I agree with Gov. Jeb Bush, You know look at the East German border walls/Berlin Wall during the time of the GDR, Then tell me you want our border to look like that.

God bless you sir, We had a cat that was wild before we had rescued him he passed recently best and sweetest cat we had ever seen in our life. So good he would let the groomer groom him let us give him a bath (just whined a little but was cooperative) He started scratching furniture) we just gave him a old chair sprayed with catnip and sprayed the rest with some anti cat claw spray and trained him and worked great he eventually got use to the cat scratching toys my mom made him a homemade scratch post too that was more natural. The cat even warned us when their was a tornado siren going off at night actually before then went under the table.

Well, It is cruel and Unnecessary, From what I understand in my non-medical opinion it offers no medical or other benefits for the cat. There are plenty of alternatives such as caps, trimming, anti clawing cat spray (check local pet store),cat scratching toys, training your cat (yes with love patience and knowledge a cat can be trained really good. ( I gave a old chair to our cat one time sprayed some cat nip he got the message that was his chair and could scratch that but not the others) Cat de-clawing causes a lot of physical problems and emotional problems often times biting and becoming more defensive, aggressive, afraid, withdrawn and biting everyone I know as regretted it that ever did it. I heard a lot of shelters get a high number of de clawed cats because of all of that.

We have always had indoor/outdoor cats, When they were stuck inside because of illness, injury, weather, I would bring in some wood or something for them to scratch on, If health and safety permitted I would take them out for 15 minutes or so each day so they could scratch that worked along with giving them cat scratch toys, anti clawing spray on furniture, giving them an old chair some training etc.

I'm all for minimal government intrusion in our life, However,I have no problem with de-clawing laws, as that is just what I call good governing when you pass laws for people and God's creatures that don't have a voice. God entrusted animals to our care and the bible mentions animals and their well being often. Declawing has no benefits to the cat and only harms the cat and even indoor cats sometimes find their way outside. While neutering/spaying has benefits according to the mainstream view, from what I understand in my non-medical opinion I'm not going to weigh in on that. Again all this from my non-medical opinion from someone who thanks God for all the Cats God has sent to me and my family.

Thank God! States can and Some Do Impose tighter Restrictions on Police Powers and asset forfeiture. Each State may rule on there State constitutions. Many states like Alaska,Vermont,Montana,Washington,Louisiana,Arizona I know Alaska is Iron glad and Pretty sure that Montana,Washington State and Airzona.

The Supreme Court just sets the Minimum Protection States can always make it Stronger.

Security Fence and Intercoms in most states.

(some states this ruling won’t matter)

Law Abiding Citizens fearing the Police will get the wrong house go up to the door do what you say thinking it’s a Criminal Enterprise.

Sad Day when people have to live in fear their own Governments.

However some States have legalized small amounts and/or their Bill of Rights has a privacy amendment Law-Enforcement in those states still have to get a Warrant.

    I Agree,

I would not live in Indiana after this. I just thank God that States can and do Impose tighter restrictions on Police powers.

That is where this legal fight should go next. Just like in the 90’s when Washington D.C was not favorable to the 2nd Amendment we went and lobbied the states and it worked and is working.

We should all push for the following in states that do not have the following 1. Privacy Amendment 2.A version of the 4th Amendment that State Courts interpret more strongly than the Supreme Court.

Well that is what I said this I think will be something that there will be a a lot of cases in as to what sounds could be allowed and what not.

This however gives a good reason for the Conservatives to stand with Liberals and Libertarian and push for legalizing marijuana and other drugs.

In light of this I remind my self the following.

1.States may and Several do impose restrictions on police power higher than the Supreme Court allows. I know Alaska will not be affected I think WA State and MT as well. I know AK they can't even search a car without a warrant even if they smell weed.

    2. The Security Fence/Intercom/Steel Door Industry in most states will boom since if you can refuse entry we can (read Opinion of Court)then they can't get to your door how in the world can they find the wrong house and claim to smell something and hear something?

    3. Judge Alito did say in the opinion that minus the legal jargon that if something was claimed to be smelt then then it better be found

    4. Like In Heller Vs. DC and Roe V Wade I think there will be many many cases in the future on this example what kinds of sounds can and can't be used by a reasonable person to determine if evidence is being destroyed.

    5. Judge Alito said in opinion they could have verbally refused entry and assert there rights instead of try to destroy evidence, I suppose this is like one of those Watergate type crimes where trying to do a cover up is more likely get you caught

Although I do worry about those situations we will read and hear in states that don't impose a higher standard we will read about the police knows there is drug activity at a house goes to the house says they smell drugs hears nosies then busts in and there is a shoot out happened to a old lady in ATL yrs ago. 98% of people will not think that at night someone breaking there door down is the police. This is danger to Everyone Civilians and Police. Sad and Shocking Day For Our Country I hope all Americans Write there Federal Elected Officials and All Who live in the states where there is not a higher restriction write their state officials. We should all write our local papers and non-profit organizations we're members of to do all we can to limit and reverse this.

It is Good that Several States already impose restrictions on Police Power higher than the Supreme Court . In states where that is not the case.

I’m sure the Security Fence/Intercom and Steel re- Enforced/doors,etc will be booming. Especially since Judge Alito said you can speak up and assert your rights and refuse entry.

I know Alaska this will not effect they still have to get warrants even to search a car/house even if they smell it. I think MT and WA State will also be un affected now sure though.

Some States do impose restrictions on Police Power Higher than the Supreme Court. I advise all to find out which ones and either move there or try to make your State on that that list. I’m Moving to Alaska they still have to have one there and I think MT and WA State.

I’m sure the Security Fence Intercom and Steel Enforced Industry is going to become a Very RICH!.

Since how can someone at a driveway gate intercom hear or smell anything at the door. And Judge ALito says the suspects could have said something and refused Entry trying to look at the bright points here.

This is another reason in which I’m glad each state is sovereign. If I lived in Indiana right now I would be planning on moving to another state. Those who do not move I advise should be learning all about the History on the Soviet Union and China since that is what it will be like to soon live in Indiana. People are moving out in States like New York and New Jersey people get tired of the Oppression and High Taxes and leave sooner or later those states will get the message and reverse course.
