For a basic hot sauce I just use Louisiana Hot Sauce. It’s really good and doesn’t set your guts on fire.

But for that extra kick I use that 357 magnum. It is pure concentrated Hell fire.

I wouldn’t want to cook with it, even in very small amounts it’s extremely hot. A few drops too many can make food non-edible.

I am from New Orleans, and I like stuff hot! I picked up a bottle of this stuff from Firehouse Subs, and it is strictly for professional lunatics onry!

This stuff is hot enough to kill. I put a toothpick into the bottle and get a little bit on the tip and then mix it in with a plate full of red beans or spaghetti.

Couple nights ago the rim of the bottle left a smudge on my thumb, and like a fool I ate it. It is pure torture for a good 10 minutes. Took three glasses of milk to be able to tolerate the pain.

I love this stuff though, it will light up any plate of food with just a drop.

Well they are manufacturing socialists in our schools and colleges too.

Shall we shut those down as well?

Almost all entertainment has a socialist message in it, practically every single politician in the country is a socialist.

I hate to be a pessimist but, uh, it’s pretty much too late.

Might be a better chance to import those who do believe in freedom from outside this country, because they are certainly not being made inside this country.

It is a public policy issue. You lack the information to comment rationally, so all you are stuck with are platitudes and generalizations.”

I have been of a mind for a while now that the eventual outcome of a civilization is that it provides the luxury of being complacent.

We have come to a point in our own civilization where it seems like we have the time to ponder such “grave” problems as glowbull warming and transgender rights and all sorts of other useless garbage that has no bearing on anything.

And we don’t pay any attention at all to our government selling wmd material to our enemies and all sorts of other schemes that it is involved in, and this just boggles my mind.

This is why I have said what is making this all possible is, quite simply, lies. Whatever we have stood for in our past we no longer stand for, and instead we just seem to be swimming circles in a sea of bull sh!t.

And I think we are definitely going to pay a very high price for this in the near future.

“So what’s your point? Since both parties are essentially the same, what should real conservatives do and whom should they support?”

I don’t know, you tell me, your answer is as good as mine. There doesn’t seem to be much of a selection for conservatives to support in this country. Might well be that there is no solution.

And no, I don’t want to hasten the demise of the country, but the demise of the country might well occur regardless of what any of us want or don’t want.

We’ve tried voting them out, and it really doesn’t seem like an Article V convention is catching fire, and even if it did, it seems like trying to pass gun control laws for criminals to follow, so after that what’s left?

If the people of America, natural born or otherwise, don’t want to be free, then they are not going to be.

If I had to try and put my finger on the root of the problem, I’d say that many generations ago free people decided that they didn’t need to focus on fighting for freedom any longer, because they already had it, and they didn’t really bother teaching it to their children, or teaching how hard it is to get and keep, and what happened was, over a period of generations, free people created a nation of complete jack asses that know nothing at all of value or importance.

And I’m not really sure how to correct that or if it can be corrected. Maybe the best that can be hoped for is that some future free nation not follow in our footsteps. And if there is a future free nation, they should know that the left will be there right from the start trying to destroy it from within, because the blueprint for such has been written.

    Freedom.

    Self reliance.

    Individualism.

American exceptionalism, the Constitution, ShiningCity on the Hill, brother.

You know, conservatism. It’s really not that hard to articulate it if you believe in it, and the GOP clearly doesn’t and hasn’t outside of Ronald Reagan, and it’s really easy for any honest person with a brain to see.

It’s the old why vote for democrats with an R by their name when you can vote for democrats with a D by their name? Something the GOP never learns and apparently much of their base never learns either.

I’m sure you have heard people ask why does’t the GOP go out and sell their ideas and tell people what they are going to do and what they believe in, have you not?

Well the answer is they don’t have any ideas, they don’t believe in anything, and they aren’t going to do anything outside of advancing the government agenda, which is exactly what they have been doing.

But I’m sure if we elect a bunch of republicans in 2016 they will finally get around to advancing even one item of the conservative agenda...NOT!

“Ordinarily I would agree but I fear that those with another agenda having nothing to do with freedom have ruined it for those type of immigrants.”

Well I don’t doubt that is the case at all. Our government doesn’t do anything for the right reasons. It seems to be motivated by true evil, and I definitely do not trust it at all.

I’m stuck though. If you don’t mind a bit of a read, I’ll tell you a story that sticks with me.

Back in the 1990’s, my mom was driving down a street in Metairie, Louisiana during a rain storm when she noticed a number of people, men, women and children, huddled under a tree.

She, being a good Samaritan, stopped and asked them did they need a ride. They spoke no English, they were Croatians. But they did speak German, which she also speaks, so they were able to communicate.

She drove them in her van to their apartment which was about a half mile away. They became very good friends, two families from Croatia and my mom from Deutschland.

Apparently they had been displaced in Croatia by that whole ethnic cleansing thing going on over there in the 90’s. These we Christian people, but one of them, Miladin, had a face that was marked by hard, hard times. I don’t know what this man had seen, but I know it wasn’t pleasant. Super nice guy though.

They had been brought over here by Catholic charities, given a green card, an apartment for X amount of time (not long) and used furniture and help with English lessons. After a bit they would have to pick up all expenses however, and they were having trouble acclimating.

My mom with her German helped teach them English, and with her job as a recruiter helped find them jobs, though nothing special, just work to help pay the bills. Later Miladin became an electrician, and I am not sure what the other man from the other family did, I can’t recall, but he did find a good job.

She helped get their kids into private Christian schools eventually, and things were going well. She would talk to them all the time on the phone in German, and we went to their apartments a few times for holiday dinners. I can’t say I ever knew what their politics were, but it didn’t matter, they had found a home in a much safer country, and that was good.

Sadly it didn’t end as well as it started. For financial reasons, both families ended up moving to Tennessee. I think their jobs caused them to have to move, I’m not 100% sure, but what happened was their children ended up in public schools there, and it brought the lives of those kids straight down. Those schools started filling those kids heads with garbage, and it took hold real fast. Neither one of us has spoken with them since Hurricane Katrina, so I can’t say how they are doing presently, but I hope well.

So having seen that is one of the reasons that I support legal immigration. I wouldn’t want to turn those people away. Let me tell you, they came here with nothing, because nothing was more than they had where they came from. They came from a place where life is real hard, and I’m glad they did.

It is very sad indeed that our government is basically evil and has tried to turn our American systems against America, and they have been pretty much successful in that effort.

But if there is another family out there like the ones I described, then I want them to have a chance to come here. I don’t know what the solution to our scheming government is, or if there even is one. Maybe we are doomed. But some people in this world still see this country as the shining beacon of freedom, and that is a good thing.

Maybe one day that beacon goes out, because of the evil of men, but I don’t want that beacon to go out because we turned it off, because then we would know for sure that it went dark on our watch.

“I know that you are often defending abortion, and now you are defending immigration, and using the same inability to reason and see the facts.”

Just because you lack the ability to understand where I am coming from doesn’t mean that’s what I am doing, but in this conversation, yes I am defending legal immigration. It’s not something that I am opposed to, so sue me.

“You do not seem to understand that immigration is what gives the democrat party the votes to run the nation, the pre immigration Americans vote against the democrats.”

You don’t seem to understand that the democrats are running the nation even without the votes.

“Do you think the left would have passed the 1965 Immigration act and fought for immigration for 50 years, if they voted republican?”

I don’t know, but what difference does it make? We voted republican, and what we have is a complete democrat show from start to finish. The only difference between republican and democrat is that the republicans might actually be doing MORE DAMAGE to America than the democrats at this point.

“Do you ever look at the data of who votes how, and who makes up the two different parties?”

There aren’t two parties. There is government. That’s it.

“Why do you think the left knows that as immigration delivers them state after state, that in time it will get all of the states?”

What will definitely get them all states is that there is no opposition party at all.

You might be vexed over what happens to the GOP, but I’m not. I would say that the GOP is completely worthless if it wasn’t so dangerous, so I guess it at least has that negative value ;/

Haha I can’t argue with that.

“The vote is what makes modern leftism possible.”

    What drives the vote? Lies.

“What gives the left the votes? Immigration does.”

Voters who believe the lies that they have been told, pretty much the same thing that gives the GOP votes.

“That is all there is to it, without the votes the radical left dies, and the democrat party would have to start moving right again to win votes.”

The radical left is never going to die, ansel. They have been around since the dawn of time and in every civilization. What drives them is the desire to control others, and that is a very common human desire.

The reason conservatives are losing to the left is because they have become complacent, and they have been complacent for a long, long time all the while the left fights all day, every day for total control, and even when they have it, they won’t rest.

    That is their nature.

What will kill the left is truth. You know the left exists in countries that do not have votes, and they exist by way of the lie, the same way they exist here.

If conservatives gave voters, including immigrants, reasons to vote for them, then I bet they would get more votes, but conservatives are mostly silent as far as I can see, and the GOP isn’t conservative at all.

What makes modern leftism possible, especially the modern leftism that infects America, is LIES.

That’s it, ansel. LIES. Not foreigners. LIES.

As long as Americans continue their love affair with lies, then America will continue to decline.

I don’t think Cruz is worried about being honest. Walker might be, but Cruz ain’t.

    I said 1. I guess you missed where I said 1.

And, are you calling my mom a non-American, because if you are, screw you.

“Immigrants use welfare to a greater extent than the native born and they vote two to one Democrat.”

The GOP is screwing us over just as hard as the democrats do, if not even harder.
I can’t see what difference it makes who people vote for when it clearly makes no difference who we vote for.

What part of I’m not opposed to legal immigration do you not understand?

But here ansel, just for you.

    We can have one.

One legal immigrant every 10 years. How’s that?

No wait, screw that, way too many. We can have one legal immigrant every one hundred years, that way you won’t have to see anymore foreigners before you keel over.

    Sound good? Good.

Now go support any candidate that you believe is telling you the truth, because that is what I’m going to do.

Why do I need a cut off number to something I’m not opposed to?

Maybe you need a cut off number since your against it, but I’m not.

I’m opposed to illegal immigration, and my cut off number for that is 1.

Should my mom have been cut off because ansel12 said we have enough? No, I don’t think so.

    Dunno.

I am concerned with waves of illegal immigrants.

I am not going to pick or unpick my choice of presidential candidate over legal immigration.

You can if you want, I’m not going to. I’m not opposed to legal immigration so long as laws are followed and enforced.

Well maybe that is the fault of republicans for being democrats.

The GOP hasn’t given me any particular reason to support it, has it given you one?

What are we supposed to tell legal immigrants? You can only come in if you vote R? I can’t really see what difference it makes one way or the other, the Rs are just as destructive to America as the Ds are, if not more so.

But yeah, I still support legal immigration. Before I get all bent out of shape about legal immigration, I want illegal immigration stopped, halted, because I am damn sure already bent out of shape about that.

“So you celebrate the legal immigration of hundreds of thousand of Muslims into the USA?.”

Quite frankly, I am not for any muslims being allowed to immigrate here. They are insane, and I do not want them here. My government never asked me my opinion before letting them in sadly.

    “California’s legal-immigration driven change to a one-party state?”

I can’t help what California did to itself. They have always a lot loony tunes there.

It hasn’t happened to the rest of the country though where there is also legal immigration, so I tend to think it’s a California kinda thing.

However, it seems clear our government is trying the same thing with illegal immigration, and thus I do not support it.

My mom is a legal immigrant from Deutschland, and she supports Ted Cruz.

There is some really dumb stuff being said in this thread about legal immigration.

If a person goes through all the steps required by our laws and actually has something to offer this country by their presence here, why shouldn’t they be allowed to come?

I want our laws enforced, and I want these waves of illegal aliens stopped cold turkey. No country in the world allows this, and neither should we.

    But legal immigration? Yes.
