The DC establishment does not want Liz. They have gotten behind Enzi, which is standard procedure for an incumbent. McCain, McConnell, etc. have gotten behind their buddy. I’m not interested in electing Cheney, since I’ve been convinced that she’s not much of a replacement. But an 18 year incumbent with a 74% conservative rating and trending downward needs to be removed from office when we get the chance. Because before long, with his trend, he will be what Thad Cochran is now, what Ted Stevens was before he was defeated, what John Warner was before he retired, etc.: a go-along, get-along guy who goes along with everything, just as he went along with Ted Kennedy on everything.

The answer to that is to remove the leadership, and by chance both the minority leader and the minority whip are up for reelection next year, McConnell and Cornyn. And I have been posting every possible story I can find to generate support for whoever is opposing them.

John Cornyn currently has two: a guy named Wyatt and Dwayne Stovall

The solution is to remove those in power that are thwarting conservatives and also to populate the senate with more conservatives by replacing incumbent republicans with conservatives and democrats with conservatives.

We are not worse off. The traitors have been smoked out and the people watched as a vindictive administration intentionally caused pain to the people.

And in the mean time, Obamacare is hung squarely and openly around all the democrats and moderate republicans’ necks.

Translation: we didn’t allow him to cave. And now he has to get the votes of his leadership and the democrats. He’s done and he knows it.

Because liberty is a constant struggle and this is the long game. Think back to the 1970’s when the democrats just rolled to victory in ‘74, then the conservatives saw the establishment do everything possible to defeat Reagan and protect Ford in ‘76. Then they saw their fight over the Panama Canal treaty go down to defeat.

Then remember that every single senator that voted for the Panama Canal treaty was defeated in the ‘78 and ‘80 cycles. Reagan won a 44 state landslide, pulling in 30 House seats and 12 senate seats with him. Then a 49 state landslide in ‘84.

One election at a time, one victory at a time. One election cycle at a time. We’ve removed Arlen Specter, Richard Lugar, Bob Bennett, Scott Brown and Olympia Snowe from the senate. We prevented Mike Castle and Charlie Crist from becoming nominees of our party, and caused Lisa Murkowski to fight for her life.

This is just the beginning.

As I’ve said many times before, the Hastert rule was designed to silence conservatives. When Hastert was speaker, the majority of the majority were still old-guard, establishment repulicans. So they were able to say “sorry little Jimmy Conservative, your proposal doesn’t have majority support so we’re not going to take that up”

But in 2006, some thirty republicans either retired or were defeated, and another thirty in 2008. Then these were replaced with conservatives in 2010.

So the majority of the majority is now conservative, so naturally the Hastert rule has been out the window for the goal is always to thwart conservatives and conservatism.

Both the president and the senate aim to sieze the power of the purse from the House, which has been the purpose of the no budget strategy all along, no doubt cooked up by Schumer and Obama years ago.

The senate has been acting as a shield for Obama “hey, the senate never passed anything so I didn’t get anything so I’m not responsible” and the president acts as a shield for the senate “hey, the president said he would veto this or that so I’m not going to bother going through the motions to pass anything”

So all pressure is put on the House, nothing happens unless they cave, and here we are.

It’s intentional and insidious.

CFG is pro-amnesty and has a number of tax and spending issues that they rate on, which McCain votes well on.

It is, however, misleading and very convenient for the politicans who claim to be conservative. That’s why I created the average, so we can have a real comparison.

Last minute cave just like last time. Cruz and Lee should deny unanimous consent in the Senate.

I’ve had the same arguments with Enzi’s protectors. I agree with some of them that Liz Cheney is not the best opponent, but frankly, I’d prefer to replace Enzi with Cheney because he’s well on his way to becoming a Thad Cochran, and then replace Cheney in six years with someone more reliablly conservative.

As far as Enzi being sufficiently conservative, his record says otherwise. The ACU props him up but his votes speak for themselves.

I disagree. Yes Graham has tons of money, but do you honestly think he can get to 50% in a 5 man race in this political climate? And he’ll have to spend a ton of his cash in TWO elections just to get the nomination.

And he’s exceedingly arrogant. He won’t be able to help himself. He thinks himself all high and mighty and the people will say “anybody else!”

The more the merrier! More republicans in the primary makes it harder for Little Lindsey to reach 50% and thus, there will be a runoff between Graham and a conservative (likely Lee Bright).

Then, we remove Lindsey from power.

Cruz and Lee don't attend, and probably could care less what McConnell and his gang are going to do, because they have their own plans and neither McConnell nor McCain know what they are so they can tell the democrats.

And If I was constantly being yelled at at meetings, I wouldn't attend either.
