Did you see JMS' latest - "Jeremiah" - on Showtime? What did you think? I liked it, and will watch the series. JMS is a great, imaginitive writer!

As long as they have Stewart they're not going to the big one.

I disagree. Kordell did great (alas, not good enough) this year and will no doubt be better next season, primarily (IMHO) because of the addition of the QB coach and the new offensive coordinator.

I just wish they'd let him run a little more!

I don't think anything can quite compare to B5 though...

    Rental availability???

Babylon 5 is on the SciFi channel at 7pm E/P, Mon-Thurs. This week's are just about in the middle of the 5-year story arc, though, so first-time viewers may find things difficult to follow.

The SciFi channel will premire a brand new B5 movie in mid/late January (the 19th, I think)...this may be the best place to get started.

Although I'm also a fan of all the ST series, I agree with tc99 that this is the best series, by far. And, mercifully, it avoids the ST series' technobable.

Ron's a great conservative talk show host. It takes a while to warm up to him, though, because of his often pessimistic perspective, at which he hasn't arrived at lightly. His show is a great complement to Rush's cheery Pubbie boosterism. I lived in the area until last year and I eventually became a real fan of the show, almost to the point of preferring him to Rush!

WBAL, unfortunately, isn't serious about their Internet broadcast. Consistently and as frequently as every few minutes, their servers lose or reset the connection. Last time I read it, even their FAQ had a section on "why can I listen to other broadcasts w/o a problem but not to WBAL" and then goes on to explain technically how their software breaks!! Well, then why don't they fix it!?! (Are you lurking, Ron??? I really miss your show!!!)
