I guess it depends on who decides what is ‘misleading’ and ‘official’. The bishops have been leaning on saint in the making Boner for years to give them their illegals.

Why want the churches ...open the church doors and allow the illegals to reside inside the church and let them fully support them.Church memebers can open their homes allowing illegals to live with their families.Let them do their part.

Ah, some of the 'charities' have a feeding tube into the US Treasury via welfare contracts.

This is truly pathetic. I am truly and sincerely sorry you have exposed yourself like this. Your Catholic in-laws are ignorant, and if you think they define Catholicism you are ignorant 2. And you've lived with these ignoramuses for 40 years? That would explain a lot.

Well, spoken like a pure Catholic, I have been exposed to for nearly 40 years!!!

Our first loyalty is to Our Lord.

And some Catholics claim their church is the Lord. So if Rome counsels American bishops to demand amnesty then what will elected Catholics do? Why they will follow the bishops=Rome instead of the Constitution they swore an oath to defend. One cannot serve two masters, nor can one play the role of Caesar and legislate charity.

Well, that deception is wide and deep, in spite of Christ’s warnings. John 3 is not about the modern ‘born again’ doctrine so many claim to have done. While, I agree the baptism or sprinkling of water on the baby has no effect, neither does the notion of ‘born again’.

Where in the world do you get this nonsense? I'm serious: do you just make stuff up as you go along? Or should I conclude you must be getting misinformation from somebody who retails stupid falsehoods in print or online?

Do not play games with me. I have live with Catholic in-laws for nearly 40 years and I am NOT saved because I am NOT Catholic. I don't do the rituals nor the dance thus I am relegated out in Luther's domain for my falling short. Oh I am not Luthern, however, in the world of Catholics I have survived I might as well have been. Whitewashing reality of Catholic doctrine will NOT undue what I have lived!!!!!

Well, God did specify 6 literal days where there was morning and evening but obviously ymmv. Also does not the Holy Word say something about their being no private interpretations of His Words? Last, I don’t have time now -later tonight maybe - for a debate / discussion over the problems with long ages but I do refer to this list in defense of 6-10k years only b/c these are factual scientific findings not opinions, assumptions and conjectures. Worse SWAGs: scientific wild arsed guess... 101 Evidences for a Young Age of the Earth...And the Universe http://creation.com/age-of-the-earth

No God did not specify 6 literal days. God had Peter clarify the methodology in which God keeps time. IIPeter 3. Even had Peter describe that heaven/earth world (age) that was. And its destruction. Christ and Paul continually referred to the katabol or the casting down - overthrow translated in the English to 'foundation of the world'.

I have not had much computer time and I may have the time later but I have other work that needs my attention.

Isaiah 14:12- and Ezekiel 28:12- happened between Genesis 1:1 and Genesis 1:2.

Ignoring the WORD is the same as private interpretation of His WORD for self serving purposes!!!!!

I've read your post twice, but I'm not sure I'm getting your point. Never did I say that God's judgment uses percentages. Dr. Thorne asserted that Catholic clergy are prone to be sexually abusive because of false docrtine. I pointed out that Catholic clergy are not particularly prone to be abusive: they offend at rates similar to other (Christian) clergy, and also similar to all married men taken as a statistical class. This furnishes evidence that Catholic "doctrines" are not at the root of these horrible sins of abuse. Such disgusting sins are found across all demographic categories. This does not minimize the evil of these sins: far from it. It does show that serious repentance is needed across the board, for God's judgment is strict and certain.

All demographic categories do not dress up in 'heavenly' pious robes and call themselves 'holy father'. This sin is done in the name of God. That elevates the sin into a whole different realm. God held and continues to hold, those that came/come in His name to a higher standard. By Catholic doctrine protestants are NOT really Christian so they cannot be held to the same standard. So it is deceptive to conjure up a percentage calculation that 'holy fathers' are no different than the common sinner.

After Genesis 1:1 'In the beginning'..... then Genesis 1:2 came the big bang when this earth became without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep,

And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

There is no hint of how much time elapsed between Genesis 1:1 and Genesis 1:2. Or how long Genesis 1:2 lasted.

What we are told is by Jeremiah 4:22 For My people is foolish, they have not known ME; they are sottish (means stupid) children, and they have none understanding: they are wise to do evil, but to do good they have no knowledge.

Well this controversy over how old mother earth is, is supposedly based upon knowledge or 'theories'. But here is what God had Jeremiah pen.

23 I beheld the earth, and, lo, it was without form, and void; and the heavens, and they had not light. (Moses used these same Hebrew words to describe Genesis 1:2)

24 I beheld the mountains, and, lo, they trembled, and all the hills moved lightly.

25 I beheld, and, lo, there was no man, and all the birds of the heavens were fled. (NOT talking about Noah's flood.)

26 I beheld, and, lo, the fruitful place was a wilderness, and all the cities thereof were broken down at the presence of the LORD, and by His fierce anger.

The calculations of a young earth are based upon the generations of Adam not based upon the literal evidence left strewn all over God's green earth. AND ignoring Genesis 1:2 as if that was the condition God created the heavens and the earth of Genesis 1:1 is pure deception.

    God has Isaiah write Isaiah 45:18 For thus saith the LORD That created the heavens; God Himself That formed the earth and made it: HE established it He created it NOT in vain (same Hebrew word as used in Genesis 1:2), He formed it to be inhabited; "I am the LORD;

    and there is none else.

The point of my post was that it’s best just to believe God and His Word as a little child, rather than cause a young one to stumble into error over it. I hope in Eternity to witness the manner of creation of the new heaven and new earth.

God had Moses pen in His WORD, two different floods. Then God chose His holy prophets and disciples to fill in the story regarding the cause of these two different floods. Telling little children fairy tales calling it from God is the deception Christ warned that would come calling in Matthew 24, Mark 13 and Luke 21. That my friend 'deception' is likened to Noah's flood, except the last flood will be of lies. Also called the tribulation.

Mark 13:23 (Before one jot or tittle of the so called New Testament ever got placed upon plant fibers or stones or animal skins....)

Christ said this: But take ye heed: behold, I have foretold you all things.

And Christ told us there were two floods and why.

    1) Two matters containing mass cannot occupy in the same space and time. 2) Matter cannot be created or destroyed. Genesis says that the water was 22 feet above the highest mountain tops. And then the water receded. Setting aside deus ex machina, where did all that rain water go?

Genesis 2:5 And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew:

for the LORD God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground.

6 But there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground.

Genesis 7: 11 In the six hundredth year of Noah's life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened.

Genesis 7:24 And the waters prevailed upon the earth an hundred and fifty days.... (5 months)

Genesis 8, which I am not going to type says ...God made a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters asswaged;....

How long it took for that first flood of Genesis 1:2 to recede is explained by Peter in IIPeter 3 when Peter says verse 8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing,

that one day is with the LORD as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

Genesis 5: THE BOOK OF THE GENERATIONS OF ADAM.... verse 27 And all the days of Methuselah were 969 years: and he died.

Methuselah did not live in a flesh body a 'full day' with the LORD...

Genesis 6:3 And the LORD said, "My spirit (that would be the HOLY SPIRIT) shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his day shall be an hundred and twenty years".

So there was indeed a God driven and controlled 'climate change', and it had nothing to do with greenhouse gasses.

Teacher (raising hand high and waving) teacher! I know that one: The answer is YES.

Perhaps you need to read the questions again? First question is 'which flood'? There are two floods described in the WORD, and both are described in more than one place. There were two different reasons for each of the floods. Perhaps IF the reason for the floods was investigated then the answer regarding the evidence of an ancient earth would not be such a stumbling block to the many.

Does the Catholic doctrine not teach that The Recorder of the only Book that counts does not use percentages?

IPeter 4:17 For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin with us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?

Remember Aaron's two sons, God killed them for playing with strange fire.

The idea that the Catholic Church has paid out mass fortunes for the acts of their employees, calls into question the 'charity' front used in the 'social justice' agenda. Things are not adding up.

I am a Christian and the WORD, is a twoedged sword it cuts both ways from the extreme left all the way around to the extreme right. Abuse is not a math calculation, it is playing 'god' with God's own children. Not something that will escape His attention.

Ever heard of 'blood feuds'? Remember Esau was the oldest twin, in which the 'birthright' and the 'blessing' would have normally flowed. But Esau sold his 'birthright' and God moved his mother to intervene so that Jacob received the 'blessing'. The generations since have warred over this history.

I am afraid that the reason we are in the mess we are in now is because we did not do enough to ensure a President Santorum. He was the best we have. I guess when you guys are discussing the distraction of the United States, you make sure that the conservatives are 100 percent the reason for the destruction. We bashed the best conservative nominee in history. A President Santorum would have been incredible especially with his primary issue being pro-life. What a sad decision that conservatives made by not supporting him. And who cares that he endorsed Specter. That was a decade ago. At the time it was reasonable. Toomey turned out so liberal which you guys LOVE!

There is a world of difference in claiming 'pro-life' and actually governing to protect life. For crying out loud, ObamaCare is KennedyCare or as I am now going to call it CatholicCare. There is very little 'pro-life' in that monstrosity. It actually fits the 'redistribution of benefits' recently demanded by the head guy in Rome. Try to remember to bring your snobbish nose down when you walk in the rain.

Santorum is a government statist and he would 'tax/mandate without representation' with the best of them and call it 'charity'.

If you did understand the ‘Parable of the Fig Tree’ you would not be making the erroneous statements regarding which generation Christ was pointing to.

When the flesh body dies the soul/spirit intellect returns to the Maker that sent it, there is no reason to not consider the disciples ‘saw’ the planting of the fig tree. We are the ‘fig tree generation’. It was planted when the nations made Israel a ‘nation’ back in the 1940’s. That is why the description is made of branch yet tender, and putteth forth leaves... ye know that summer is nigh: What happens at the end of summer, why, a harvest of course.

Then again there is that parable of the 10 virgins .... half ran out of oil (truth) and were sent on their way to buy themselves some oil.

The Lord’s Day is every Sunday, it’s the Christian Sabbath. He was at Patmos, banished for preaching the gospel, and it was Sunday, as he says: Revelation 1 “9 I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ. 10 I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet,” John was prophesying of things to come soon after he wrote his prophesy: Revelation 1 “1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John: 2 Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw. 3 Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.”

Sorry Sunday worship service will not fit what John penned. One must compartmentalize the rest of the Scripture to make such a unfounded claim. There are 7 trumps and given what John writes regarding 'a great voice, as of a trumpet,' is part of the prophecy. Christ returns at the 7th trump or as Paul calls it the last trump, wherein all flesh shall be changed. ICorinthians 15:51

Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, (notice Paul says 'all' not just Christians)

52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the LAST trump (that would be number 7) for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shal be changed......

This is a very basic sign, that so long as we are in flesh bodies Christ has not return for His harvest.

Wrong! Revelation 1:10 I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet,...... The Lord's day does not begin until the return of Christ right here where He said He would return.

Where does it say that? Christ told his disciples he would return in their generation.

I would be sitting here for days quoting you Scripture where the 'phrase' in THAT day is used, pointing to the Lord's day. Christ did not tell His disciples He would return in their generation. He said Matthew 24:32 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; WHEN his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:

33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.

34 Verily I say unto you, THIS generation (of the parable of the fig tree) shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled ......

Do you know the parable of the fig tree? Well, it is getting late in the day if you have no clue what Christ is instructing. Based upon your erroneous claim that Christ was talking to the generation of His disciples says you do not have a clue what this parable is.

IIPeter 3:8 But beloved, be NOT ignorant of this one thing, That ONE day is with The Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

Peter was expecting an imminent resurrection. He was trying to console those who were expecting Christ's return even sooner.

Ah, Peter may or may not have fully understood what he penned. I happened to believe he knew exactly what he was being instructed to write. Because of IIPeter 3:2 That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Saviour:

Now wonder what prophets is Peter talking about that that wrote what Peter wrote in this IIPeter 3?

What John is shown in this book covers all three heaven/earth ages. Again IIPeter 3. John wrote down what he was given/shown and it in large part is unfolding while some are sleeping.

You have no proof of that, nor can you find any. The so-called "dispensational ages" do not exist, except in the imaginative words of the new-age inventors of dispensationalism.

What do you mean I have no proof. Peter said what the majority are willingly ignorant of .... and he said in the introduction that the holy prophets also wrote... Have you never read? Genesis 1:2 Describes this flood Peter writes about IIPeter 3:5 For this they willingly are ignorant of,

that by the word of God (holy prophets) the heavens were of OLD, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:

6 Whereby the world that then WAS, being overflowed with water, perished; .....

Peter is NOT talking about Noah's flood as he already addressed that flood in IIPeter 2:5.

Daniel, long before John penned the book of Revelation, did not understand what he was told to write down. He was told Daniel 12:9 And he said, 'Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.....

Interesting now isn't it that your subject 'the sealing of the 144,000'. Is it a coincidence God sealed up the book of Daniel to Daniel and here we are 'days' later and the subject is the sealing of 144,000 of the twelve tribes of Israel? HMMMMM and you claim things that are just not true.

I'm no apologist for Pope Francis. You won't find me, "...[W]hat he meant to say was..." His Holiness has a severe communication problem. But, Popes come and go. The Church remains.

There is nothing 'holy' about this guy!!! All that religious garb he dresses up in does not change his mentality. Christ said Feed my Sheep and Christ was not talking about soup kitchens or tax collectors being nice and giving Rome its cut.

A church can be ones idol if one makes it the object of their worship. But hey, in this flesh journey, each individual has the God-given right to believe whatever they find most comforting. But none have the God-given right to force their religion upon others. Whether it be by forced taxation, but legitimately distributed benefits. Universal health care or catholic-care was forced upon US. And next will be the will of Rome, AMNESTY!!!!

Yeah....sure. I'll remember that the next time some baby killer or sodomite says that they, and they alone are the sole arbiters of moral truth.

Well, 'who am I to judge'? /s

For that they have my gratitude. But I think it's time we all recognized the experiment in post-enlightenment radical individualism is over. What we see today as we bemoan the loss of our nation is the natual extension of that belief system. Mexico is hardly Catholic in its governing structures.

The gratitude should be to the Creator. He is the one who bestowed His blessings upon this nation because He was acknowledged as the one in control. NOT some religious organization that promotes itself as veil over Jesus.

There is nothing 'radical' about individualism. That is exactly how judgment day is going to unfold. Each and every soul is going to be judged all on their own. The only advocate will be Christ. I won't be taking any ranking preacher/priest as my excuse or cause for my actions or lack thereof.

And that is why there has only been one Catholic president. The Vatican demands obedience, and loyalty. Having our POTUS avoid competing priorities has been one reason for our success.

Speaker Boehner is not loyal to the US Constitution upon which he swore an oath to uphold. It was not until a few months ago I learned that Boehner is Catholic. Then it all made sense why he refused to break Nancy Pewlouise funding 'catholic-care' rules. He is loyal first to his church and they campaigned for 'universal healthcare'. I fully expect him to fulfill his obligation to his church by shoving amnesty upon US.

This Pope is not for individual freedom. And he is ridiculing the idea of 'NO taxation/mandates without representation'. He just wants his cut of the 'benefits' collected by the tax collectors.

This nation was founded by Protestants. They recognized and made this nation’s standard, that unalienable rights of ‘life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness’ come only from the Creator. Name one nation under catholic doctrine rule that even comes close to acknowledging that standard.

Tell me why Catholic Mexico treats its peoples in such a manner that it has to export its citizens to leech off US to survive?

The Catholic Church does more to feed, clothe, etc. the people of the world than any other church. Sheer numbers. So what is your point? BTW, the Vatican is not rich; do some digging and find out about the flow of money. They run a tight ship.

Surely you are not willfully neglecting to ignore how many Catholic Charities have a direct feeding tube into the US Treasury? All avenues to the treasury crafted by elected US Catholic politicians. 'You know' like Obamacare, which I am considering calling forever more, 'Catholic-Care'. I mean really now, it is full of 'benefits' for some, paid for by the tax collectors in charge and redistributed by the gods of the state. Saint Boner sure has refused to pull that funding plug of benefit redistribution!!!!!

If Snowden had done his thing when Bush was in the White House, are there any conservatives who would not have (accurately) marked him out as a traitor? Obama Derangement Syndrome has caused a lot of conservatives to make common cause with America’s enemies.

Hey Mr. Fei, I have yet to decide IF Snowden is the devil incarnate. But there is no such thing as Obama Derangement Syndrome For all I know Snowden is a progressive democrat and is on some liberal 1% payroll. America's worst enemies are now ruling over America.

I think you are at best masquerading on a 'conservative' website, given your particular choice of words.

And other weapons in Libya went to Al Qaeda rebels in Syria.

IF that is the case then why is Assad still in power? What caused Obama and lord McCain to go silent on the drum beat of Assad has to go?

Back in debate No. 2 presidential election 2012, Romney had Obama on the Benghazi ropes. (Yes, I remember the Crowley cow interference but,) Debate No. 3 Romney's answer regarding Benghazi, was Russia? Something tells me that Obama's Syrian rebels did not get the Benghazi weapons. Else Assad would indeed be gone.

......Get use to the idea that the Catholic Church has become just another non-profit feeding off the government teat, a much more reliable revenue stream then their aging congregation.....

Does not this transference of taxpayer dollars make all of US Catholic by proxy? Now if only those Catholic Bishops can get their Catholic Boner to pass amnesty then the empty American Catholic pews can begin to be filled again? It is like Communism use up people and then need to find a new source of bodies to fund the racket. Yes, I am tired of being used by a religious organization for their political purposes. And I would feel the same way and did when Billy Graham was out there shouting praise all over the pervert Clintons.

Did Libya have US-made weapons? I think had Colonel Q's weapons made it into Obama’s fighters hands, Assad would not still be in power.

I cannot figure out why the president and lord McCain have gone silent on the absolute need for Assad to GO.

Christ stated without equivocation in Mark 13:23 But take ye heed: behold, I have foretold you all things.

When Christ made this declaration the only Written WORD from the Heavenly Father on this planet was what is commonly called the Old Testament.

Christ made God's law, (and penalties for the transgression of said laws) given directly to Moses, one and the same as the Gospel. Some will wrongly claim the law is no longer in effect. This is impossible. The first commandment is ......Thou shalt have no other gods before Me.

These that claim the law has been fulfilled, because as it is also Written the law does not save. Salvation will not be offered to those who have other gods before Him. Or any that habitually break the other nine, because they are not believers in Jesus. By the way which law(s) did Jesus break?

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, (that means die) but have everlasting life.

There is no honesty in claiming a ‘belief’ in Jesus and then doing the exact opposite of what God instructed, claiming a visit from the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is not going to send an opposite message than that God gave Himself.

God required the return of the soul of premeditated murders to Him. But then religion decided they could do things better and treat murderers just like the religious folk did when they wanted to murder Christ. They demanded Barabbas be freed in exchange for the life of Christ.

As it is Written there is nothing new under the ‘sun’.
