Remember that the sodomites and other blasphemers of today are unknowingly flashing the sign of God’s covenant with Noah on the White House, Niagra Falls, and other places. They do not even realize the irony of the symbol they have chosen as it refers to a time when God destroyed the earth because of man’s wickedness. I hate, loathe and despise the pictures I’ve seen of this gay symbol degrading everything, but then I remember what it really symbolizes that they don’t understand and think of how God laughs at them when they shake their fist in his face. (Psalm 2)

Genesis 6 The LORD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intention of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. 6 And the LORD regretted that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him to his heart. 7 So the LORD said, “I will blot out man whom I have created from the face of the land, man and animals and creeping things and birds of the heavens, for I am sorry that I have made them.” ….
11 Now the earth was corrupt in God’s sight, and the earth was filled with violence. 12 And God saw the earth, and behold, it was corrupt, for all flesh had corrupted their way on the earth. 13 And God said to Noah, “I have determined to make an end of all flesh, for the earth is filled with violence through them. Behold, I will destroy them...
17 For behold, I will bring a flood of waters upon the earth to destroy all flesh in which is the breath of life under heaven. Everything that is on the earth shall die.
After the flood, the rainbow, the sign of God’s covenant promise.
12 And God said: “This is the sign of the covenant which I make between Me and you, and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations: 13 I set My rainbow in the cloud, and it shall be for the sign of the covenant between Me and the earth. 14 It shall be, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the rainbow shall be seen in the cloud; 15 and I will remember My covenant which is between Me and you and every living creature of all flesh; the waters shall never again become a flood to destroy all flesh.

The Day of the Lord - the next time the Lord destroys the earth because of man’s wickedness, it will be with fire, not a flood.
    2 Peter 3:4-13
4 They will say, “Where is the promise of his coming? For ever since the fathers fell asleep, all things are continuing as they were from the beginning of creation.” 5 For they deliberately overlook this fact, that the heavens existed long ago, and the earth was formed out of water and through water by the word of God, 6 and that by means of these the world that then existed was deluged with water and perished. 7 But by the same word the heavens and earth that now exist are stored up for fire, being kept until the day of judgment and destruction of the ungodly.
8 But do not overlook this one fact, beloved, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. 9 The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance. 10 But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, and then the heavens will pass away with a roar, and the heavenly bodies will be burned up and dissolved, and the earth and the works that are done on it will be exposed.
11 Since all these things are thus to be dissolved, what sort of people ought you to be in lives of holiness and godliness, 12 waiting for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be set on fire and dissolved, and the heavenly bodies will melt as they burn! 13 But according to his promise we are waiting for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.

The Reign of the Lord’s Anointed

2 Why do the nations rage
and the peoples plot in vain?

The kings of the earth set themselves,
and the rulers take counsel together,
against the Lord and against his Anointed, saying,

“Let us burst their bonds apart
and cast away their cords from us.”

    He who sits in the heavens laughs;
the Lord holds them in derision.

Then he will speak to them in his wrath,
and terrify them in his fury, saying,

“As for me, I have set my King
    on Zion, my holy hill.”

I will tell of the decree:
    The Lord said to me, “You are my Son;
    today I have begotten you.

Ask of me, and I will make the nations your heritage,
and the ends of the earth your possession.

You shall break them with a rod of iron
and dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel.”

    Now therefore, O kings, be wise;
be warned, O rulers of the earth.

    Serve the Lord with fear,
    and rejoice with trembling.

    Kiss the Son,
lest he be angry, and you perish in the way,
for his wrath is quickly kindled.
Blessed are all who take refuge in him.

Let me pose this question - given the dreadful ignorance of most of our electorate today, what is to prevent the Supreme Court, or the President - from making a pronouncement that this new “Amendment 28” is unconstitutional and invalid? You said Amendment 28 prevents that - but I still have a big concern.

Now you and I and anyone with half a brain can see you cannot wholesale just say an Amendment is unconstitutional - that is like saying up is down or black is white. But I believe they will effectively try to do that but using some other sort of high faluting legalize language and “interpreting” it in some way that it doesn’t really mean (they would find some emanation in the penumbra that revealed the inner mystical meaning which would be exactly what the federal elite powers that be want and exactly the opposite of what the constitutionalist writers intended...)

    - just like they are doing to so many other amendments these last 40 years.(The constitution means whatever the judges say it means )
Example - Article 10 has no “teeth” or is even much more than a placeholder these days.

My question - will Amendment 28 include in it actual enforcement measures - like clearly enumerate that the individual STATES reserve the right to direct state officials, state militias, etc to ENFORCE this by certain means, up to and including physically remove federal judges who try to circumvent this restriction of their power? I think this circular thing where the federal government makes, interprets and EXECUTES the federal law - and states have no specific power to enforce anything - is a real issue and something that will need to be addressed, otherwise Article V amendments can just be ‘reinterpreted’ and essentially ignored or downgraded as have so many others. And also we will have the media, the 5th column, ENDLESSLY propagandizing this whole thing so that uninformed people do not understand what is going on.

I am not a lawyer and probably have not stated this concern very clearly, - but I think it’s a key, core issue.

I do agree Article V may be the last possible measure other 3 other possible outcomes: wholesale revival in which peoples hearts are changed, total tyranny in which the whole country comes under totalitarian control, or all out bloody civil war.

    > Hostage:

The example 28th Amendment of this thread is a game changer and is like no other amendment that has ever existed.

The answer to your fear is in Section 3 where the States are allowed to void any specific Supreme Court ruling. The term ‘void’ in legal definitions means to be treated as if it never existed.

SCOTUS won’t have any interpretation opportunity for Amendment 28 Section 3. If 30 or more states declare according to Amendment 28 that the same-sex ruling of today is void, the state statutes and policies are free to remain intact and there is nothing the federal government can do about it. No reliance is placed on any part of federal government to interpret or enforce. All power from the example 28 falls to the States. That’s why it’s like nothing seen before; why it’s a game changer

Thank you for that thoughtful response and setting me straight as I was really despairing and not thinking clearly. I need to read through the related messages to this post again. Again, I appreciate yours and Hostage’s replies. Once again, the Founding fathers were brilliant in their many checks and balances they provided, our constitution is an amazing thing if we will only use the structures provided to us within it - and using the states to enforce measures that wont be enforced by the Federal government is brilliant as Hostage mentioned in his reply to me - it bears repeating for any who stumble on this thread again:

If so, exactly who is going to determine the facts about someone working to undermine the Constitution of the United States, and who is going to carry out those just sentences prescribed for those acts of treason, if the court(s), highest elected officials, military, and appointed national civil law enforcement authorities are all corrupted, and working for the enemies of our Constitution and their twisted aims?

(Pretty sobering and frightening questions to ponder.)

But questions that need to be asked.
Biblically, we must respect our authorities. I don’t think indivicuals can Biblically take this on. I DO think that duly elected governing leaders can Biblically address this (Senators, state governors, etc).
This is where Article V can be not only a constitutionally correct procedure but also a Biblical procedure.

I believe any articles passed via Article V need to have disciplinary measures and penalties proscribed. And those measures should be executed by the States. The U.S. Congress is never going to enact penalties on anyone at the Federal level.
And we need to be praying, praying, praying.

I wish all the conservatives would move from their states to one contiguous geographic location of the US (Texas, Oklahoma, Southern states and whatever states contiguous with those want to join us). Seal the borders.

And then we just start ignoring Federal evil laws and judicial pronouncements, stop taking federal money and stop sending them taxes except for specific national security issues - nullify and at some point secede if necessary. Tell them we (the new confederacy) will vote as a block on national security issues but other than that cut the ties, starve the beast. So that we who are Christians are not forced to either ignore our consciences or disrespect authorities.

I think if all conservatives were concentrated in one geographic area it could be done.

I was 100% on the Article V bandwagon, but I’m starting to feel as many on here do, and don’t mind admitting, I’m beginning to lean toward the #2 group. Even if we pass some of the great amendments suggested, why would SCOTUS not just “interpret” them to mean something that they don’t? It only takes a few “oppressed” people to bring a challenge up before the SCOTUS and they can “make the constitution mean whatever they say it means”.

Until we have state legislators and governors who have the spine to challenge these ungodly, unholy and unconstitutioional SCOTUS prounouncements and interpretations, and who will REFUSE TO COMPLY AT THE STATE LEVEL, and threaten to arrest any federal agent who tries to enforce otherwise, it is all meaningless!!!

Do we have state legislators and governors who are godly, fearless men and who are ready to actually go to war if necessary? I don’t know! I know we have a few in Texas but I certainly don’t claim that the state as a whole is there. I have no idea about other states. And if we have state governments who are willing to do that, then why aren’t they already challenging some of the other garbage that has been laid on us?

As you may know, I was one of the original supporters of Article V on Jacquerie’s threads, and think the idea has merit if there is still enough support at the local/individual and state level (I mean a moral, godly contingent in this nation and fearless state level leaders.)

I’m just no longer confident that we do.

It’s not the SHTF scenario I worry about so’s the slow, almost silent death of a culture, of a nation, of a way of thinking. That’s how most nations, empires end....they just sort of crumble slowly from within.

That is what makes me the saddest, too. At 55 years old, I realize that even many of my generation have no clue what America was about, much less the following generations. That is heartbreaking to me. I don’t know how we can get back politically and economically, if our religious, moral and cultural foundations are crumbled.

The purpose of government is not freebies, welfare, free college, etc. It is to protect the rule of law. All the other stuff we’ve added to government has completely broken down families, and now we are trying to control a rabid, wild, bitter, greedy and violent sub group of society. And the more they act this way, the more prejudices and stereotypes and counter hatred will grow. (Although I believe there are LOTS of good black people, they will eventually all be thought of in the same light because of this subset of really wild, hateful ones.)

These people that wont control themselves will have to be controlled by ever increasing force. And that is sad because it will affect the lives of the rest of us. We’ve gone from Andy of Mayberry land where people could leave their doors unlocked and kids could roam the town all day, to a situation where increasingly people will have to live in gated, fortified communities, be constantly armed, and police will become increasingly harsh and militarized. Just what some groups want, I guess.
    Sad, sad, sad.

From a forwarded facebook post that a friend of friend shared today: And apparently this particular “DJ” has been doing this in multiple neighborhoods! From other comments:(It is DJ REIGN. They were selling tickets on twitter. I understand we are not the first neighborhood that has been targeted by these guys.”)

Facebook friends and family – PLEASE HELP! That (now viral) video of the officer in McKinney subduing a girl in a bathing suit was in OUR neighborhood. The situation was NOT what is being reported…

A DJ setup in a public space next to the private pool in our neighborhood on Friday and played loud explicit (F-bomb) music for multiple hours (it is unclear if he was invited by a resident as no one has claimed responsibility). The teenagers (both black and white) were being brought into our neighborhood by the carload because the DJ was tweeting out invites to a “pool party” for $15 (obviously unauthorized by our neighborhood). The teens began fighting with each other and pushing their way into our private pool. Some were jumping our fence. The security guard was accosted when he tried to stop the beginnings of this mob scene. Some residents who live around the park/pool area tried to come out and settle things down. The teens started yelling racial slurs at our neighbors and started assaulting people and property (throwing bottles at cars and attacking a mother at the pool with 3 young children). The first officer on the scene was by himself. At that time, the party had grown to a large, aggressive crowd. As the officer arrived, many teens started running through our neighborhood. Many of the teens were being very aggressive and yelling at the officers as more arrived.

This was a very dangerous situation for the officers AND the teens/residents not involved. The news media has refused to hear the neighborhood’s side of this story. The video being distributed is only a very small segment of what happened. This information being distributed by the media and others is extremely distorted and in some cases outright lies.

PLEASE HELP US STOP THE BROADCASTING OF THIS IGNORANCE. The media is trying to make it look like our neighborhood is a white’s only, racist area. Anyone who has spent even a few minutes in our area knows this is an outright LIE.

The unfortunate result is that our neighbors are now being threatened. We have also had cars and property in and around the park area vandalized this weekend. Unfortunately, the press and social media are trying to enflame the situation.

I am asking for your help for my family and my neighbor’s safety…PLEASE, PLEASE do not rebroadcast any of these lies.

    (End of FB post)

Is it possible to sue broadcast media for spreading lies, rumors and inflaming riot-like situations?

-The Great Awakening was a hoax
-The Puritans came to America to persecute the Salem witches
-The Atomic bomb was dropped in WWII, not on Japan, but on the Congo.

Apparently their book had a quote made by someone from the Congo regarding the dropping of the atomic bomb and the teacher gleaned from that that the bomb was dropped onto the Congo. An English teacher who cant read, and doesn’t know any history, imagine that.)

My friend’s daughter was homeschooled and of course thought this was all hilariously stupid, but as parents we realized probably 90% of kids couldn’t tell this garbage from anything approaching history.)

The downward decline of communist indoctrination in stupidity has gone from a steady downward slope the last 40 years, to a straight down freefall in the last 5-6 years. It’s mind boggling how fast a country can be destroyed through destroying its education of youth.

My son at 17, just got his first paycheck from his first job at a fast food restaurant. When he brought his paycheck home he said, “I think they made a mistake, I work this many hours and I’m supposed to get paid so and so per hour, but this is so much less than what I figured out! I think someone made a mistake in multiplication or in my hours or something!” We explained what those different deduction lines meant and he was not happy, it was kind of funny to see the light bulb go on. We said, ok this line helps subsidize all those welfare people we are always complaining about,(and part is to fund our military which is a good thing, but not most of the rest of it), this line helps subsidize “Obamacare”,medicare, etc. It really clicked in, hey that’s MY MONEY for a yucky job I don’t really like going to other people!

All those years of mom and dad grumping about having to pay so much taxes, and liberals and socialism, etc, sure did hit home in one little paycheck stub. It’s a lot different when its HIS money and not mom and dads. Reality has a way of doing that to you. He’s been taking economics in a homeschool coop class and I hope the combination of theory (which really was interesting but not really “connecting” with him) with slap in the face reality will help him understand the real world. I’m glad he could see it now and not after 5 years of college.

We’ve told our kids the same thing, if you want us to subsidize your education you have to choose something useful. You have your whole life to study history or photography or whatever on your own time, but for us to pay any part of it it has to be something realistic. Even our youngest daughter, who is very “artsy” is going to choose something practical like computer graphic design. She can do her real artwork as a hobby in her own time if she wants to.

And just as an aside, we do give money to the down and out through our church, overseas missions and local missions. But we do so through organizations which use the money wisely to help those people who are truly turning their life around and who share the gospel so we aren’t just funding greedy, lazy people in sinful lifestyles. So we want our kids to not think we have a problem with helping the poor, just with having the GOVERNMENT do it.

If the Germans had managed to get a Nazi elected in England and he said he welcomed all foreigners without a passport and no immigration officers would send them back, would any of them be surprised when a whole army of Nazis entered their country and started terrorist attacks? And when these new immigrants complained about being “victimized by hatred” and tried to kill a native, and the media decided the woman who spoke out against them “had it coming” and “invited an attack”, we would have thought they had all gone freaking crazy. Yet that is exactly what has happened on American soil. We ARE being invaded its just that most Americans are too stupid or asleep to realize it.

    Curses for Disobedience

15 “But if you will not obey the voice of the Lord your God or be careful to do all his commandments and his statutes that I command you today, then all these curses shall come upon you and overtake you. 16 Cursed shall you be in the city, and cursed shall you be in the field. 17 Cursed shall be your basket and your kneading bowl. 18 Cursed shall be the fruit of your womb and the fruit of your ground, the increase of your herds and the young of your flock. 19 Cursed shall you be when you come in, and cursed shall you be when you go out.

20 “The Lord will send on you curses, confusion, and frustration in all that you undertake to do, until you are destroyed and perish quickly on account of the evil of your deeds, because you have forsaken me. ....

32 Your sons and your daughters shall be given to another people, while your eyes look on and fail with longing for them all day long, but you shall be helpless. 33 A nation that you have not known shall eat up the fruit of your ground and of all your labors, and you shall be only oppressed and crushed continually, 34 so that you are driven mad by the sights that your eyes see. 35 The Lord will strike you on the knees and on the legs with grievous boils of which you cannot be healed, from the sole of your foot to the crown of your head.

36 “The Lord will bring you and your king whom you set over you to a nation that neither you nor your fathers have known. And there you shall serve other gods of wood and stone. 37 And you shall become a horror, a proverb, and a byword among all the peoples where the Lord will lead you away. ...

41 You shall father sons and daughters, but they shall not be yours, for they shall go into captivity. 42 The cricket[c] shall possess all your trees and the fruit of your ground. 43 The sojourner who is among you shall rise higher and higher above you, and you shall come down lower and lower. 44 He shall lend to you, and you shall not lend to him. He shall be the head, and you shall be the tail.

45 “All these curses shall come upon you and pursue you and overtake you till you are destroyed, because you did not obey the voice of the Lord your God, to keep his commandments and his statutes that he commanded you. 46 They shall be a sign and a wonder against you and your offspring forever. 47 Because you did not serve the Lord your God with joyfulness and gladness of heart, because of the abundance of all things, 48 therefore you shall serve your enemies whom the Lord will send against you, in hunger and thirst, in nakedness, and lacking everything. And he will put a yoke of iron on your neck until he has destroyed you. 49 The Lord will bring a nation against you from far away, from the end of the earth, swooping down like the eagle, a nation whose language you do not understand, 50 a hard-faced nation who shall not respect the old or show mercy to the young. 51 It shall eat the offspring of your cattle and the fruit of your ground, until you are destroyed; it also shall not leave you grain, wine, or oil, the increase of your herds or the young of your flock, until they have caused you to perish.

That book looks interesting. I wonder if the principles it describes could be used to defeat other media pushed leftist positions that are taking over our country? Or did it just work because 2A issues are more clear cut and well defined than some of the other ones we face?

Maybe if OUR side investigates and publishes whatever it is they have on McConnell and the rest it will either get them thrown out of office or at least take the blackmail factor out of the equation.

I don’t know, I’m a wife and mom and not in the military but I would think whatever we would have done in WW II if the Nazi’s had started establishing camps right on the other side of our border. Or during the Cold war if there were documented military strongholds of Russians within 10 miles of our border.

If we had a real president he would be putting extreme pressure on the Mexican government to remove them, and would probably tell them if you don’t, we will take care of it now. But our TIC (Traitor in Chief) is probably thrilled to hear ISIS is right on our doorstep.

“To a certain extent, woman is the conservator of her nation’s welfare. Her virtue, if firm and uncorrupted, will stand sentinel over that of the empire. “
“The greatest influence on earth, whether for good or evil, is possessed by woman. Let us study the history of by -gone ages, the state of barbarism and civilization ; of Paganism and Christianity; of antiquity and the middle ages; of the mediaeval and modern times; and we shall find that there is nothing that more decidedly separates them than the condition of woman.”

Thanks for that great essay. I had read it before but it is good to re-read every so often, so that we remember that the deconstruction of America is not happenstance or an accident, but was very well orchestrated by specific groups for specific purposes.

Good article. But as with most good thoughtful essays like this it is strong on defining the problem but says almost nothing about what we can do, practically, to achieve the goals.

The universities, along with our putrid media, are an infection that is about to kill America.

Wow, I don’t know anyone personally who spoils their kids like that. (Although my sister’s step grandkids behaved that way - their home life is definitely not like most of our friends)

I’m sorry for your wife. That must have been hard to be gracious about that after working so hard to make a nice dinner.

Character is made up of the small unselfish decisions we choose to make each day -for our spouses, our parents, our kids (And remembering that being unselfish doesn’t mean giving them all they want, but doing what is best for them which sometimes means enduring their wrath and sighs because we stand up to them and DONT give them exactly what they want).
