The CHAZ medics are located inside of CHAZ. They ran to the victims, then someone brings a car to them through one of the few barriers that can move. But in the excitement they couldn’t figure out what road to go down. Watch the video. You can seem them, it’s keystone medics.

Seattle Police Chief Carmen Best confirmed later Monday morning that both victims of the shooting were Black males. Best said the second person fighting for his life in the hospital is a 14-year-old child.

Best spoke in front of the East Precinct as protesters interrupted her yelling “Black lives matter.”

The Seattle Police Department said officers were investigating a shooting near 12 Avenue and Pike Street, where two people were reported injured.

That corner is about two blocks away from Cal Anderson Park, where protesters initially camped out in tents to occupy the area first referred to as the Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone, or CHAZ.

The encampment has become more difficult to manage, drawing violence and a large homeless population since the onset of the occupation three weeks ago.

City efforts to dismantle the CHOP were thwarted Friday when a protester laid down in the street to block Seattle Department of Transportation crews and heavy machinery from removing barricades around the occupied zone. Crews left after two hours without removing the barricades.

Negotiations between city leadership and organizers over the weekend did not prove fruitful, as hundreds of protesters have reportedly refused to leave the Capitol Hill area.

Andre Taylor, who has fought for police reform since his brother was shot and killed by Seattle police in 2016, says CHOP’s armed “security” responded to a threat in the exact same way police would have – with deadly force. He questions whether that undermines their message.

This is not the first shooting linked to the CHOP. The first fatality was recorded on June 20 when a 19-year-old protester was shot around 2:30 a.m. near Cal Anderson Park on 10th Avenue and East Pine Street inside the area referred to as the CHOP. Another man was injured in the incident.

“Officers attempted to locate a shooting victim but were met by a violent crowd that prevented officers’ safe access to the victims,” Seattle Police Department said in a press release at the time.

“Officers were later informed that the victims, both males, had been transported to Harborview Medical Center by CHOP ‘medics,’” it continued. “Officers responded to Harborview and were informed that one of the victims, a 19-year-old male, had died from injuries.”

The death prompted Seattle Mayor Jenny Durkan to announce last week the city would begin efforts to dismantle the CHOP, asking organizers to convince protesters to disperse to avoid police intervention.

A 17-year-old was shot in the arm around 10 p.m. on June 21 near Cal Anderson Park.

“To ensure the safety of medical personnel, police staged with Seattle Fire at the edge of the CHOP area and were gathering information about where the shooting victim was located when they learned he had been transported in a private vehicle to Harborview Medical Center,” a police press release said.

He has since been released from the hospital and declined to speak with detectives.

A man in his 30s was shot early June 23. Police received multiple 911 calls around 4:30 a.m. to report someone had been shot in the 1100 block of East Denny Way.

“Officers and Seattle Fire Department medics staged nearby and met the victim outside the area known as the Capitol Hill Occupied Protest (CHOP),” a police press release said.

“The victim refused to provide any information about the circumstances surrounding the shooting or a suspect description to officers. Medics transported the victim to Harborview Medical Center for treatment of a gunshot wound to the calf.”

Seattle Mayor Jenny Durkan seeks sanctuary in black church.

Afraid to meet with the domestic terrorist groups who have taken over her city, BLM and Antifa, Mayor Durkan is taking cover inside the First AME Church today, June 26, hoping that will be a safe space to talk with these occupiers. At 3:45 pm the NOT peaceful protestors were tweeting that they were “currently meeting with the Mayor.” The occupiers ordered the SPD and city Department of Transportation workers out of the zone this morning when they arrived to clear them out. SPD and DOT obeyed them. Before they left a representative of the Mayor promised them that if the city did come back and remove the barriers, in the CHAZCHOP Zone, so cars and people could use them, that they would leave the barriers around the Seattle Police Department East Precinct, so the terrorists could “keep the precinct. The precinct was abandoned on June 8 when violent mobs and the Mayor ordered them to leave. Tweets below from #seattleprotest.

The Monuments Men: Missing In Action June 19, 2020

I yearn for the days when countries pulled together at a time of war to protect art, to prevent the destruction of history and culture. Remember The ‘Monuments Men’?

“Prior to the U.S. entrance to the war, American art professionals were looking for ways to protect European art and monuments from being stolen by the Nazis or from being destroyed during the war. President Franklin D. Roosevelt created the American Commission for the Protection and Salvage of Artistic and Historic Monuments in War Area.” A group of men and women from 13 nations, most of whom volunteered for service in the American government’s Monuments, Fine Arts and Archives unit, risked their lives to uncover 1,000 hidden troves that held over 5 million pieces of art and culture stolen from people and institutions all over the world”(1) (2)

The Smithsonian Channel has a good video on this effort.(3)

There were also many museum directors, curators, artists, architects and archivists, who went to great lengths to crate, move and hide massive paintings, sculptures and artifacts in an effort to protect art collections from being destroyed or plundered. In an effort to save as much of the culture as they could.

We are at war. The Nazis and Fascists have returned. Black Lives Matter (BLM ) has declared war on America. Our cities are burning, our police force is under attack, the very foundations of our nation are under attack, our Constitution is under attack, our art, our history, our culture are all suffering from this scourge known as BLM. (4)

Across our country, wherever these race baiting, violent thugs think they find it, which is everywhere, no place is safe, (hear that Smithsonian?) BLM et al are destroying statutes, paintings and artifacts they deem as racist. (5) Art work is even being removed from the White House so as not to offend their delicate sensibilities. However, if their “art”, representing their long six year old history and culture, is destroyed, it is a sad day.(6) (btw by a gang of mostly minority looters)

President Trump we call on you to reinstate the American Commission for the Protection and Salvage of Artistic and Historic Monuments Act. If you can’t find any museum directors, curators, artists, architects and archivists, willing to choke on their own hypocrisy and stand up to BLM et al , there are millions of other Americans willing to volunteer. Maybe George Clooney could lead the charge. The preservation of art and culture used to be important to him. But maybe he only champions the preservation of art and culture in parts of the world where slavery was never a part of their history. Like Europe.

Of course this post is satire based on more than a grain of truth. Direct quote from Mayor Durkan yesterday. "The Seattle Police Department will dispatch to respond to significant life-safety issues in the area. The Seattle Police Department’s definition of life-safety issues may include an active shooter incident, an assault, a structure fire, significant medical emergency (i.e. heart attack, stroke, trauma) and other incidents that threaten a person’s life safety."  Does this sound like a full service police department? Would a minor assault be included in "life safety"?

To be clear, I would clarify the article I wrote, ‘BLM, Riots and the Honeymoon Phase’, to say that BLM bore responsibility for the murder of three cops. Three cops were dead in the wake of their riots. Linda Jordan
