  • CDC report card shows a rise in STDs across the nation, especially in men

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – This year’s STD report card from the Centers for Disease Control is in, and it doesn’t bring good news. The number of cases of syphilis, chlamydia and gonorrhea are up. Reported cases of three STDs, chlamydia, gonorrhea, and syphilis, have increased for the first time since 2006. The report found that the highest proportion of chlamydia and gonorrhea cases were in people between 15 and 29 years of age. Most syphilis cases were in people 20 to 29 years old. Here in Erie County, Health Commissioner Gail Burstein says the scariest jump is in cases of...
  • Is there anyplace left for Christians to shop?

Well, it’s that time again – time to get out the Christmas list and start hitting the stores. The problem is – what stores? For any Christian who wants to spend hard-earned dollars with family-friendly, Christian-affirming retailers, restaurants and service providers, the list is growing shorter all the time. I stopped shopping at Macy’s in 2011 after learning about the retailer’s grossly unjust policy against women. Macy’s management said “yes” to a transsexual young man’s demand to change in the women’s dressing room and rejected a Christian employee’s attempt to block his inappropriate access, even firing her because of her...

MADISON, Wis. (AP) – The national debate over how to accommodate transgender students in public schools is playing out in a Wisconsin state Assembly hearing. Republican Rep. Jesse Kremer spoke Thursday at an Education Committee hearing in support of a bill that opponents say would be a violation of federal law. The bill would prohibit transgender public school students in Wisconsin from using the bathroom or locker room assigned to the gender with which they identify. Kremer says the bill does not violate federal law, but instead protects the privacy and safety of all students.

Even if Trump supported a database for Muslims, so what? I know he didn't, a reporter put words into his mouth to push a false media narrative. But let's say Trump does support an actual database on Muslims, be it refugees or those already here. After all the spying on American citizens, their phone records, and leftists support of gun registration (the SAFE Act in NY is a form of database), are all of a sudden we are to believe that leftists care about civil liberties? Can anyway see how leftists are up in arms over a database on Muslims,...

To cleanse the palate, via the Free Beacon, what I want to know is how this interview came about. Did her group actually … volunteer this person as their best spokesman for a one-on-one on fiscal policy with a business journalist? Or did one of Cavuto’s bookers meet her somewhere and realize that she’d make the perfect patsy for a segment aimed at showing how unmoored from economic reality Generation Bern is? All I could think of watching this was Apollo Creed’s trainer screaming, “Throw the damn towel.” Although it’s not Cavuto who sounds a little Russian here, is it?

Ann Coulter made a guest appearance on The View to promote her latest book Adios, America: The Left’s Plan to Turn Our Country Into a Third World Hellhole. Since Coulter has built an entire career on the shock value of her political opinions, it is not surprising that this interview was filled with controversial statements about immigrants, and a questionable presentation of United States history. A couple minutes into the interview, host Ana Navarro challenged Coulter’s views about immigrants by asking if her family immigrated to America. Coulter responded to Navarro’s question by stating that she is actually a Native...

All kids can be a little selfish, but according to a new study, nonreligious children are more generous than their religious peers. The study looked at kids from China, Jordan, South Africa, Turkey, Canada and the U.S.; and compared Christian, Muslim and nonreligious children. All of the kids were put through a series of tests to judge their behavior. First, kids were given stickers and instructions to keep some, and then allocate some to classmates that weren't there. Nonreligious kids gave more than Christian and Muslim kids.
