The United States says it has not been able to move some of its non-essential diplomats from Libya, as governments send airplanes and ships to pick up their citizens stranded by Libya's bloody unrest. State Department spokesman P.J. Crowley said Tuesday the United States was looking at various ways to move the diplomats, their families, and other Americans out of Libya. HE DID NOT ELABORATE ON WHY THE US COULD NOT DO SO ON TUESDAY.. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said the safety and wellbeing of Americans is the highest U.S. priority. Meanwhile, Britain's foreign secretary says his country has...

Have you seen the every night and every day ads of the empty orange juice pitcher being filled up with golden fluid.... and then it is identified as being "lead in paint"? This "government paid for" ad states that 1 million people in the WORLD are affected (not just the US). Well, We, the Taypayers are paying for this AD!..... although it specifically says "in the WORLD". Last time I checked, we were not a UN NATION, but still AMERICA! I'm so sick of seeing government ads which we are paying for and advertising for "worldwide" problems? Give me a...

Anyone have any suggestions? Would a CB radio be good? What else would work in case of a crack-down on right-minded people?

A retired special education teacher on his way to a wedding in Orlando, Fla., said he was left humiliated, crying and covered with his own urine after an enhanced pat-down by TSA officers recently at Detroit Metropolitan Airport.

Yes..........................................................there is a Santa Claus! I remember my first Christmas adventure with Grandma.. I was just a kid. I remember tearing across town on my bike to visit her. On the way, my big sister dropped the bomb: "There is no Santa Claus," she jeered. "Even dummies know that!" My Grandma was not the gushy kind, never had been. I fled to her that day because I knew she would be straight with me. I knew Grandma always told the truth, and I knew that the truth always went down a whole lot easier when swallowed with one of her...

Islam is not a religion nor is it a cult. It is a complete system. Islam has religious, legal, political, economic and military components. The religious component is a beard for all the other components. Islamization occurs when there are sufficient Muslims in a country to agitate for their so-called "religious rights." When politically correct and culturally diverse societies agree to "the reasonable" Muslim demands for their "religious rights," they also get the other components under the table. Here’s how it works (percentages source CIA: The World Fact Book (2007).

Some things you just can't control... Glenn Beck had been trying for weeks to get a military fly-over with fighter jets to start the event, but the White House blocked it saying it was "restricted airspace". The rally started at 10:00 am, but at precisely 9:59am, God gave us His fly-over that could not have been better. I still get Goose bumps when I watch this. Everyone who was there witnessed a miracle You got to remember that GOD is still in charge!!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u2-QQoehT8c

Luke 2:8-14 (8) And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. (9) An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. (10) But the angel said to them, "Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. (11) Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord. (12) This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby...

Moreover, given the increasing diversity of America's population, the dangers of sectarianism have never been greater. Whatever we once were, we are no longer just a Christian nation; we are also a Jewish nation, a Muslim nation, a Buddhist nation, a Hindu nation, and a nation of nonbelievers. And even if we did have only Christians in our midst, if we expelled every non-Christian from the United States of America, whose Christianity would we teach in the schools? Would we go with James Dobson's, or Al Sharpton's? Which passages of Scripture should guide our public policy? Should we go with...

Have you forgotten how it felt that day? To see your homeland under fire And her people blown away Have you forgotten when those towers fell? We had neighbors still inside going thru a living hell And you say we shouldn't worry 'bout bin Laden Have you forgotten? -- Darryl Whorley, "Have you forgotten?"

Yeah, um, let’s read the quote in context .....

The World Trade Center belonged to the world. They were my towers and your towers. They represented a world bound together in trade, a world that set a value on all manner of goods and commodities, a world in which jobs and wealth were being created. The World Trade Center represented a rational world. Today, nine years later, the dispatches from the Middle East, from Afghanistan, the Palestinian enclaves, from Pakistan, from Yemen, and from an Iran bent on acquiring nuclear weapons, are filled with news of an irrational, dysfunctional society; an Islamist rat’s nest, still seeking to destroy Israel,...

The tax man cometh. Not only is it going to be individually painful in 2010, but the collective hit to consumers could be enough to stall the economic recovery as well. And 2010 is just the beginning. The International Monetary Fund, in a burst of pre-holiday cheer, warned Nov. 3 (.pdf file) to expect 10 years of spending cuts and tax increases. That's right: 10 years.

From his hospital bed Captain Howard Prince had a clear view of the TV screen as President Lyndon Johnson came on to address the nation. It was March 31, 1968, and the war in Vietnam was going badly. Prince knew. He’d been downrange, fighting in the rice paddies and marshes of Southeast Asia.

Kristopher Greer, a 25-yr old Marine from our small community in Tennessee was killed in Afghanistan on August 8. His funeral was yesterday. Attendance at the funeral was remarkable. The highway was blocked, no parking spaces left at the church, had to walk or take a shuttle. It appeared as if the entire community was there plus many others from all around. You could not get into the service. Although his death is the saddest thing that can happen to a family and a community, it was overwhelming to see the Welcome Home he got and the way the entire...

Once again, this evening while watching CNN as well as the baseball game, during dinner, we were subject to a digusting movie trailer touting lesbians living in a family as wife and wife and raising a teenager. The name of the movie is paradoxically, "The Kids Are All Right" and it opened the LA Film Festival this year (Actually that says a lot). It is graphic and full of sexual innuendos which create immediate discomfort and shame for the non-homosexual. At least it does for me. There is no question, that if a young child sees this trailer, that they...
