(Regarding the answer to stopping the 'in-house wars') The answer is for everyone to just stop doing it. I know that is hard for some, because things have gotten to the point where now things are personal. There are wounds in some cases, and in others there is anger. For the last week I have had problems with how slow FR main pages (News/General/etc) are loading, and loading with NO side-bar. Additionally, when I use the refresh feature with any of the main pages, over 50% of the time the software freezes and I have to close the site using Control/Alt/Delete function as it is unresponsive to normal exiting. I have Windows 98SE, IE v.6.0.26. My system is defragged, Temp files deleted, and cookies deleted. I have uninstalled Pop-Ad Stopper recently installed (thinking that might be the problem) but am still using a recent installation of Ad-Aware. Has anyone...

Today, at about noon, when I opened my homepage of http://freerepublic.com/focus/news/browse?ao=1 , I noticed that the website was NOT fitting my browser window (IE 6.026). The page is larger, horizontally, than my laptop window. I have never had this problem before. Nor do I have this problem with other FR windows, ie. BROWSE, REVIEW, or threads that I open to read. I have not changed any formatting or font size. I lose my right sidebar when I want to read the thread titles and intro, and when I scroll to the right to see my sidebar, lose about have the...

I would appreciate some assistance in setting up my 'topics'. Questions: Do the articles posted in the 'center' section reflect ONLY those topics I am subscribed to? My apologies for posting this in BREAKING NEWS...but that is all I can see on my system. OK---do I need help? A curiosity question. I have looked, and been unable to find, ANY indication from President-elect Bush or any member of his staff, what THEIR opinion is of the actions taken by Senator Lott regarding the 50/50 split of Senate committee members, chairs, and method for breaking ties. The most significant document prepared Sunday night has received almost no mention in the news.
