  • Who betrayed Anne Frank? Book claims to shed new light {Nazis alerted by Jewish collaborator}

Betraying ones own people is as bad as it can get.

Was this collaborator given a choice between betraying her people or being tortured and killed? It's hard to say what we would do if we were given a similar choice.

Wiki describes WOW as: "Women of the Wall (Hebrew: נשות הכותל, Neshot HaKotel) is a multi-denominational feminist[1] organization based in Israel whose goal is to secure the rights of women to pray at the Western Wall, also called the Kotel, in a fashion that includes singing, reading aloud from the Torah and wearing religious garments (tallit, tefillin and kippah)."

It's amazing how an organization whose supposed purpose is to "secure the rights of women to pray at the Western Wall", decided to oust women praying at the Western Wall.

Now, for a bit of humor. If you have 2 Jews arguing a position, you'll get 3 opinions. Call me anti-Semite, racist, whatever. I think the joke is funny!

China has been and continues to eat our lunch as far as trade is concerned. When confronted with protecting American markets from being bankrupt/overrun by foreign goods, President Washington raised tariffs on foreign imports, which accomplished 2 things. It allowed American manufacturers and businesses to grow and it generated revenue for the federal government. To all you globalists out there, I have one thing to say: TARIFF, TARIFF, TARIFF. Ok, I said 3 things but you get my point.

We don't need China or any other country - we are the premier consumer market of the world ! We need to again become the premier manufacturer of goods and services for the world. American and Americans first! MAGA !

Who else was he speaking to? You are just making things up. Not 'context' look at the actual words.

I am looking at both scripture and context. Respectfully, I come to a different conclusion than you and the Roman Catholic church.

John 20 does not say Jesus breathed on the ‘apostles’ only. John 20 certainly infers if not states out-rightly that Mary Magdalene was included with the group of disciples that Jesus was addressing. Mary, Jesus’ mother, was obviously a believer and disciple. John the apostle was taking care of her during the time of John 20. She was likely with the disciples in John 20. “From the beginning”, Jewish women disciples, including Mary Magdalene, Joanna, and Susanna, had accompanied Jesus during his ministry and supported him out of their private means (Luke 8:1-3). The 120 followers ‘disciples’ in the upper room on the day of Pentecost, obviously were made up of more than the 12 apostles. It wasn't as though there were only 12 disciples/apostles following Jesus up until the day of Pentecost, when miraculously 120 disciples appeared in the upper room. Furthermore, it’s recorded that Thomas, one of the ‘apostles’, was not present in John 20. What? Does this mean Thomas was excluded from Jesus bestowing authority to forgive and retain sins on His disciples? Context of scripture and understanding of who Jesus’ disciples were - tells us that the disciples referenced in John 20 were more than just the apostles.

Looks like Christ delegated the authority to forgive sins to the men he established as His priesthood.

John 20 doesn't say that Jesus gave power to forgive and retain sin to the apostles only. Jesus was speaking to His disciples in John 20 and the context indicated both men and women, apostles and those who were not apostles were breathed upon and given authority by Jesus to forgive and retain sins. Additionally, preceding His giving authority to Believers to forgive and retain sin, Jesus said, "Receive the Holy Spirit". It could be argued that "Receiving the Holy Spirit" is a prerequisite for having authority to forgive and retain sin. Assuming this is so, on the day of Pentecost, 120 Believers made up of: men and women, possibly some children received the Holy Spirit with evidence of speaking in tongues.

If you're an apologist for the Roman Catholic church teaching that authority to absolve sins is limited to its priests only, I would respectfully disagree based my read of John 20 and the book of Acts account of the 120 receiving the Holy Spirit in the upper room.

Mr. President - Mark Levin accurately trumpeted that Rosenweasel and Mueller are serving illegally. Article II of the Constitution gives only the President authority to appoint officers like those held by Rosenweasel and Mueller.

Mr. President - fire Rosenweasel, Mueller and Sessions and appoint a pit-bull conservative AG who will prosecute, indict and jail all the criminals in DC starting with those in the AG, FBI, State Dept and DNC.

Until our government starts putting people like the Clintons in jail, we are fooling ourselves to believe that there is equal treatment under the law.

"No amount" of legislation would have stopped TX school shooting.

Our culture applauds killing babies in the womb by the millions. Christians and Christian values have been demonized in our schools and institutions - and replaced with godless relativism. Violence of every sort permeates our media, movies and airwaves. We equate freedom with license and make no judgement as to what constitutes evil - because everything is relative - there are no absolutes. Newer generations have been raised to believe that they are victims and someone needs to pay. The professional and celebrity race hustlers, Christ haters, pervert lovers, USA haters - in our schools, media and government have been happy to indoctrinate our children.

Guns are not the problem. Our godless culture is.

At some point, Sessions has to become a complicit conspirator by allowing criminal behavior.

That ship has sailed. "You'll know them by their fruits (by their action or inaction.)" - Jesus

The legal view of one's "silence" when faced with a choice or question - is that silence constitutes consent. Session's silence AKA inactivity toward investigating and prosecuting many (mostly Democrat) criminals screams that he's complicit by his silence, indifference, inaction.

Christianity has outlived its usefulness and even lost its former meaning

Christianity is not a teaching - it is a relationship with the person Jesus through the Holy Spirit. Christianity is eternal because it is not a religion, it is faith in a living and eternal God.

As much as it may, the world will NEVER wipe out Christianity.

There's nothing new under the sun. Isaiah 14 speaks to pride and the self-centered person. When Jesus returns, man will clearly understand the price of rebelling against and rejecting the Lord's Christ.

Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying, Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us. He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision. Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure. Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion. I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee. Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession. Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel. Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth. Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling. Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him. ...Psalm 2:1-12

Thanks, but I’ll trust TED CRUZ on this long before I’ll trust Elizabeth Warren - but you’re certainly entitled to pick your heroes too.

We often accuse liberals of conflating and distorting facts. The Wiki article was not written by Warren. It's an intelligent article citing many authoritative sources. re:

I don't see net neutrality as a political argument as much as a corporation vs consumer issue. I don't see net neutrality picking winners and losers, in fact just the opposite. The repeal of net neutrality (the current law) allows ISPs to throttle speed and band width based on who you and me choose to access on the internet.

Some here on FR may believe there is no place for utility commissions; that monopolies should operate unfettered; that laissez-faire is always a good thing. I am not one of those persons. I have no more trust in the benevolence and fairness of corporations like Comcast (and others) as I do government. There is a reason we regulate monopolies and enforce anti-trust laws. ISPs should not have the right, as they currently do, to throttle my internet speed because of who I choose to access on the Internet. Sell me Internet speed/band width BUT let me decide who I choose to access.

In some ways, net neutrality is similar in the way Facebook and other social media discriminate against Conservatives and Christians. The corporation discriminates as to: use, priority, right to publish and access based on whether you are a liberal vs Conservative or Christian. This is wrong. Facebook and other social media should treat all users as equal.

It gives leftist goals and propaganda an equal footing with real factual information.

My limited understanding of net neutrality is based on the definition I found on Wikipedia and discussions with my son who is pursuing an IT degree. Post 28 states the Wiki definition. Based on that definition, I would be in favor of net neutrality. IMHO, Internet providers should sell internet access to consumers and not try to control who is accessed. Specific levels (speed and band width) cost x number of dollars. E.g., my ISP charges me $60/mo for 80mbps down and 10mbps up. If I want faster speeds, I will pay more; lower speeds, I will pay less. That's all fine. Net neutrality requires that the ISP cannot lessen the speeds you pay for - based on websites you access or internet services you access. In other words, when you've paying for 80mbps down and 10mbps up, you should be expected to have those speeds regardless of who you are accessing through the internet. Internet neutrality is fair for the consumer and forces ISPs to not pick winners and losers in terms of who you and me access/contact on the internet or in terms of them throttling speeds up or down based on who you and me access/contact on the internet. ISPs should be in the business of selling access and charge based on speed and band width - and that's all ! I think net neutrality does just that.

For those not sure of which side to take on this, simply look at who is lining up on which side - that is ALL you need to know.

You may want to read the definition of net neutrality as found on Wiki.
