9 Years ago today, I had the great honor of being a key member of the World War II Memorial dedication weekend on the National Mall. Starting at 8AM, Big Band orchestra played the music of the greatest generation, 3PM saw President GW Bush on stage.

Mrs. Clinton, should you be elected as President of the United States, would you gurantee that you will not have sexual relations with interns, and by that guarantee, actually mean that you would not? Mrs. Clinton, a question regarding pardons granted by a sitting President of the United States please. If you were to be elected President of the United States, would you ever consider pardons such as were given by your husband, such as the pardon where your brother allegedly received over $100,000 in payments for expediting? Mrs. Clinton, were you to be elected President of the United States,...

As I watch the latest device by the Rats, the forged document episode, begin to reveal itself for what it is, I wonder how Kerry and Edwards will fare through it, and why so many in this country don't see the both of them for what they truly are. Kerry, notorious in our lifetime for his false witness in 1971, and Edwards, an ambulance chasing flower mouthed attorney who has profited millions by spewing falsities in courtrooms, both have excelled at their ability to stand and deliver what they know are mistruths, to their own personal advantage.A google search on...

O'Reilly was bantering with McAwful about ending the war on terror. McAwful keeps saying the Kerry will win the war, finally O'Reilly says (and I paraphrase) "...if Kerry wins, I want him to come on my show and tell me how he plans on doing that. McAwful replies "...no problem, if he wins, I'll let him come on the show and explain it."I just love the use of the I'll let him....won't he have to check with Tereeza first?

I was triggered this morning, after watching a news blurb on Kerry, standing and delivering his BS, to look into the past century and see what wars and casualties America had endured. I surprised myself, with the statistics of who was in office at the time of each major conflict, and the casualties suffered. World War I Woodrow Wilson Democrat 116,708 killed World War II FDR Democrat 408,306 killed Total Dems in charge 20th Century war deaths = 637,479 Korean Conflict Truman Democrarat 54,246 killed Viet Nam JFK / LBJ Democrats 58,219 killed Once again, pay attention to them, as...

Dear Bl., This weekend I met with supporters in Washington state, where more than 850,000 residents are without health care - including 173,000 children. If nothing changes, another 116,000 residents will lose their health care coverage this year. The reason we don't have health care for every American is because powerful special interests - not only insurance and pharmaceutical companies, but industries that don't want to have to pay more for workers' health care - are the key forces behind most political campaigns. Too many elected officials are beholden to these special interests. In our campaign, special interests have been...

Freepers, here's a story of a young couple that my wife and I have met,and who (IMHO) have done a very righteous thing. They read a local story of a disabled vet who had his car stolen, and decided to act on it.

Frank Sinatra show at NYC Radio City Music Hall I attended a new show put on by Radio City Music Hall, where they have taken film footage previously unseen outside of the Sinatra family, and worked the soundtrack to a live orchestra. All in all, it is quite a believable event, with projection screens moving in and out of view, and a constant flow of imagery of Frank and family and friends. There is one section where they mention Frank's involvement with the Giancana family in Chicago, and how he, as a friend of JFK, and with a phone call...

The five finalists were asked questions written earlier by their fellow finalists. Nicole O'Brian, Miss Texas stood up for America Live last night at the Miss USA Pageant. Questions were asked the final five contestants. O'Brian's question was whether celebrities should use their status to speak out against the Iraq war. "I don't think it's good for them to go against the president and the war," she replied. "Have faith in our country, have faith in our president and have faith in our freedom."
