He’s already clarified his clumsy remarks. Nothing he said in either the terrorist NOR the abortion question is different that what he’s stated before AND what we know of him.

Terrorists: Cain just stated that he would consider it. Agreed, it’s not the black/white answer some would like, but he did not say he would release 100 terrorists for 1 of ours. He just said he would consider it. That comes from his CEO background of looking at all options. Agreed, it is politically rough around the edges, but that will become polished. Expect more of these types of answers until he gets more schooled on how to phrase an answer that will play in the 10 second sound bite media.

Pro-life: He said specifically that it would be up to the family to decide what was best in the instance of rape/incest, and how those numbers are so statistically small anyway. What was plain in the entire conversation he was having was that he is PRO-LIFE, period. I have a feeling, however, he would bend and allow the families to decide in those rare cases. I have no issue with that.

Opponents in the Republican race and the Democrats are just trying to find wedge issues with Cain and his supporters.
