I am so grateful for your support in the past yet again find myself reaching out for your support. I am undergoing a CT scan tomorrow, Tues 1/9/07 at 8:00 a.m. central standard time for spots on my liver that seem to have enlarged between September and December. I have underwent chemo and have been off since July '06 (praise God) but it seems the spots may have gotten larger. I humbly ask for your prayers in this matter - no need to respond back to me - God will hear you. I thank you for your support since this...

I have been undergoing chemo for cancer for over a year and the doctor said (in June) that according to the May 30th CT scan that it had been arrested. We did two more months of chemo, and then stopped. Monday morning I went in for a follow up CT scan and I get the results today when I meet with the doctor. Anyone who has gone through this knows what I'm dealing with. I was on vacation with my 3 sisters in DC last week and this was weighing heavy on my mind. I would appreciate your prayers on...
  • Need help/info on something I saw on Fox News Channel

    Fox News Channel
OK you Fox News Channel watchers and/or NYC restaurant goers - A couple of months ago I saw a story on Fox News Channel about injured military vets from Iraq that were recovering from some major injuries (I believe) in New York City. Some of the injuries they suffered were quite disfiguring, and what the story further related was that they were able to go to a nearby restaurant and enjoy drinks and a meal among themselves, courtesy of the restaurant owner. I also seem to recall that there was a private entrance or some other means by which they...

Message from human resources where I work about the son of a co-worker: :I received a call from Neil this afternoon with an update on Kyle. It seems the aggressive treatment he received has not been successful. The cancer has spread to Kyle's pelvic area, kidney, (he only has 1) and there are more tumors on his lungs. It has not spread to his brain. The Dr.'s informed Kyle the tumors were winning. Kyle took the news in stride and optimistically told his Physician's he still will beat the cancer! His Dr.'s are looking for yet another experimental drug/procedure to...

Please help! I just received this email from a co-worker regarding Kyle, the young man I emailed you about a couple of weeks ago. My co-worker wrote: --- Neil's son who has been fighting Cancer for sometime now, has just found out that there is not much more they can do for him. The treatments are not working. The doctor has given him approx. 30 days to live. There is an herbal medicine they are going to try yet. Please pray for this poor boy. He has been through so much in the last two years and with such a...

There is a young man, Kyle P. who desperately needs your prayers. He is the son of a co-worker, who has been fighting cancer for the past 2 years or more. He has undergone lots of treatment and thought things were in the clear, when they just found out that the cancer has come back very aggressively in several areas. This young man was prepared to enter high school this fall, but now he will be undergoing a very strong chemo treatment plan in Milwaukee. Please contact your other prayer warriors and join me in praying for Kyle and his...

Giznort here asking for your help tomorrow, one more time. The 5" mass (probably bigger by now) on my ovary and both ovaries will be removed tomorrow morning. If you could take the time to say a prayer, I'd appreciate it. I'm nervous about getting put under and not coming back up, and what they find once they open me up. I know these are things that are out of my control, and that's why I need your help. I've gotten great peace of mind from those of you who've prayed on my behalf last Tuesday when I was having...

Thursday (Jan 22) I see an OB oncologist for a 5" mass found on my right ovary in an ultrasound I underwent to determine the cause of a persistent sharp abdominal pain. I've had a Ca-something blood test (to reveal the presence of cancer?) that I don't know the results of, but my exam with the OB oncologist will start the ball rolling on what the cause of the mass is. Cancer? I don't know, but it's suspected. Family history has mother and grandmother with ovarian cancer. I'm very scared and dread this appointment, full knowing that finding the truth...

I just found out today that I have a 5" mass on my right ovary and am very scared. The doctor said it COULD be ovarian cancer, but it's not certain and she didn't want to scare me (too late). I would very much appreciate your prayers as I will be headed for surgery very soon for removal of the mass (hopefully performed by an OB-oncologist). Thank you and God bless you, as I truly believe in the power of prayer.
