Sorry. I am an engineer and don’t worry about trivialities such as politics and the workings of devious minds which obviously politicians must think about.

I deal with reality and things I can touch or modify, can develop, fix, etc and not with wishy washy, dealings of politicians.

He has been working for the Dems for over ten years and you have just had this idea now?

I know what he had to do to survive the Hanoi Hilton. (Beside he and I had something in common.) The Day I left VeitNam he was shot down and captured - Oct 23rd 1967.

Never be sentimental about someone who you KNOW "HAD TO BE BRAIN WASHED - Even if it was only partial it is CRITICAL now - to us.

Do you mean try something like - kidnap him, sell him to a slaver deep in the Congo and hope he never escapes? Maybe the N. Koreans could use a dung processor.

I remember reading a Theseus about creating energy for virtually nothing.

It is a known fact that any liquid or gas passing between two parallel plates creates power.

    I PREDICT......

That man will refine his use of materials to product products (example - producing can goods from sterilized waste products. The same would hold true of cars, airplanes, houses etc.

Secondarily we would develop adequate space travel to mine planets such as Mercury, Venus, Mars, the moons of Jupiter and the asteroid belt.

I envision Mercury (as well as Venus) having underground cities which use heat to generate refrigeration for underground miners.

Titan and Ganymede would also be viable options with the right technology.

Glad to see you finally got around to reading the Constitution.

We do not have the right to carry RPGs, Mortars/Launchers, bazookas etc as they do not qualify as personal weapons for self defense.

We can carry knives openly and I know of no such law restricting them yet 6 times as many people are killed with knives than all guns (combined with), poison, cars, hatchets, hammers and so on.

But nobody EVER mentions knives in laws or on the news.

Get shot with a gun and you are on every TV Station there is. Get stabbed with a knife and you may get a small notice in your local newspaper.

Our Constitution GUARANTEED our right to bare arms.

It is our Legislators that have become our Aristocracy and now THEY make the rules and a fair portion of our “Dumbded Down” Citizenry have no clue one way or the other.

One way to guarantee our rights is for everyone to carry their weapons open for all to see and make local / national law enforcement try and take that right away.

If enough people stood their ground this problem would not exist. Conceal Carry was one way of getting around the problem for the government and covering up the right to open carry.

The excuse of believing based on “Faith” is blind obedience but if it serves you well, so be it.

I have no problems with Christian belief. The “Best” people on this planet are generally Christians so I have no problem with that fact.

I just refuse to be blinded and accept everything that the Bible says because I know human nature to well.

WE have had more than 2000 years of numerous religions therefor by logic they must all be correct because they survived for so long.

    BAD LOGIC. LAZY THINKING.

You came to believe what you believe because that is how you were brought up. Muslims believe what they believe because that is how they were brought up.

Therefor - you BOTH must be right.

I worked with archeologists in the middle east and I uncovered MANY empty tombs. Tombs were only a place to store a body until it desiccated and then the bones were cleaned and put in a carved stone box and sometime kept in the house and sometime buried.

YOU were not there and you rely upon people 2000 years to provide accurate details and for those details to remain consistent all this time.

History proves that time ALWAYS changes how facts are interpreted and reported and can not be relied upon.

We can’t even keep our own prejudices and biases inline about things that happened as recently as 20 years so how can an undocumented document be relied on after 2000 years.

NONE of the manuscripts exist from that time because 99.9% of the people were not literate and all facts were passed from one person to another for thousands of generations and you expect accuracy just because it is said to be the word of God?

God did not write the Bible ,,,,, man did. Man is extremely fallible. If God had written it down and I could see the original document then and only then would I accept what you believe to be true.

RULE 1. In the field you salvage every weapon, and bullets you can from your enemy and trade with others so that you can keep a good supply.

RULE 2. Make raids for the single purpose of making them waste their ammo while you locate their supply and either take it or blow it up.

RULE 3. Let them use their weapons on full automatic while you hide and shoot only when you have a specific target lined up and YOU only use single rounds. This also makes it harder for them to locate you.

A person shooting full automatic is always targeted by the enemy because they are an easy target to locate. A single shot is EXTREMELY hard to locate especially if there enough of you randomly shooting and moving location after each shot.

It was designed to keep equal power and traction to all wheels at all times - in turns, in acceleration, in deceleration, should one wheel hit a slick spot, etc.

    MARK:

The gospel of Mark was written in a prototype form before it was later crafted into the form that we are familiar with. The earlier version was called ‘Ur Marcus’ and is also known/called ‘Q’ (for ‘Quelle’, which is German for the ‘source’).

Our latest findings regarding the early version of Mark show that this was written at about the time of Claudius Caesar, by the grandfather of Arrius Piso. That version was apparently only a bare sketch and most likely did not give a name to the ‘messiah’. That appears to have been done later by the person who actually played ‘Jesus’ in the Gospels - Arrius Piso

The version that we are familiar with was written about the year 73 CE by Arrius Calpurnius Piso. Arrius Piso was a Roman on his father’s side, but a descendant of King Herod on his mother’s side and therefore he knew well about the Jewish religion. He was also a close relative to the Flavians and even though secretly he could inherit and use the Flavian name by his mother’s descent from them, he gave a story about receiving it from the emperor Vespasian (in his other identity as Flavius Josephus).

    MATTHEW:

Matthew too, was authored by Arrius Calpurnius Piso. This was written about the year 75 CE.

    LUKE:

Was written 85-90 CE by Arrius C. Piso and Pliny the Younger.

    JOHN:

The 4th Gospel, or the Gospel of John was written by Justus Calpurnius Piso, a son of Arrius C. Piso. This son was very much like this father in his hatred towards humanity. This Gospel was written circa 105 CE.

    ACTS:

The Acts of the Apostles was written by Arrius Piso and his son Justus, with some help from Pliny the Younger 96-100 CE. By the way, there is a portion of Acts that is missing from most English translations/interpretations. That is the 29th Chapter, which has 10 verses.

    ROMANS:

The epistle to the Romans was written by another son of Arrius Piso (Proculus Piso) and Claudia Phoebe about the year 100. Claudia Phoebe is known in history as the wife of the emperor Trajan (as Pompeia Plotina). She wrote the last few verses of this epistle, which many copies of the NT in English leave out because that portion was written by a woman. This is obvious, and she even gives her name as ‘Phoebe’. You can tell where the previous male author leaves off and the female author begins because the male author “signs off” with ‘Amen’. She wrote the last verses (25-27) of Romans, Chapter 16.

    1st CORINTHIANS, GALATIONS, and EPHESIANS:

were all written between 100-103 CE by Pliny the Younger.

    2nd CORINTHIANS and PHILIPPIANS:

were written by Justus C. Piso between 103-105 CE.

    COLOSSIANS:

was written by Justus C. Piso and his son Julianus (Julianus was the father of the emperor Marcus Aurelius, but this is seen in history only by his use of another name ‘Verus’).

    1st TIMOTHY:

was written by Pliny the Younger circa 105 CE.

    2nd TIMOTHY:

was written by Justus C. Piso (also known in history by other names), c. 107 CE.

    1st and 2nd THESSALONIANS:

were written by Justus C. Piso and his son Julianus with some help from his nephew Silanus between the years 105-110 CE.

    TITUS:

was written by Pliny the Younger circa 103-105 CE.

    PHILEMON:

was written by Justus C. Piso and his son Julianus.

    JAMES:

was written by Justus C. Piso around 110 CE.

    1st and 2nd PETER:

were written by Proculus Piso between 110-115 CE.

    1st, 2nd and 3rd JOHN:

were written by Julius Calpurnius Piso (who was still another son of Arrius Calpurnius Piso), between 110-115 CE.

    JUDE:

was written by Julius C. Piso also, between the years 110-115 CE.

THE REVELATION OF JOHN THE DIVINE:

was written by Julius Calpurnius Piso, who may have been the son of the other Julius Calpurnius Piso (who had the same name), and this was written in or about the year 137 CE. It was not the book of the NT, just written as the end of the story.

    HEBREWS:

This was written by a grandson of Arrius Piso named Flavius Arrianus circa 140 CE. Flavius Arrianus was the real name of the historian who wrote as ‘Appian’. This person was the half-brother of the emperor Antoninus Pius. Antoninus Pius, by the way, also wrote history under the name of Suetonius. Flavius Arrianus also wrote other works, most notably, he wrote under the name of ‘Ptolemy’.

Historians say this about your statement (and it is well documented).

(your statement) As for Paul’s encounter with Christ, you reason that Jesus was a common name. But the Jesus with whom Paul had dealings said to him, “Saul, Saul why persecutest thou Me...I am Jesus whom thou persecutest.” The Lord narrowed it down quite nicely which Jesus it was that was talking with him.

THE FACTS. Paul did not make that journey until after the crucifixion of Jesus (Jesua). The trip to Damascus was his attempt to let people know that Jesus was dead and no longer a threat. It is thought that it happened as early as one month after the crucifixion to maybe a year after.

Since there is no date given for the crucifixion one can only speculate but the travel of Paul was well documented by Herod and the Roman Legions still in Israel. (The BAD GUYS kept good records of such events).

Who did he meet on the road to Damascus? It could have been the embodiment of Jesus - or Paul could have simply had an Epiphany and converted then and there.

I don’t know. Neither do you. Documents show my version to be more correct and your only source is a 2000 old document that was pieced together by thousands of men throughout history, numerous churches, governments, kings, scribes etc.

(using your words) - actually, for me, (also). the true belief comes from a true, personal “knowing”...little answers to prayers.... (which come from internalized faith in oneself, the inevitability of solutions found after relaxing and searching. The mind in quite creative but one has to let it do its work and not try to override it with our own prejudices).

I get the sudden feeling of peace at times when I need it - - - - it just springs upon “me” after relaxing or even a good sleep/nap and the inspiration (or solution) hits me.

most....little miracles which have happened in my life. no document from Jesus needed to substantiate anything. in fact, that’s kind of what faith is all about, isn’t it?

I have had quite a few MAJOR miracles happen in my life because I had faith that I would persist and as long as I kept a positive path and belief in myself and my abilities, I would persist. I did, I have, and I always will.

I get inspiration from others and I think that THAT is one of the greatest sources of satisfaction.

I never get inspiration directly from the bible “except” when I extract commonsense logic that is and forever has been in the mind of mankind.

Sorry sweetie. I deny anything that rings of fable and not fact. A true believer wants facts substantiated by documents, multiple sources and logic.

I believe part but recognize that most of what is written today is fable to glorify further and not provide substance.

I also believe that God is indeed present but not in the form most people think. God is everywhere - therefore God IS THE UNIVERSE ITSELF.

There is more to life than just getting up in the morning and surviving the day. We need inspiration but we also need facts and most of the bible is a fairy tale that can in no manner be substantiated except by faith and/or folly.

I only deny false unsubstantiated accounts.

For example - when did Saul/Paul first meet Jesus? On the road to Damascus? Perhaps, but as a Jerusalem Pharisee, it would have been nearly impossible for Saul to not have encountered the Messiah during the time of His ministry - and it was the Pharisees who were the foremost members of the ruling council that had the Christ judicially assassinated. When Jesus said, on the road to Damascus, “I am Jesus whom thou persecutest,” it was after Christ’s resurrection when no one could persecute Him; Jesus may have made the statement as a reminder of what Saul had done prior to and during Christ’s killing. Saul very likely debated with Christ in Jerusalem (Christ’s encounters with the Pharisees are described in detail - and the Pharisees were always humiliated by the Truth that Christ spoke), debates that Saul lost - hence his violent hatred for Christ and then Christians

I have lived and excavated sites in and around Tarsus Turkey.

I know that God (GOD) exists.

I have no proof except the bible which in no way today resembles the 5th century parchments that were the Bible then, and what about the variations that occurred in the 5 centuries before that?

No WISE man ever believes a story in its entirety unless he has the original document. WE have nothing close to the original documents, so believe what you want, just don’t expect me to believe what you do as I know stories change DRASTICALLY through time and translations.

It is a nice story and I wish it were true but I know history and history tells me that stories change with the passing of each printing. EVEN (Treasure Island) by Robert Lewis Stevenson.

The Hunchback of Notre Dame I recall because his face rang a bell.

Damascus Road was a very short meeting between Paul and someone he had never met before - Jesus.

Jesus was not an uncommon name. Like Bob or John. It was not until Paul was blinded and supposedly cured by this Jesua (Jesus) that it was of any substance.

Paul never saw Jesus or sought him until years later. (Well After his death).

PLEASE NOTE - I CAN ACTUALLY SAY I SAT ON THE RABBI’S SEAT IN THE CHURCH JUST OUTSIDE OF TARSUS TURKEY WHERE PAUL ESTABLISHED HIS FIRST CHURCH. I SAT EXACTLY WHERE PAUL SAT. (Probably numerous times).

Can you say the same about your personal experiences or does it only come from a bible that that been modified Thousands upon Thousands of times in the past 2 thousand years?

Try this - Read the book - “Misquoting Jesus”.

I doubt any human can translate ANY document over 2000 years and not end up with facts that are so screwed up that the original writing would not be recognized if it was ever found.

Historians NEVER report fact on any subject unless the ORIGINAL document can be found. Human nature is to modify, translate to their new language or beliefs and in 2000 years you would not recognize much if anything of the original document let alone the original events.

What facts we do have are partial parchments from the 5th century century and they look NOTHING LIKE OUR CURRENT BIBLE but only a hint of the same storyline.

Paul encountered someone called Jesus or Jesua. Rather Common name.

He made no special note of said meeting until after the sand storm where he lost his sight and was cured and then recalled Jesua (Jesus), but never again saw or talked with him.

It was many years later that he became a believer. It did not happen overnight.

You would think he would have looked Jesus up and talked philosophy (religion) before heading off to Rome to spread the word.

Paul DID like the Philosophy and it fit his nature, but he was still a Roman Citizen and Carried a Roman Sword.

I NEVER SAID that this was written by a single scribe. YOU mad the assertion without knowing what scribes did. They transcribed (documented) what others said as best they could.

Where were the disciples after Jesua (Jesus) died.

THEY SPLIT and were never to be heard from again until Paul tracked some of them down and got statements.

They basically went into hiding for two plus decades and after having their statements transcribed for Paul, they went back into hiding.

Timothy went as far as India go escape from Herod. Where the others went I don’t know but they most likely went back to their old careers under assumed names.

NO. You are making the claim, YOU document it.

I have studied many subjects and one thing I have found out is that ALL stories get exaggerated and facts get lost because those people during that era did not have the privilege of reading and writing. IT WAS AGAINST THE LAW for a commoner to read and write.

That is what scribes were for. Then the scribe would send ALL copies to King Herod.

Example - Did the Vikings wear helmets with horns on them?

No. Vagner invented that for his operas. It was Broonhilda that was the first to have horns on a so called Viking Helmet.

Josephus did not even start his research until 60 to 70 years after the fact. Much of what he wrote on other subjects were pure and simple “Hear say” and “conjecture”. That is why only Christians point to him as credible. Nobody else ever mentions his works except to say that he got very few of his fact straight, regardless of his subject.

Oral history was pretty accurate until the advent of written language and this event was on the cusp of said event. The Greeks were teaching everyone they could find how to read and write but the skill of Oral history was all that existed in Israel during the time of this event. Herod would chop the heads or crucify people who were not authorized to read and write. He controlled the Scribes and copies of everything they wrote on any subject (even transactions between business men) was sent to Herod.

The Followers of Jesus did not write down squat. It was against the law unless you were Greek, Roman or Jewish Royalty.

There were quite a few writers (including Herod) who NEVER mentioned Jesus and his disciples.

2,000 years of history, or 2,000 year of misrepresentation by the early Catholic Church? THEY were the ones who picked and choose what was to be written and what was to be ignored or covered up.

Fact - Paul NEVER mentioned such a meeting. If he had I can guarantee he would have mentioned it in his letters.

Logic dictates your second question. The disciples NEVER wrote anything until Paul (who was in Rome and under house arrest) and was trying to collect as much documentation as he could from people. He wrote to everyone one he could find in and around Israel that may have known Jesus and his disciples.

It was during this time (over 20 plus years after the fact) that Paul apparently made contact and received the letters which were to be used in his defense for treason against the Roman Deities.

One can logically come to that conclusion by reading the different chapters of the bible and not the many similarities which is not normal. 12 people each writing their own letters speak in different term and remember things in various mannerisms. That is why I suggest that a single scribe wrote the letters for the Disciples because it was well known that none of them knew how to write in ANY language. They were all commoners and commoners were not allowed to learn to read and write except if given permission by the Pharisees or the Romans.

Can YOU point to ANY documents during that time that mentions Jesua (Jesus).

Apply your questions to yourself and see what kind of answers you can come up with. Study and learn. Research, Research and even more Research shows no such mention - except by the efforts of Paul and no letters between him and the Disciples have ever surfaced.
