    (CNN) — One Ithaca College student was killed and another was injured after being stabbed during a "large fight" on the nearby Cornell University campus early Sunday in Ithaca, New York, officials from both schools said. Cornell University Police were called to the intersection in front of Olin Hall, which houses Cornell's school of chemical and biomolecular engineering, just before 2 a.m. There, they found two men had been stabbed, according to a police news release.

    A mother who was shot and killed while pushing a baby in a stroller on Chicago's South Side Friday has been identified as a cousin of Chicago Bulls star Dwyane Wade. Chicago Police said Nykea Aldridge, 32, was shot in the head and arm by two men outside an elementary school at around 3:30 p.m. local time Friday. Investigators believe the shooters were targeting a third man.

    A Philadelphia man and woman have been charged in a home invasion in Chester that left a 75-year-old man bound at the hands and feet by cords, and his 49-year-old daughter severely beaten and in critical condition. Erinn Howarth, 25, of Germantown - who is possibly the man's housekeeper - and Richard Johnson, 23, of Juniata Park, were arraigned Thursday morning on charges that include robbery, aggravated assault, burglary, and conspiracy. Both were held in the Delaware County prison on $1 million bail each.

    A New Jersey woman and an accomplice tried to kill her friend last year and succeeded months later, prosecutors said Wednesday. Police found the body of missing 41-year-old woman Tyrita Julius wrapped in a tarp and buried in the backyard of the Long Branch home of one of her killers Tuesday, according to Monmouth County officials. A man who lives there, Andre Harris, and Julius’ friend, Jennifer Sweeney, were charged with murdering her.
