You are the ones who jumped to conclusions...about me...and about who might have the wisdom of God. Not every Christian politician has “the wisdom of God” by any means. And while I would certainly prefer someone leading the country who has the wisdom of God, I am much more able to discern who has the wisdom to leave me alone and it’s much easier to see who has the wisdom of the Founders.

In fact, the wisdom of the Founders was the wisdom of God, and that meant limited Government.

Obama did not easily win Virginia really, 50%- to 48% I believe, after beating McCain 52-47.

The IRS, like every government bureaucracy, is political by nature. It’s who they are. You can’t separate the politics from government. The Founders knew this. Fat Candy does not.

I understand about all of that, and I understand that the GOTV apparatus is impressive. I understand it’s tight. But 08 and 12 are not relevant because Obama’s emotional tie to the voter is off the table. 09 and 10 happened AFTER 08. Obama also got less votes, and a full 2% lower vote total in 2012 in Virginia than he got in Virginia in 08.

For all of the demographics and growth in Northern Va and for all of their GOTV, they have polled worse in 09,10 and 12 than they did in 08, and 2013’s proper analogy is 09.

Which is why the 08 and 12 turn outs are not relevant IMO.

But my question is, will the Democrat running against her be better? Of course not.

Now, with the IRS scandal - and this is one that will NOT go away - dove tailing with the train wreck of Obama Care - perhaps his Constitutional bent and speech making ability will work with Cuccinelli and work out. I also don’t think an inside crony like McAuliffe will sell well in light of all of this.

As I recall, Virginia’s 09 election was almost a straight up and down the ballot referendum on Obama, the candidates were almost not relevant - and Obama got shellacked. If its that kind of referendum in ‘13, I think Obama gets shellacked again.

To compare the IRS scandal to Lewinsky tells me you don’t understand the IRS scandal at all. The two could not be more different. One is a personal scandal. One is simply what happens when liberalism happens. Could. Not. Be. More. Different.

One little secret that the Democrats know - the lo fo voter is very emotionall tied to Obama. Obama will never be on another ticket.....thus the lo fo voter turn out will never be the same again. This is true of the white hipster lo fo and the obama phone ghetto lo fo especially. N’Obama? No lo fo vote.

These are not even scandals per se. This is how big government operates daily, and it has been laid bare. And since it will continue to operate daily, this reality cannot go away.

I don’t pretend to have a crystal ball on this, but I do think it’s possible....possible, not definite, that the IRS issue may over whelm everything. This is THE ISSUE that defines why WE are right and THEY are wrong on EVERYTHING...because in a big government world, everything is the IRS or some other big government bureaucracy.

I studied the chart, and skimmed the article. And yes, I know what the point of the article is - so perhaps foolish is too strong of a term, but I stand by the fact that the author is buying into a liberal premise about the impact of tax cuts and trying to play on the liberals’ turf.

That meme has already shifted, but Obama Care kicking in will simply NOT ALLOW the IRS issue to go away...and that stink bomb is more powerful than some pundit droning on a bout “over reach.”

I think you’re looking at the entire mass and missing the point. We don’t have to convert the mass. To win elections, looking at 2012, is simply really motivate a few more conservatives (CHECK, IRS) and turn off just a tiny percentage of Obama lo fo’s Stewart fan types to not voting (CHECK, IRS and BENGHAZI) and perhaps awaken a few to the inherent evils of bureaucratic big govt (This to be seen in the future as Obama Care “train wreck” kicks in). And oh, Obama has to be off the ballot (CHECK)

I don’t get this article. So, the people who pay most of the taxes get most of a given tax cut? Well no sh_t Sherlock. The idea that a tax cut helping jobs by definition means those who CREATE jobs get the cuts, not those who GET the jobs they would not otherwise have.

That’s not to say this cut is or is not a good policy, because I have no idea what Oklahoma tax law is like currently. What I do know is that the premise of this article is foolish.

I hate to break it to you, but the headline combined with the first line in the article do indeed imply that. At least by inference.

He has grown the government, grown the debt, grown the deficit,. and shrunk the private sector....all of which HE wanted to do.

This piece is based on an absurd assumption: that he wants to be a good “CEO” of America. He doesn’t want that, and has never wanted that. Besides getting his hand in the cookie jar, he’s otherwise pleased as punch that the American people fear and loathe the IRS and the EPA and the DOJ more than ever.

Well yes he’s all three....but a lot of folks won’t accept the first, and they might accept the second and third since the “defenders” are saying it....
