Some parents are frustrated by proposed schedule changes for Seattle Public School students. “I find this really heartbreaking,” Corinne Crabs said. The district wants to add 20 minutes to the school day by starting school 10 minutes earlier and ending 10 minutes later. On top of that, it’s proposing a change from a three tier to a two tier system, which means her kids, in high school and middle school, wouldn't get out until almost four in the afternoon.

State and county health officials have confirmed nine people have been hospitalized, including possibly a 16-year-old. Five cases were first reported on May 5. This week four more people have become sick. CBS News reports a tenth person is being tested after showing similar symptoms related to the rare and potentially fatal illness.

That continued until Lima-Marin was convicted of armed robbery and flagged for deportation in 2000.

A Minnesota judge has ruled that Prince's six siblings are the heirs to his estate. In a ruling made public Friday, Carver County District Judge Kevin Eide declared that Prince died without a will and that his sister, Tyka Nelson, and five half-siblings are his heirs. There are people who filed appeals after their claims of heirship were rejected. Eide says that if the appellate courts send those cases back to him, he'll still fully consider them. Eide also says Prince's assets won't be distributed without a formal court order and that nothing will be distributed that might adversely affect...

MALDEN, Mass. — The Massachusetts Attorney General's Office ordered a Malden charter school to immediately stop punishing students for wearing hairstyles the school said violated its dress code. In a four-page letter sent to the Mystic Valley Regional Charter School, the attorney general's office called the code discriminatory and unfairly enforced. The office said the school's policy "included a number of prohibitions that are either unreasonably subjective or appear to effectively single out students of color." The American Civil Liberties Union of Massachusetts filed a complaint Monday with the state’s education department calling for the elimination of a policy that...

"This was a huge mistake," said Cranley. "It's not done intentionally. It's human error, but the buck stops with me."

My fellow women sisters, what just happened today in France is a big blow (no pun intended) for our cause. A total travesty. Please join me in sisterhood for a women's rights march on the famed Avenue des Champs-Élysées. We are going to take back our vaginas from the oppressive supporters of Macron who defeated Le Pen today. Le Pen did not break the glass ceiling today, thanks to all the misogynist, vagina-grabbing men who voted for Macron.
