The other day, an English professor (retired) showed me a story in a magazine and corrected an interesting grammatical issue he found there. Conservative radio host Chris Plante has disappeared again. Last time he disappeared many were duped and fooled with the whole WMAL Chris Plante cruise nonsense. Problem is, he was gone long before the cruise began, and came back long after it ended, and this extra disappearacne time was completely unannounced. Now he's gone again for 3 straight, unannounced days. His fill in just said, "Chris is on vacation. Well, I really don't know where he is. I guess he's on vacation." Who around here knows about radio? Is this a contract dispute? Do you normally keep disappearing around contract time?...

Chris Plante just reported on his radio show that The Viper (a rock radio station in St. Louis that CORRECTLY broke the autopsy news) is reporting that they have it on good authority that the shooting victim's accomplice in the strong arm robbery has now admitted that the gentle giant charged the cop and tried to take his gun, and that the cop will not be charged.

To recap: 1. On TUE 6/17, Plante said I will be out TOMORROW, so don't worry, I ain't been fired. 2. He was out on the 18th, 19th, and 20th. 3. His sea cruise was from 6/23 to 6/29. 4. Do you really say, I'll be out TOMORROW, if you're going to be out for the next TWELVE DAYS. 5. The cruise is over, and CP is still not on the air. What gives?

Last Tuesday, Plante said, "Just to make sure no rumors begin, I'm telling you I'll be out tomorrow, and I ain't been fired." Well, he was out WED, THU, FRI, and he's out again today. They said on the radio this morning that he's on vacation. Has anybody heard anything about this? That part about him worrying about rumors and the fact that "tomorrow" has turned into 4 days of tomorrows makes me suspicious.

The press is saying that the economy is positively 3rd world because of the horrible winter. BUT!!! I have heard AT LEAST 3 radio news stories in the last month (CBS AND ABC)saying, IN AN EFFORT TO PROTECT THE GLOBAL WARMING CULT, that THERE WAS NO COLD WINTER!!!! We in the East might have felt extra cold, but out West it was quite warm, and when you do the math, it turned out to be an absolutely, perfectly normal winter. Interesting, yes?

If I recall correctly, the gun laws in the national parks correspond to the state laws in which the park is found. Yes, no? I'm going to the GW National Forest in VA this weekend, and I'm told that there's a big "NO GUNS" sign at the entrance. This is bogus, yes? This week, instead of attacking a Hispanic senator, Marco Rubio, I will defend a Hispanic citizen, George Zimmerman, on trial for the murder of Trayvon Martin. (Zimmerman would make a better senator.) It's becoming painfully obvious why no charges were brought against Zimmerman in this case -- until Al Sharpton got involved. Just after Newtown, I went to the Nation's Gun Show in Chantilly, VA and got 4,000 round of 9mm and .45. CNN has been reporting for two hours now that the Secret Service is investigating a group of hackers who claim to have stolen Romney's tax returns from Price Waterhouse Coopers.
