FOX debuts a new sitcom tonight called Enlisted. Before you read any further I am going to say that from a military stand-point, the premier will drive you bat-shit crazy. But, and it is a big but, the producers of Enlisted recognized that they screwed-the-pooch and are offering you a chance to tell them just how bad they sucked at the pilot (trust me it gets better as the season progresses).

I'm still trying to figure out how the New York Times missed evidence that Al Qaeda was present in Benghazi in 2012. I found clear signs less than an hour after I started working the story for the American Media Institute. The New York Times employs a vast research department. The AMI does not. I investigated the story using only basic gumshoe methods. How come I found evidence, and the New York Times did not? I'll be talking about this tomorrow on Clear Channel radio in California. You can listen in to 960 KNEW at 3 p.m. Pacific time.

Some of you may not know that Cooking With the Troops has a deeply personal stake in this war. Our own President, otherwise known as Dear Chadwick, is deployed to Afghanistan. Tonight Chad sent a note from the front. I share it here, with his permission. Take it away, Chad: My dearest friends and family, Greetings from Afghanistan! I want to wish you all a blessed and joy filled Merry Christmas!!! Tonight we celebrate the night where hope gave birth to faith! I will never forget my first Christmas away from home. It was Baghdad 2009, where the main hall...

As I reported yesterday, Christopher Stevens was lured to Benghazi by a foreign operative who hoped to leverage some sort of gain in exchange for proffered bait. I have this from trusted sources who cannot speak on the record because they are connected to U.S. intelligence. Who was the operative, and what did he offer? According to my sources, he was a popular Turkish middleman who was known in Benghazi for being able to broker goods or situations of all types. "He was a power player, very charismatic," said one intelligence source. "He was a procurer of everything. Whatever you...

Ft Belvoir in Northern Virginia is home to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center (WRNMMC) specializing in the treatment of TBI and PTS. They have some of the most incredible individuals working there. The level of committment to our Warriors is unparalleled. We knew we had to make Ft Belvoir the nexis of our Homefront Support program for our wounded, their families and the dedicated men and women who care for them.

The politics of the Afghanistan and Iraq wars is not the issue here. This is about thanking the men and women who have seen two, three or four deployments to faraway places. It’s an opportunity to show our appreciation to folks who have missed Christmases and weddings and even the births of their children so that our families can sleep safely at night.

Firm Fires Back At Blogger Allegations Over Manning Rally Press ReleaseThis week, a press release was issued (text after the jump) with details about a rally planned for March 20 in support of Pfc. Bradley Manning. Manning is being held on a Marine Corps base in Quantico, V.A. on charges that he’s responsible for turning over classified information to Wikileaks. He’s been held since July, and some have called into question his treatment while in custody, saying that Manning has been abused. State Department spokesperson P.J. Crowley resigned from his post last week over his criticism of the way Manning...

Bradley Manning P.R. Flak Admits Deliberate Lie; Refuses to Correct Deceptive Press Release Do publicists ever lie on purpose? Do they ever admit to lying, but then refuse to correct their misinformation? You be the judge. To help you make your decision, I will present evidence in the form of a dialogue between myself and an actual publicist. First the excerpt. Me: So you knew it was wrong when you sent it out? FitzGibbon Principal Publicist Naomi Seligman: Yes. Me: When are you sending out the correction? Seligman: I don't think I'll send a correction. Now for the background. As we...

Another typical code oink/NOanswer rally for a traitor. I picked Uncle Jimbo up at 1030. He was feeling a little rough, but after two bottles of XXX Vitamin Water, he was was in top form. Jimbo has a gift. He loves talking to the press and he is good. So Uncle Jimbo took point with the press and it was a thing of beauty. CNN actually gave him a few more seconds than they gave suzie. We need to give major BZ's to the Quantico Police Department. We weren't sure we would be allowed to assemble on such short notice,...

Montmorenci, IN (PRWEB) May 24, 2010 -- Not many new charities start life with experience and a proven track record and no logo, but Cooking with the Troops Inc. has done just that. Today sees the launch of a nationwide logo contest for a charity that has grown out of a program at Soldiers' Angels, Cooking with the Wounded, and out of barbecues done for the last several years at Walter Reed by "Concrete" Bob Miller. By combining these two efforts, and bringing in a strong commitment to culinary education and careers, the charity aims to support U.S. and Allied...

....And the Marine Corps. The Marine Corps that was his and grew to be mine as well. The Marine Corps we both love. The Marine Corps that I trust will always keep my beloved Cpl. Porto's memory alive for me and my daughter. The Marine Corps that continues to deliver the last tangible items, the last pieces of him left. And the tape. The last promises he left for us, the last words we can hear repeated to remember he is always with us, promises unbroken.

I received a phone call from former Marine Captain Kelly Hoag the other day, asking if I could help get the word out about a challenger for Pelosi's sock-puppet, Lloyd Doggett. Since I know Captain Hoag, having met her at the 9/12 March on DC and having had the honor of escorting her and 4 other wounded Marines during the weekend festivities, I was more than happy to lend a hand. George Morovich is mounting a campaign to unseat Doggett and give us one more voice of reason in the US House of Representatives. We need all the conservative voices...

There is little better in this world than doing some good, and especially doing some good for the troops with a good group of people. Cooking with the Wounded is now a formal program, and Phase II kicked off in high style thanks to Katy and Molly of the Yellow Bowl Bakery, who have founded their own group Bakers without Borders to do for the troops, and to Concrete Bob who brought together the 173rd ABN, the Warrior Legacy Foundation, DC Free Republic, and the grilling regulars to do quite a cookout. The result was pure Southern hospitality: grazing from...
