Lindsey Jacobellis (Roxbury, CT) picked up the U.S.’s first gold medal at the 2022 Winter Olympics with a win in Women’s Snowboard Cross on Wednesday. At 36-years-old, Jacobellis is now the oldest American woman to win a winter Olympic medal of any color in any sport and the oldest snowboard medalist ever. OLYMPIA, Wash. – More than 125 state troopers have been cut following Governor Jay Inslee’s mask mandate. Washington State Patrol announced Tuesday morning it “separated” 127 people from employment who were not vaccinated by the Oct. 18 deadline. This included 53 civil servants and 74 officers. Willard Scott, who forecast the weather for NBC's "Today" show for more than three decades and spent 65 years at NBC, has died, Al Roker said in an Instagram post on Saturday. Pushback is growing against Gov.
