I still CANNOT BELIEVE that Clinton picked up Blabbermouth just after the party canned her. The optics of that are HORRENDOUS.

I had thought it was a joke - but now I think it must have been blackmail. Nothing else makes sense. Blabbermouth was ready to finish off Hillary if she didn’t get hired.

“Seeing how Ryan is ahead of virtually-unknown Nehlen, who only moved into the congressional district in 2014, by 49 percentage points...”scare” is not a very accurate term.”

As spectators, we all choose the polls we want to believe, but politicians that want to survive do not discount ANY OF THEM, or they very well may end up on K-Street, as Eric Cantor learned the hard way on June 14, 2014.

So, sorry, but this poll from just a week before the RNC had to scare the crap out of Ryan. Not only does it show him only up by 11 points, it also shows him way below the 50% level of support that is considered ‘comfortable’ for an incumbent.

To get an idea how effective they are, consider that Trump is leading 62-23 among whites that didn’t attend college and is only tied, 40-40 among whites that got brainwashed at college.

Pretty damn scary. One would hope that college-educated people would be better able to see the big picture, but I guess the brainwashing is simply too effective.

I think this morning that I noted that Trump’s supporters are ROCK-SOLID, and that the only way they’ll leave him is if he (with credibility) tells them to leave him.

Otherwise the Dems might as well learn to deal with the fact that Trump is at 43% or so (compared to Hillary at 39%), and that Trump’s ONLY DIRECTION is up...whereas Hillary’s supporters, many of which voted for Sanders, may very easily leave her.

    07/25/2016 2:47:38 PM PDT · 16 of 26
    BobL to jazusamo

In the year 2000, the DEMOCRATS ran an ad showing a pickup truck dragging a chain behind it.

It was made clear that the real-life person dragged to his death was a black man named James Byrd - a man they tell us was partially retarded (as if that matters). He was killed by three HORRIBLE white guys - and an unspeakable crime. One of those white guys has been executed, the second one will be executed if Hillary doesn’t make it to White House to pack the Supreme Court (think about that, NeverTrumpers, and I know you are there), and the third one, who was given a life sentence without parole, for testifying against the first two.

To me, and to pretty much all Texans, THE SYSTEM WORKED. The killers were made to pay. There was NEVER any doubt regarding charging and prosecuting them - the evidence was there, and skin color of both the victim and the accused had NOTHING to do with justice - kill a man in cold blood, you pay - and justice is COLORBLIND (something that was NOT true when Democrats ran the South, by the way). This was one of the PROUDEST moments in this conservative’s life.

But that was NOT ENOUGH for the left. The reason that they ran the ad was because then-governor George W. Bush, who was now running for President, refused to sign a ‘hate crimes’ bill in Texas that included LGBTQs. He correctly made the case that justice already works in his state. Yet the Democrats ran that ad anyway, NATIONALLY, and both got the black vote out, and made sure it was polarized against Bush.

This is how they operate - there is NO COMPROMISE - they must be DEFEATED, once and for all.

About the only gripe our side has with them is that they continue to vote for Democrats, even after DEMOCRATS wrecked their culture and put them into such misery (and yes, if you read Thomas Sowell, they had a very strong the past, before liberalism).

But then is it really their fault, when we don’t even try to explain conservatism to them? Fortunately Trump isn’t the type of person to write off any group, and if blacks still vote overwhelmingly Democrat in November, at least it will now be an informed decision.

I agree that Trump won’t get 70%, but 65% is easily within his reach. Just the numbers from this poll put him at about 61%-62% of the white vote (when normalized to 100%).

At 65% of the overall white vote, he just needs to pluck off a relative handful of Hispanics and blacks to get over the top. Anything more, even Romney’s bad Hispanic/black numbers, means a landslide.

And don’t forget - most of that 65% of the vote is concentrated in very critical states (i.e., PA and Rust Belt). The states with the really high minority counts, CA, TX and NY won’t matter for Trump - they’re already decided (except, maybe, in a landslide win).

“And I’m thinking the democrats internal polling isn’t looking so good and they’ve realized (hopefully to late) that they still need moderate working class whites to win.”

Actually, they were on to it from the start, which is why they fought Trump so hard. It wasn’t just Republican elites that didn’t want Trump, it was the entire Democrat field - they saw his power. They just couldn’t go public with that information, of course.

But more recently, about 2 weeks ago, there were some articles saying that Hillary needs to reach white, working class voters. Problem is, SHE WAITED TOO LONG. Kaine will be of no help - as far as these voters go, Hillary is all-in with Black Lives Matter and Amnesty. She’s already type-casted herself. The Dems all know that, but no one is ready to ‘have the talk’ with Hillary, so they may well just ride her straight into defeat - hoping they get more chances in the future, which has always been the case, since we manage to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory every time we achieve power. But somehow I see that differently with Trump.

“Imagine if Sanders does something similar today — suppose he gives a nice speech but does not actually endorse Clinton. It would have the opposite effect among Democrats. It would solidify the opposition.”

Exactly. The big difference is that Sanders supporters (correctly) assume that the game was rigged against them - whereas the Cruz supporters were instead trying to RIG THE GAME against Trump. Perhaps in Cruz’s strange mind he was some kind of Republican superhero, thinking that he’s saving (or tried to save) the country from the ravages of Trump, but to 95% of Republicans now - he just looks like a nutcase. We pity him, especially considering the incredible potential he squandered away.

I won’t be part of that revolt (I’ll head to New Zealand or something) - but sadly I agree. Once the courts are solid in Hillary’s camp, we no longer will have a functioning Republic - she will be able to do as she wishes, and there will be no way for Congress or anyone else to stop her - and typically when a such a level of hopelessness is reached, bad things happen.

“Trump’s newfound lead is also boosted by a sharp increase in support from whites without college degrees. In the new poll they break 62% for Trump to 23% for Clinton”

I’m still processing the above, and have one other observation:

These people, working class whites, were THE DEMOCRAT BASE until no more than a generation ago - until then, it would have been the Democrats with the 62%. The Dems left them for minorities and other special interest groups, and THEY WERE UP FOR GRABS.

The IDIOTS that run the Republican Party were TOO STUPID to figure this out and kept trying to fight for Democrat special interests, rather than grabbing these people. While their numbers are proportionally less now than in the past (in the past they were likely over 50% of the electorate, now around 35%), they are still HUGE NUMBERS - and Romney sent them packing with his 47% remark. Trump definitely will not do that - once Trump reaches people, they stay with him, as the Dems will learn when their post-convention non-bounce polling takes place in a week.

In the new poll they break 62% for Trump to 23% for Clinton, while whites who hold at least a bachelor’s degree have actually tilted more pro-Clinton since the convention (from a 40% to 40%...”

WOW! 62/23 for whites without college degrees. Let that sink in for a bit. Thats mean a number of things:

    1) (white) WOMEN are included in that number - obviously huge numbers love Trump. So much for that meme.
    2) Gays are included in that number - probably not as prevalent in this group, but obviously there are some.
    3) Very poor whites are included in that number, including those on welfare. They still love this country and want it to be great again.

Whites without college degrees are the people competing HEAD-TO-HEAD with globalism - TODAY. They are the ones having their factories shut down, and having Illegals taking the remaining jobs available to them.

TRUMP HAS THEM, and will hold them. That is his base and that is likely the strongest that a largest class of white voters has ever favored any political party.

Now it’s time to move out from there. It’s time to reach the pointy-heads. It’s time to explain the demographic implications of Open Borders - the fact that their kids will NEVER get to see the same country they grew up in. It’s time to explain the fact that their kids and grandkids may very well be living in a CORRUPT, THIRD WORLD COUNTRY in a generation - where the only people that ‘make it’ are those that bribe government officials and those those that receive the bribes. Everyone else is locked into a PATHETIC SUBSISTENCE lifestyle, where you wait in line to buy bread and everything else you need to live...if it’s even available.

The pointy-heads think their vaunted ‘education’ will insulate them - it will not, it just delays things a few years. The flow-down from Globalism has clearly reached the working class - given the numbers above. There is NO WAY to stop it from reaching people above that level. It’s coming, and it will be here with the next election, if Trump loses.

...and remember, WHITES ARE (still) 70% OF THE VOTING ELECTORATE.

Possibly as high as 76% depending on what data you’re looking at. If Trump gets 70% of the white vote this will be the biggest landslide in history. And, as it is, normalized to 100%, Trump is already over 70% of white, working class, voters. He just needs the pointy-heads now.

    CNN would have done themselves and the Democrats a huge favor if they had left out this breakdown - it gives Trump the final piece of the puzzle to end this nightmare, once and for all.;

I remember this statement too. THIS IS WHO THEY ARE and this is PRECISELY what they intend in the United States.

One of the reasons that I’ve always agreed that Democrats are much smarter than Republicans (at least at the leadership level) is that they are able to understand the END GAME of Immigration (legal and otherwise), whereas Republicans have a MUCH MORE DIFFICULT TIME understanding the same.

When a good-looking young guy like Rubio shows up and says that the best way for Republicans to be competitive in the future is to legalize (and import) 30 MILLION new Democrat voters, SOMEONE in our party’s leadership needs to tell Rubio to shut up and GO TO HELL - but instead they listen to him and many become hypnotized to his TOTALLY IRRATIONAL swan song, even Rush, at times.

And ESPECIALLY compared to sending money to and people to ACTIVELY CAMPAIGN against people like Bibi - and doing it covertly - as if they have ANYTHING to complain about.

Thanks, as I brilliantly posted after the news, Debbie is now relegated to the RUBBER ROOM.

(p.s., look it up if you don’t know what it is - it fits her situation perfectly)
