  • Bombing the Syrian Reactor: The Untold Story

Thank-You for this thread, I have been wondering for years what that strike was about. Do you have any more information? I always thought that site held the “missing” WMD material.
Could it always have been part of the A.Q.Khan network?

When they said the Syrians bulldozed it days later I figured the site hard to be hot and pieces of the stuff were blowen up and spread around the desert.

One question or maybe comment.... Would I care if I killed 100 syrian kindergarden classes or a million to stop a program.... Not in the least, let me be the first in line. I really dont care how many jihadi children are killed when used as shields, they just grow up to be sucide bombers anyways.

As an American in NYC on 9/11, I would like to say it was a shared experence for ALL AMERICANS where ever we where that day and her family needs to get over what ever issues they have. 2 wars in two countries for 10 years, Ms. Ong family isnt owed anything by anyone.

As to the movie, I wasnt going to watch it. I figured any which way it was filmed it would have made the killing of a dirt bag in front of his family make us look bad. I feared it would make the communist weasel president look like some kind of gutsy leader with balls.....I was wrong, I watched the movie and feel it was done in taste and a just the facts style.

I vote straight ticket Republican, I have never voted for a (D) that I know of and if I did it had to be for a judge on a ballot where there was no party afiliation.
For the 2012 election I had to drive 800 miles home so that I could vote for my team and 800 miles back to my jobsite. My team is the Republican party, it always has been the GOP. I am back here amonst our fellow brothers to discuss in a free and open forum the issues that affect our country. I am back here as a commited conservitive to stand up and help lead a lost party. I wager to say we lost our way when Lee Atwater died on us.

This talk of RINOs when we have a commited communist and 1000s of his commited communists appointed to positions in upper goverment is NONSENCE. Its this talk of RINOs that have made our fine values a joke to anyone under 45. Its the language that you speak twards me that drives decent conservitive people to idiots the likes of Ron Paul and the Liberitarian party.

Hagel is a fellow enlisted man and a man that brought himself up by his bootstraps in American Capatilism, for you to call Chuck Hagel “ liberal scum “ insstead of the man who appointed him makes no sence to me? What would BHOs next pick be Sandra Fluke? Tammy Ducksworth?

Lets get back on the path of winning again....Thats my babble, I want the white house back and a man I can respect in it. Gosh dang I wish R$ won!

My insane venting? at a liberal website? I cant help those people I am not one of them, infact I hate them....U my brother I do love and I want to help us all. Once we help ourselves we get back to helping the country before we lose it all.

I was hungry at an autoparts store and I bought a bag of peanuts, it cost $3.75.

Fuel prices are what they are because on a super-weak american dollar. The dollar is super-weal because our goverment is in a huge $16.5 trillion dollar debt. 50% of the debt was made in the last 4 years under a 1/2 kenyan that also is causing crazy inflation.

To blame anything other than our countrys loss of its industrial base and manufacturing output over the last 80-90 quarters for the drop in the American dollars value is crazy. The half kenyan is pissed of too, he knows how much more money he could spend if it was 1992 instead of 2012....All african leaders in africa do this, spend all they can and take trips and go shopping and hang out with famous athletes....It is their nature, look at Edi Amin or Motoboko Konsekie, in the end you get what you pay for and deserve.

We need to stop this crazyness. This is the sour thinking that is damning our party to failure. I hate this term RINO as if we need to out conservitive each other.

In the current administration every appointment must be a first as in the first ugly woman, the first black homosexual, the first weasel that went gay because of peer pressure, the first non-american president.... Well with Hagel being the first enlisted man for SecDef, thats a better first that any of the other choices. I sure like Hagel over Paneta.
If we want a consertive future for our country, and I mean back to basics conservitision.....All you new south republicans, where were you 30 years ago? Most werent with us then, you new south republicans had dixie-crates to vote for. We republicans could win states that mattered like California....And folks dare to call anyone with an (R) behind there name a RINO.....
What we need to win the white house back is simple. We learn to hear what the DU nation whispers and everyone hears but us. Then we take those whisper worrys and cut them off at the bud......
Abortion and birth control, tell me why this is an issue to republicans? I understand the catholics and they have never been a hot bed of republican support.
We need Grover Norquest to tear up the no tax pledge and force everyone to sign the “Abortion and birthcontrol is the law of the land since 1973”.....This isnt a republican issue, we arent the party of godly people....Were the party of business and industry that supports the freedom of capital and it movement to make our human condition better... It is an Idea as old as the purtians in the north east, they wanted freedom of religion and freedom to do business to en-rich themselves and sailed around the world in yankee clippers doing this.
    IMHO.

Do you have a dog? Folks like shotguns for some reason, I think its because they dont have the same level of commitment as a handgun which IMHO is just a man killer A plus of using a long gun is you can hit folks with them and keep your purchase on the long gun while you do that, where as when you hit some one with a pistol its more a form of "encouragement". Given the choice of any weapon in the world for home defense and any set up invisioned.... IMHO I'm a big, strong guy that likes to fight, i do it for fun, give me a small cal, small double action wheel gun and a cute little smart and aleart 10-15 pound dog. Its really hard to beat a K-9 they live to tell you somebody it there, something isnt normal. A small little double action wheel gun is hard to see at night and works almost 100% they point and track very well. I find small weapons very hard to take away from people compaired to larger pistols and long guns. This is important when you want to make sure your site is sound and you are patroling. If you plan on being 100% defensive this is my advice, if you want to be agressive and go after somebody NO this isnt the way. There is really cool stuff in the .22, little nasty expanding rounds that are high volicity and will leave all the energy in the target. Something like a Ruger LCR .22 and you get 8 shots and no hammer! How can you go wrong? If you worry about bears and lions coming in your home this isnt what you want, if you are are in a gang war nope. If it a garden varity drunk rapist home invader heck yeah this little black beauty fills the bill in close quarters.

Red Flag or Red Reef....What ever its called is where this nonsence is coming from. If you go to the site you will find the letter, its 3 or 4 pages in a thumbnail size, really hard to read....I had to save it on my computer and then enlarge it to read it and its still hard because it loses resulation.

First off its a VA chain letter so it gets send to many vets, evedently this letter goes out to vets when they cannot manage their own benifet payments, they, the vet has to have a fiducary recive their benefitment payment and administer the payment for the care of the indivual...And it basicly explains how this may affect them, one of which is some degree affecting their 2nd amendment rights. These poor guys in this state have bigger issues that worrying about applying for a CCW or buying a new piece. It is being construded by people that folks “score well” on a PTSD assessment are then being removed of 2nd amendment rights by the VA and its Obama behind it.
As a vet I dont want any of my brothers fearing this, it would be as if I lost my pilots license because the VA sent the FAA a medical record where I was knocked out for 20 minutes because our president hates vets that are pilots. Lets watch this situation and moniter it, most of this stuff at this point seems like miss information. We have wooden teeth republicans, powered whigs amongst us that have knee jerk reactions, that try to whip us up with abortion and firearms issues....These arnt the reasons we Republicans exist, we are the party of industry and free capital, we want to do business and keep goverment out of our lives as much as possable.

Lastly I might have said something about the Lautenberg act, that has always to my knowalge been the real issue with our 2nd admendment rights, slap your wife and tell the cops you did it because she cheated on you and stole your money and really lose your gun rights.

We as consertives need stop being distracted by fake issues there are enough real ones.

    Happy to be back aboard.

I would like to be on the homebrewers ping list. I have been lurking of the Free Republic for years and have diceded to come out of the shadows to help us form our consertive future.

I have been brewing for years. I encourage everyone to go all grain, to convert a sankey keg to a brew pot with bulkhead fitting. That everyone should mash in a 10 gallon cooler at least! and frement in kegs with a #2 stopper. That everyone should fire their batch over a turkey cooker. The reason for this is because:
1.)Extract brewing is too expensive. All grain is cheap and and adjunt grain can be toasted to desired lovebond number.
2.)5 gallon batches are too small, when you and a friend sit down and drink your brew your batch is almost gone in one sitting and for sure gone if 3 drink for two. The costs to buy this 6.5 glass this and 5 gallon glass that. Brew in converted kegs for next to nothing and frement in them for again next to nothing and yeald 3 Xs of 15 gallons.
3.) force carbonation is the only way to go, bottle conditioning is hit or miss and doesnt yield steady results. Force carb the whole keg and if you still care to bottle use a counter pressure conditioner and fill til your hearts content.
4.) life is too short and we in life only have some many batches in us... for very few dollars more than an initinal home brew set up you can be mashing whole kegs.

Other things... Buy whole sacks of grain in 50# or 60# this drops prices to around a buck a pound. Buy your hops on line from tons of hops in 1# bulk bags drops hop prices to below a dollar and ounce. If you live in the north plant a hops ribzone and in 3 seasons you will have crazy hops! Make a counter flow chiller, you will never get a bad batch. Recapture your yeast and wash it after your fist rack and you can reuse it many times again. Buy a 20# co2 tank or bigger and never worry about refilling it as you do with little ones. IF you get to this point and havent lagered, start lagering because only lagers are shelf stable, all ales will go bad after months. Once you got a keg set up drop two batches in a day, every brew day.

You can do all this for the cost of a mid priced pistol and get much more enjoyment out of it.

    Brew on Brew up!

I am happy I am here friends!

I also see the new Posidon project a total joke too.

Any one read time this week where they listed the current costs of projects under development and the unit prices? How about the V-22 costing $122 million a copy! I could knock one down as it comes into a LZ with a brick! $122 million for the cost of a few bricks. A whole other screwed up program in the USAFs new radar program! I think Lockheed is prime contractor on that one too.

I will say less safe, you ever meet a bunch of teachers? They are a wack group of people that want to work with children and their crazy parents!

When we started the Flight Deck Officer program we were dealing with a group of folks that were ready to defend their cockpit so that the aircraft didnt become a 700,000 pound cruise missle, they already knew how to manage danger and deal with stress......

For pete sake look at the teachers union! Do you want to arm them to protect children? Wait until you dont pass the next milage vote.

As an aside I am sick of hearing about Teachers, Police, Firemen, and “Health Care Professionals” as if they are the people that made America great, that these are the working people, that they care for US!
We were a great country because we have resources and built things with them. Thats what made America rich and that is what made us powerful.
The reason these “Service Workers” are talkied about all the time is a two fold problem with America. 1st that is where the unions are still strong and leaders pander to unions. 2nd Nobody(mostly) wants to be responcable for themselves, I need some one to teach me, I need to call this 911 number to be safe, I need health care so I dont die.
We are all going to learn, it a question of what. Police and Fire come after the issue happend, and as to health care we will get sick and die.
Lets get America back to be about making things, thats why inventors and inavators came here in the first place so they could get their ideas built and make the dream a reality.
None of us conservatives will admit that there is a direct coralation between the gross number of firearms and the number of bad guys that will become worse bad guys by using firearms. With ruger alone selling over 2 million units last year, 1 million by last May, how cant we see we are in an arms race with ourselves.
We will as conservitives to a man say I do want a firearm to protect myself and it is my right.
And yet we wonder how we lose states like California, its because all of our leaders are wooden teeth republicans...old men that need powered whigs.

I hate this plane. I dont understand how or why unit costs have exploded. My guess as to why unit cost hyper inflation happens in the prime bidder on the contracts must outsource every single part down to the smallest. I would guess every one of the outsourced companies oursource everything else to a point where every single part is inspected and slightly turned through a super complex supply chain that only exists to supply one project.

I dont care if this is the greatest attack aircraft of all time, I dont think we can afford it, that its high cost is proof that we cannot make our own stuff in america any more.

I bet this F-35 project produces about the same number of units that the f-22 project. I dont see any need to lay down anymore keels for CVNs because we will not have the number of aircraft to make them a threat. We wont need many future pilots eather because we just wont have seats for them. I find to unbeliveable that we used to do fly offs to see who would win contracts, not we bribe contractors to produce aircraft with over inflated contracts.

Who would like to be the first guy to crash one? How can we afford to lose one in combat. I respected the B-2 price for the reason it was a first strike nuke bomber that could lay waste to nations.....I just dont see that kind of fire power here.
We became weak when we started to belive our own movies. Gosh just look at how the tababan wasted the Marine CO and his crew chief and 5 hornets in a desert rat attack months back.... 10 dirt bags and a crew served weapon in the back of a $500 pickup truck....We better spend billions on ABGD.

I read your post, then I went to the site. I had to download the pictures from “RED FLAG” then zoom in to read it...... I don't think you have read the letters from the VA sighted here. The letter seems to state that for what ever reason the recipent of the VA benefits cannot manage the payments them self and a “fiduciary” is to handle the payment. If you cannot handle your own money because of a handicap, how is that person to handle their firearms? or their car for that matter? I all of us vets should keep an eye on this, but it seems that the vet in this letter has bigger issues to worry about that 2nd amendment rights.
  • Ok how about we have a Chili Recipe thread(good after-the-snowstorm stuff)...

I won a cook off the outfit entered me into. I had no time, I went to Wendy's bought a few of the large sizes....Strained out the solid matter, put the chili liquid in to a squirt bottle. I plated by putting the solids in a 2.5 inch ring and artfully drizzled on the chili liquid....Wahala!

Winner Winner!!! I told the other tired and poor chefs what I did after and they all still hate me!
