  • MH370: Oil slick not linked to missing jet, Australians say

    Theory number two.

If you draw a line from the last known position where the plane changed direction, and the location registered by radar south of Phuket, and the island of Kudahuvadoo where many people saw a low flying jumbo jet, and continue to extend that line and you end up in Somalia just south of Mogadishu.

. The plane was SEEN flying very low over Kudahuvadhoo (Dhivehi: one of the inhabited islands of Dhaalu or South Nilande Atoll in the Maldives. It is the capital of the atoll.

“Residents of the remote Maldives island of Kuda Huvadhoo in Dhaal Atoll have reported seeing a “low flying jumbo jet” on the morning of the disappearance of the Malaysia Airlines flight MH370.

Whilst the disappearance of the Boeing 777 jet, carrying 239 passengers has left the whole world in bewilderment, several residents of Kuda Huvadhoo told Haveeru on Tuesday that they saw a “low flying jumbo jet” at around 6:15am on March 8.

They said that it was a white aircraft, with red stripes across it – which is what the Malaysia Airlines flights typically look like.

Eyewitnesses from the Kuda Huvadhoo concurred that the aeroplane was travelling North to South-East, towards the Southern tip of the Maldives – Addu. They also noted the incredibly loud noise that the flight made when it flew over the island.

“I’ve never seen a jet flying so low over our island before. We’ve seen seaplanes, but I’m sure that this was not one of those. I could even make out the doors on the plane clearly,” said an eyewitness.

“It’s not just me either, several other residents have reported seeing the exact same thing. Some people got out of their houses to see what was causing the tremendous noise too.”

Mohamed Zaheem, the Island Councilor of Kuda Huvadhoo, said that the residents of the island had spoken about the incident.

A local aviation expert told Haveeru that it is “likely” for MH370 to have flown over the Maldives. The possibility of any aircraft flying over the island at the reported time is extremely low, the expert added

    Exactly.

    Theory number one.

The plane is at Diego Garcia.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diego_Garcia

The United States Navy operates Naval Support Facility (NSF) Diego Garcia, a large naval ship and submarine support base, military air base, communications and space-tracking facility, and an anchorage.

How could the U.S. hide a 777 and all those passengers there without anyone saying something?

“All the inhabitants of Diego Garcia were relocated to other islands in the Chagos Archipelago or to Mauritius or Seychelles by 1971 to satisfy the requirements of a UK/United States Exchange of Notes signed in 1966 to depopulate the island when the United States constructed a base upon it”

“Between 1971 and 2001, the only residents on Diego Garcia were UK and United States military personnel and civilian employees of those countries.”

“UK represents the Territory internationally. A local government as normally envisioned does not exist.”

“British Parliament announced that it would launch an investigation of continued allegations of a prison camp on Diego Garcia, which it claimed were twice confirmed by comments made by Retired United States Army General Barry McCaffrey. On July 31, 2008, an unnamed former White House official alleged that the United States had imprisoned and interrogated at least one suspect on Diego Garcia during 2002 and possibly 2003.”

“....credible evidence exists supporting allegations that ships serving as black sites have used Diego Garcia as a base.”

“Diego Garcia is rumored to have been one of the locations of the CIA’s black sites. Several groups claim that the military base on Diego Garcia has been used by the United States government for transport of prisoners involved in the controversial extraordinary rendition program,”

“Diego Garcia may be identified as an ETOPS (Extended Range Twin Engine Operations) emergency landing site (en route alternate) for flight planning purposes of commercial airliners. This allows twin-engine commercial aircraft (such as the Airbus A330, Boeing 767 or Boeing 777) to make theoretical nonstop flights.......”

“.... the United States received permission for a $400 million expansion of the military facilities on Diego Garcia consisting of two parallel 12,000-foot-long (3,700 m) runways, expansive parking aprons for heavy bombers, 20 new anchorages in the lagoon, a deep water pier, port facilities for the largest naval vessels in the American or British fleet, aircraft hangars, maintenance buildings and an air terminal, a 1,340,000 barrels (213,000 m3) fuel storage area, and billeting and messing facilities for thousands of sailors and support personnel.”

    1. A super secret Black site literally in the middle of nowhere, with long enough runways and large enough hangers to accommodate a 777.

    2. Only U.S. or U.K. personnel, no locals, no local government. Can a super secret base keep a super secret?

    3. It is in the range of flight 370 and the altered flight path

    4. The plane was SEEN flying very low over Kudahuvadhoo (Dhivehi: one of the inhabited islands of Dhaalu or South Nilande Atoll in the Maldives. It is the capital of the atoll.

Cruz will not run. He knows that he is ineligible to the office of president or vice president.

I like CANADA, been there many times. I drink Canadian beer. I want my president to be born in AMERICA, not CANADA!

It’s bad enough that we allowed someone born in Kenya to become president, but we can’t continue to bastardize the office of president by allowing ineligible people to continue to occupy that office. Even when they are good guys and we agree with them on issues.

Primary opponents will make it an issue, Democrats will make it an issue. It will be a HUGH distraction.

Is it not fundamental that the president be born in the U.S.A.? Even low information voters will understand that the president needs to be born here.

Ted Cruz is a great American. I love the guy, he’s just not eligible. I wish he was.

Not so sure this would help. First of all, guns would have to be in a lock box, probably also having a trigger lock.

Then the ammunition would have to be stored separately, in another lock box. It would require TWO pilots to turn their lockbox keys at exactly the right moment to open.

Then they would have to check the manual, explaining the correct procedure for loading and firing the weapon.

No offence to pilots, these would be FAA regulations.

True, but not the whole story. Who owned those dogs? Were they trained for illegal fighting? Were they treated badly on purpose to make them mean watch dogs?

It’s not the breed. It’s what has been done TO them by sub-humans. Most Pit Bulls live in loving homes with families and never bite anyone.

On the program “Animal Cops NY” they adopted out rescued Pit Bull after Pit Bull. Some could not be adopted as they had been fighting dogs. The vast majority were just in need of rescue. They made fine pets for many families.

It’s NOT the dog breed, it’s the HUMAN breed that makes them that way.

If they trained and fought Poodles instead of Pit Bulls, you would have the same results and you would all be about banning Poodles.

    Rand Paul on the issues:

The solution to the government’s fiscal crisis must begin by cutting spending in all areas, particularly in those areas that can be better run at the state or local level. Every year since being in the Senate, I’ve introduced a comprehensive budget that balances within 5 years. The purpose is not only to show that it can be done, but it also demonstrates that when the size of government is reduced through reform, resources can be more efficiently prioritized without relying on tax increases.

I do not support any proposed gun control law which would limit the right to gun ownership by those who are responsible, law-abiding citizens.

I am 100% pro-life. I believe life begins at conception and that abortion takes the life of an innocent human being. It is the duty of our government to protect this life as a right guaranteed under the Constitution. For this reason, I introduced S. 583, the Life at Conception Act on March 14, 2013. This bill would extend the Constitutional protection of life to the unborn from the time of conception.

I want to work in the Senate to secure our border immediately. In addition, I support the creation of a border fence and increased border patrol capabilities.

I believe that the primary Constitutional function of the federal government is national defense, bar none. I believe that when we must go to war, we must have a Congressional declaration of war as the Constitution mandates, and we fight to win. And we must fight only under U.S. command and not the UN.

My 2014 budget proposal, A Clear Vision to Revitalize America, would accelerate domestic resource development on public lands. For two generations, it has been the policy of the United States government to deny its citizens access to the energy resources they own. Either these public land holdings need to be sold off to the states to manage, or the government should unlock its massive mineral wealth by fostering a process of efficient, safe and effective energy development.

I am working to reassert the rights and privileges of the 50 states and over 300 million Americans. The Federal Government must return to its constitutionally enumerated powers and restore our inalienable rights

I also seek to prevent the Department of Education from regulating private and homeschooling options and will fight to keep the Federal Government’s hands out of these promising alternatives to conventional public education.

It is time to put an end to the profession of “career politician,” and impose limits on how many times a member is allowed to seek re-election.

Many gas water heaters today have a fan to vent directly to the outside as more and more homes no longer have chimneys.
Also the obvious “electric water heaters”.

Also not everyone has city water, everyone with a well pump knows that when the power goes out, the water quickly runs out.

So if you have a tankless heater, you will have a lot of company being without hot water.

The first thing a”rookie” plumber learns is that “Hot’s on the left, cold’s on the right, $hit” flows downhill, and payday is on Friday.”

The second thing he learns is that there is no such thing as a “hot” water heater. It’s a “water heater”. You don’t heat “hot” water.

The third thing he learns is that there is no such thing as a “monkey wrench”. It’s a “pipe wrench”, plumbers aren’t monkeys.

  • What happened to 2ndDivisionVet?

At your link, the eighth thread down (http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-gop/3131841/posts), is likely what broke the camel’s back. He posted an article from “The Daily Caller” http://dailycaller.com/2014/03/10/why-rand-paul-will-win-the-2016-primaries-and-the-presidency/#ixzz2vcgMdLF6

In it the author comments on several likely candidates and promotes his favorite, Rand Paul. The author berates Ted Cruz.

2ndDivisionVet did not write the offending Cruz remarks, but did quote them. This may have something to do with his absence. Just a guess.

I would suggest that in promoting your particular favorite candidate, that you refrain from attacking other candidates. While, at this point, I support Rand Paul, I will not attack other conservative candidates. Tearing them down doesn’t build your guy up. Let’s not beat up on someone who might end up our nominee. (Mitt Romney comes to mind).

I watched his Berkeley appearance and I was very impressed. He seems as intelligent as Newt, without the bombast. Paul thinks things through and has plans. While I may not agree with everything he proposes, I am willing to hear him out. He has reasons for his positions and believes what he says. I see all the distortions about his positions to downright lies. If you want to know where he stands on something, just ask him. Read what he has said (in context of course).

I have found no deal breakers as of yet. The more I hear, the more impressed I get.

We should not be involved in this AT ALL.

There are two sides in this conflict. Bad & Worse, but which is which? The MSM & Obama say it’s the LRA that is to blame for EVERYTHING, could they be wrong? Could be.

  • How much weight should our opposition to abortion carry in our voting decisions?

I am generally not a “one issue” voter, but on abortion I have to draw the line. I would never, knowingly, vote for a pro choice, pro abortion candidate.

I am a hardliner, in that the ONLY exception I believe in, is for the LIFE of the mother. Not “health”, not “injury”, only LIFE.

I will still vote for the right candidate who is pro life with the standard exceptions.

    You may want to reconsider

“.......ninety percent practice sex with their partner in anal sex. This is biological suicide since the rectum was not designed to accommodate a thrusting penis or sex toys.
During such activities the anal wall is torn and bruised, giving sperm and germs direct access to the blood stream. Since the anal wall is only one cell thick, sperm quickly penetrates the wall, causing massive immunological damage to
the body’s T and B cell defense mechanisms. This doesn’t happen during vaginal sex because of the multi-layered construction of the vagina.”
