  • Looking for FR forum posting Firefox add-on

I have an add on installed on a different machine that changes the FR posting page to add a bunch of functions (like the options when replying to a post or article here on FR). At any rate, if anyone here knows where I can get ahold of the add-on I'm looking for, I'd appreciate the info. While searching for the add-on I came across this: Stop It Grandpa by Colin Brennan. About this extension NOW AUTOMATICALLY UPDATES! Boomer parents becoming increasingly radical over time? Got a friend who's starting down the path of white supremacy? Thinking your friends are...
  • Vanity - TV Commercials all have virtue signaling, all local news the same in MN

Anybody else seeing all of the SJW/virtue signaling commercials and banners on their TV on all shows, news, etc? It's just so saccharine how much they are pandering to the element of society that is systematically trying to bring down our nation. There is no attempt to disguise the agenda here, it is just overt as can be. Newcasters interview protesters saying they want and expect charges filed on all 4 police officers in the George Floyd "Murder" and they want 4 convictions - no sense of irony in their calls for "justice". They are taunting anyone who disagrees or...

Intel has been scarred by another major security glitch that takes advantage of the same technology behind the Meltdown and Spectre vulnerabilities. The new set of vulnerabilities, labeled Foreshadow, allows passwords and other confidential information to be swiped from memory caches in Intel’s processors. On Tuesday, the Santa Clara, California-based company said it had released microcode to protect potentially vulnerable devices in personal computers and data centers. The company said that the changes, coupled with new updates for operating systems and hypervisor software made available on Tuesday, would protect most customers. “We are not aware of reports that any of...

Jane M. Orient, MD is an author, a practicing physician who maintains a solo practice of general internal medicine, a clinical lecturer at the University of Arizona College of Medicine, and the executive director at the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons. Orient recently penned a piece titled "Shall We Take the Liberty of “the 1%”?," which highlights a number of pressures facing physicians. In a recent interview, MD+DI asked Orient about that article and how she expects healthcare reform legislation to impact physicians in the United States. MD+DI: How do you feel healthcare reform will affect physicians' ability to...

  • Unforgeable" UK National ID Security Technology Apparently Cracked

    IEEE Spectrum Blogs ^ | August 07, 2009 | Robert Charette
Robert Charette // Fri, August 07, 2009 The London Daily Mail published a long, interesting and disturbing story yesterday about the ease with which security experts were able to hack the supposedly "unforgeable" new UK ID card for foreign nationals and change the data within the embedded microchip within minutes. Given that the hacked ID card uses the same technology as is to be used in National ID cards for UK residents in the next few years, the implications are obvious. The Daily Mail says that when the UK government was told of its findings, the government dismissed them, saying,...

Please help me out! My daughter grew a massive sunflower from seed in a wildflower garden that we planted late this spring. This flower was MAGNIFICENT, it had eight blooms and 3 or 4 more on the way! Neighbor boys cut it down with a tent pole this morning and Bachman's has told us that it will likely die. We are in MN (twin cities area), so I'm trying to find somewhere, anywhere, that has sunflowers (mature ones preferably). Bachman's told us no dice - they don't have any. My 2.5 year old is going to be crushed, and Mom...
  • VANITY: Need to know about Castle Law and Minnesota

I need to know about my right to defend myself as it is applicable in Minnesota. I have a person making threats against me and my family, he assaulted me (unsuccessfully I might add), and threw a 6' tall Shepard's hook into our picture window trying to taunt me to come out and fight (I called 911, got him arrested, but he got out in less than 6 hours and is back in my neighborhood). Will an OFP provide me anymore levity should I need to protect myself of my family with deadly force? When can I use deadly force...

Excerpt: January 31, 2008 No fat people allowed: Only the slim will be allowed to dine in public! It has actually happened. Lawmakers have proposed legislation that forbids restaurants and food establishments from serving food to anyone who is obese (as defined by the State). Under this bill, food establishments are to be monitored for compliance under the State Department of Health and violators will have their business permits revoked. House Bill 282 was introduced in the 2008 Mississippi legislative session on Friday by Representative W.T. Mayhall, Jr., a retired pharmaceutical salesman with DuPont-Merk. Its co-authors are Bobby Shows, a...
