This guy, if one will research, may just be an agent provocateur for the left and mainstream press to portray "evangelical" Christians as a part of.

Do a little research on the left's methodology.[wink]

There are a ton of churches here in Tejas, but I still haven't come across an "Evangelical Church." Are they denominational????

1st Cor. 2:7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:

Which is, of course, praying in tongues.

With Christian television going around the world via satellites, those never exposed to the false doctrines that praying in tongues is somehow wrong--ARE PRAYING IN TONGUES, LOL, thereby discovering it does work towards our glory, as Paul proclaimed in that verse :>).

Gotta watch out: rhetorical questions sometimes kickback with tough Truth :-)!!

    Just prove me wrong:
Just send $10, 20 50 bucks to TBN, Osteen, or Warren--better yet, to some televanglist you DESPISE, "knowing" that is silly, stupid or whatever.

Onehundred fold for $10 = $1000; $20 = $2000; $50 = $5000. Then, have your excuses handy as to how you got so "lucky."

[An aside: it's just as nerve-wracking when you've expirenced the 100x time after time, because the methods used are so unexpected to get your harvests to you. My sowing is into five figures and that takes FAITH, LOL!!!!]

"So which church do you think is doing to most to meet the needs of the poor?"

Answer in the short future is: NONE!

With God raising the Body of Christ to the next level, through the Trinity Broadcasting Network, Lakewood Church, and Saddleback Church, for examples, people sowing into those Godly institutions will begin reaping huge harvests and the reapers will then be able to help the poor.

The poor will then "learn how to fish" through their donations and then the former poor can begin raising up other poor and on and on the Gospel goes.

Meanwhile, those franchise churches you named will die of old age, having outlived their original destiny.

Therefore, when a church begins to dwindle, lose its power, and turn dull and drab in its witness, it needs desperately to get back into the spirit, expectation, knowledge and teaching of the book of Acts. In this book, the principles of the exchanged life -- "Not I, but Christ" -- is dramatically unfolded.

Negative--let the dead bury their dead as God is indeed taking us to His next level with CHristian television networks and the media labeled "mega-churches" [spit].

Instead of franchised Sunday morning, Sunday, and Wed. night businesses, the Lord has worshipers congregating 24/7/365 with cell groups performing indeed like the church of the Book of Acts.

The group of Comanche Indians from the Lawton area were selected for special duty in the U.S. Army to provide the Allies with a language that the Germans could not decipher.

I had business around the Lawton area yesterday and wife went with me and I told a story about Geronimo in that area [the Apache war chief].

My wife chimed in to tell them I was one of Quanah's decendants [Quanah Parker, half-breed, last great warrior chief of the Comanches].

Here is what it all means: The lockdown of the common man has come to an abrupt end. Many of the limitations your ancestors endured for centuries are now fading into the bleak and brutal past.

    That was inspired, indeed.
