Do you remember where you read it at? I have looked and looked and can not find a thing, to back up what I am feeling. I emailed a friend in June that I felt like a huge hurricane would hit in the gulf at the base of the faultline and trigger something even worse. But can not reason in my own mind how a hurricane could move or shift land or if it does.

I have a question. What is the likely hood or is there even any of a storm of this magnitude slamming into land and effecting the New Madrid Fault? Will the flooding that is sure to come right up thru where the fault lies have any effect. The New Madrid has been showing recent signs of more activity. This hurricane scares me to death but I can not quit thinking about the fault line....!!! as if this monster of a storm is not bad enough.
