleven started selling frozen drinks in 1965, they weren't called Slurpees until 1967. • About 40 percent are sold in the summer months. • The all-time U.S. Slurpee champion city – Detroit....
