Has anyone else noticed that Youtube is at it again, trying to block users who use an adblocker? The past several days have been hit and miss. About the only way I've been able to get around it is one of two ways: 1. to save videos to Watch Later, close the browser, then reopen the browser to view them, or 2. delete all cookies and cache and then log back in. But either of these two fixes are temporary because it happens almost every day now. Has anyone seen this, and have a newer fix for this? Thanks.

The chaplains say the Department of Defense continues to defy a 2023 law rescinding its Covid vaccine mandate. A healthy little Dutch girl without a proper name died 52 years ago. Scientists keep her kidney’s cells multiplying in a process similar to cancer. They perform increasing numbers of experiments on derivatives of this baby girl’s kidney cells to develop technologies that include taste-testing experiments for PepsiCo. Her vivisection forms “the backbone of the global gene therapy market.” Scientists call the baby girl HEK 293. HEK stands for “human embryonic kidney,” and 293 means she was the 293rd experiment in a...

I have never been afraid of controversial topics, and I am going to address one today. An incredibly shocking video that has gone viral on social media has been brought to my attention, and I think that someone needs to write about what happened. I went to Google News and did a search for any news stories about this particular incident, and I found zero. Hopefully that will change, because when very strange supernatural events take place they should get attention. On Sunday, Pastor J.D. Farag was preaching a message about the end times and the Great American Eclipse of...

Americans don’t get more daylight. Plants don’t enjoy an extra hour of sunshine. The only difference it makes is to harm our health. When you woke up this morning, were you groggier than usual? When the alarm sounded, were you a bear awakened in the middle of January? When you left home for work, did you grumble about the extension of darkness where just yesterday the glow of a preborn sun had been? If you answered “Yes,” congratulations! Your body was screaming that you had once again been scammed by daylight savings time (DST). DST is a fraud guarded by...

The Red Heifer, the Third Temple and End Time Prophecy “Red cows.” Hamas leaders say that was the reason why they massacred innocent Israelis on October 7th. According to the Bible, a perfect red heifer is required to cleanse the Temple and the priests. Jerusalem doesn’t have a Temple but it has the Temple Institute and it has red heifers thanks to a Texas rancher who is a Christian. Biblical explanation: In the book of Numbers chapter 19, Israel’s priests were commanded to take a perfect red heifer outside of the camp and slaughter it. Then they were to burn...

I was listening to a radio ministry called Discipleship Ministries. The late Russell Kelfer is the speaker. He went to his reward around 2000, but his ministry lives on. Today's message is called "And Every Eye Shall See Him." It covers the last 3 1/2 years of the Tribulation, and I thought it so appropriate given world conditions being what they are. The audio message is about 33 minutes, but once you start listening it's hard to stop. He's that good. If you have a chance, give a listen. I think it will speak to you. God bless.

Does America’s freedom and liberty last only as long as its morality? In addition to establishing a representative republic with all sorts of checks and balances to protect against the biblically defined evil nature of Man, our Founding Fathers repeatedly expressed the belief that Christian morality was absolutely essential for both the preservation of liberty and the stability of law. They emphasized this crucial point in their writings over and over again: Consider, for example, Samuel Adams who served as Governor of Massachusetts, was a signer of the Declaration of Independence, and was the organizer of the Boston Tea Party....

Dutch health technology company Philips will not sell new devices to treat sleep apnea in the U.S. in the coming years as it works to comply with a settlement with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced on Monday. The agreement followed the recall of millions of breathing devices and ventilators used to treat sleep apnea in 2021 because of concerns that foam used to reduce noise from the devices could degrade and become toxic, carrying potential cancer risks. Philips said it had reached what is known as a consent decree that spells out the improvements it needs to make...

To glimpse the devastating consequences which can stem from swallowing a lie, look no further than the lowly caterpillar. While munching its merry way along a plant, a caterpillar may happen upon a leaf that looks like a perfectly sumptuous snack. But the caterpillar doesn’t know that one of its most insidious enemies, the tachinid fly, has already visited that leaf—and left behind a clutch of teeny, tiny eggs. Unwittingly, the caterpillar scarfs down the eggs along with the leaf. Now the havoc begins to unfurl. The eggs hatch into larvae, which begin to consume the caterpillar. On the outside,...

Good afternoon fellow Freepers. I got a doozy of a problem I'm hoping that someone has a fix for. It seems that Microsoft Outlook, no matter the version (and I have 2010, 2016 and 2019), won't download remote content anymore. Thunderbird will, but Outlook will not. Every time I get an email with an image, I get an error message that says, "The linked image cannot be displayed. The file may have been moved, renamed or deleted. Verify that the link points to the......" I have been all over the internet, used three different search engines, and all of the...

Good afternoon everyone. I hope everyone is gearing up for the Thanksgiving holiday and ready to have a great time. I wanted to keep this post short but I wanted to seek your opinions about supplements for treating Long Covid. As many of you know I contracted Covid and pneumonia early last year, and developed Long Covid late last year which resulted in me having to retire this past spring. I have purchased several supplements over the past two years that I/we were told could possibly help treat the symptoms of Covid-19 & Long Covid, but which never really helped....

Turkish police used tear gas and water cannon as hundreds of people at a pro-Palestinian rally on Sunday tried to storm an air base that houses U.S. troops, hours before U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken was due in Ankara for talks on Gaza.

The experiment is meant to urge users to disable their ad blockers or subscribe to YouTube Premium. YouTube is looking to take a more aggressive approach in preventing viewers from using ad blockers while watching videos on its platform. As BleepingComputer reports, people have been posting screenshots on social networks like Reddit that show a pop-up notice warning them that their player will be blocked after three videos. The warning says YouTube will block their ability to play videos on the platform unless they disable their ad blocker or add the website to their white list. "Ads allow YouTube to...

I wanted to get folks opinion on this. I've seen this product advertised many places, but I wondered if it really works. I've taken some supplements, off and on, for Covid since mid 2021. None of them kept me from contracting Covid, and none of them stopped me from developing Long Covid, which I still suffer from and probably will for months/years to come. I had to retire because of it. The ad goes as follows: Spike Support Formula contains all-natural, non-GMO, scientifically-supported ingredients: Nattokinase is a proteolytic enzyme with fibrinolytic (anti-clotting) effects, that may maintain a healthy immune system....

Trevor Bauer, the former Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher who won the National League Cy Young Award in 2020, and a woman who accused him of beating and sexually assaulting her in 2021 have settled their legal dispute, his attorneys said Monday. "Trevor Bauer and Lindsey Hill have settled all outstanding litigation," Jon Fetterolf and Shawn Holley, Bauer’s attorneys, said in a statement. "Both of their respective claims have been withdrawn with prejudice, effective today. Mr. Bauer did not make — and never has made — any payments to Ms. Hill, including to resolve their litigation. "With this matter now at...

Good morning all. I got a FReepmail from Metmom this morning asking that a prayer thread be started for her and her family due to a death in the family. As per her message: I got word this morning from my sister that my brother died last night. He called 911 in medical distress and when the paramedics got there they could not resuscitate him. We’ll be heading in to be with my sister in a day or so. My other brother will be with her and she has a great support network of friends. My sister is saved. The...

Good evening fellow Freepers. This is going to be an unusual posting. Long and short, I am recently retired, and I've been looking for someplace to retire. I currently live in central Indiana, and I've been looking here but I'm not finding much. With the current housing market being the disaster it is, it's really hard to find someplace else to live. I know this problem is everywhere so I know Indiana is not the only state where people are suffering housing issues, but it also seems like there is a huge racket going on in Indiana to steal from...

Good morning fellow Freepers. I wanted to take this opportunity to pick your brains. I am looking for suggestions on where to shop for prepper supplies. Most websites want to sell you a huge bucket of stuff, most of which I'd probably never use. What I am looking for instead is a website (besides Amazon of course) where I could go to in order to purchase what I want to acquire. For instance, I can't find any place that will sell individual packets of dried milk, or crackers, stuff like that. The reason I am asking for help is because...

And the women answered one another as they played, and said, Saul hath slain his thousands, and David his ten thousands. — 1 Samuel 18:7 Have you ever tried to do your best at something, but it seemed like everyone was only focused on someone else? Maybe you were making something, but it seemed that the focus was on someone who made it better. Or perhaps you were completing a task and were reminded that someone else did it more quickly. There are times these types of comparisons are made accidentally. The person did not necessarily mean to do it,...

Good evening fellow Freepers. I'm in search of some computer assistance with Linux Mint and accessing a Windows network. In times past, whenever I programmed Linux on a computer, I never had problems getting it to interface with my Windows network. That all changed in recent weeks/months, apparently. Now, whenever I try to access a Windows network with a Linux machine, I get this error: Unable to mount location Failed to retrieve share list from server: No such file or directory If you look at the discussion going on at the link, I've tried almost everything suggested, and then some....
