Amen. I have seen it happen in my lifetime. Used to go with my grandmother on Friday evenings to collect rent on her duplex in a nicely kept and safe area of town populated mostly by blacks. We never felt unsafe or unwelcome, and almost always sat down for a glass of tea with the renters - who were married and mom stayed home.
