A German nursing home has come up with a novel idea to stop Alzheimer's patients from wandering off: a phantom bus stop. Police in Jersey City have arrested an ex-con they say has been urinating on women at a bus stop in Journal Square, a source said Wednesday. Nitinkumar Patel, 27, has urinated on at least seven women in the last three months, a law enforcement source said. He was caught Wednesday morning while urinating on a 16-year-old girl at the bus stop, a law enforcement source said. Two victims have identified Patel, the source said. He spent almost six years in prison for aggravated assault convictions, according to the New Jersey Department of Corrections. Patel was released in January 2009.

SUMMERVILLE -- For the past two weeks, children in a Summerville neighborhood have been getting on and off the school bus in front of a registered sex offender's house. A couple with three children - ages 14, 12 and 9 - asked officials in Dorchester District 2 to move the bus stop, and district leaders agreed to do it. St. Paul police on Monday announced the arrests of a father and son from Anoka County in connection with a Sept. 17 kidnapping and sexual assault of a 12-year-old girl. Police said there is a "clear connection" to that incident and to another incident the previous day in which a car followed a 13-year-old girl who was walking home. The men also will be investigated for a possible role in three other child abductions or attempted child-abduction cases earlier this month, according to Paul Schnell, police department spokesman.
