    I’ll go one step further.

I used to think these Romney and “Statist” (R) supporters were just simply that. The deceived, those who haven’t yet looked in the mirror and seen the enemy. However, it’s an impossibility (after some time spent on this site at least) to not understand the true tenets of Constitutionalism and Conservatism. With that said, they are the instruments of the consulting class. Those who are the smiths and keymasters shackling the legs of Republicans to the Bull Moose, Rockefeller wing, Crawford ranch, and etc.

Ask them to sell a “Statist” without contrasting him/her with a candidate of the opposition (?). They cannot. They speak about common sense without ever reading “Common Sense”

And, I’ve noticed many of them leave a calling card. After much handwringing about lesser of evil and rose tinting wolves in sheep clothing...they quantify for an escape below radar by stating “BTW I support Ted Cruz” , which is a direct contradiction to what they just espoused.

“Crybabies who have temper tantrums and stay home or throw their vote away (remember Perot?) give us the clintons obozos and may soon give us hitlery.”

Perot gave us the Clintons. Please. That’s revisionist history.

GHWB and GW are of the same ilk and seen themselves as masters of puppets. Father and his sacred cows were working against constitutional conservatism cutting Reagan at the knees at every opportunity just as GW and his consultants (many of his fathers old guard) did the same. They, effectively, destroyed Newt in ‘96, thereby removing the last remaining vestige of constitutional governance (enter John Boehner and the Rove commision). Newt and his allies represented the last line of defense and semblance to Reagan (moreso the founders). They forced Clinton’s reluctant move and tempered Hillarycare. Naturally, when they were gone another Bush was waiting in the wings. With the Presidency and both houses of Congress, the Republicans expanded executive and legislative powers (some of those being used against us today), along with dangerous spending. There isn’t a single rollback of the liberal advancement that can be attributed to either Bush, both card carrying member’s of the old Rockefeller wing. They did the job of the democrats, since the difference between the two ideolgies aren’t many. They, the “Statists”, destroyed the party and ushered in this current, insidious rebirth of marxism coupled with cronyism.

Now, many republicans have adopted the strategy of lying about their conservatism when voters are awake (primary/election season) and retreating to their “Statist” governance when the drones go back to sleep.(Hello Mitt, Thad, Mitch, Boehner, Lamar, Graham, fill in the blanks) Not so coincidentally, another Bush and/or more “Statists” are being funded and pushed...Why? Because its the only formula that works against conservatism until the trough goes empty.

Make no mistake, both parties (especially at the federal level) with the exception of a few brave patriots are aiming for fundamental transformation, but neither is based on the adherence to the Constitution.

Count me as one who will no longer be deceived....as Proverbs states - “As a dog returns to it’s vomit, so fools repeat their folly.”

At the very least, please present this “nuclear option” in it’s entirety.

The filibuster still applies to standard legislation and to SC nominations. The option has been implemented with respect to other presidential appointments and lower-court appointments.

It takes 51 votes to modify the Senate rules and could be used for other Senatorial charges, but that would require another vote for those changes. (As I understand it)

With that said, Mitch has already alluded to restoring the 60 vote threshold upon becoming majority leader (What a fighter!)

Also conservatives gave the power of the purse to R’s in ‘10, which they promptly handed over to their “Statist” brethren. The same power that could kill the nuclear option in it’s tracks (But a shutdown would cut off the tap to their cronies)

I have a couple physicians in my family and they would explain that older adults and seniors didn’t like to use the term “molested” and other more descriptive terms. They would say “loving” in describing these people. I even heard clergy say this as well.

Even though I got the switch, spoon, and belt, my parents never drew blood nor delivered my discipline in a rage. It was a serious and controlled procedure.

Albeit extraordinary, if this child would have had the wherewithal to handle a firemarm and planted one in AP’s head, it would be simple self defense.

When did I say "Middle East Christians" aren't real Christians? I'm speaking about this Hezbollah backed conference, which had nothing to do with the defense of Christianity. "The Maronite leader said the meeting with Obama was productive, according to the Daily Star.”

Productive for whom and in what manner? It seems Iran has found a way to influence American foreign policy even while they denounce America and build a nuclear capability. There can be no doubt that this whole episode was devised by the Ayatollahs, Hasan Rouhani, their best proxy army Hezbollah, and its leader Hasan Nasrallah. How better to infiltrate D.C. at this time than to masquerade as holding a conference on defending Christians — interestingly enough there was no support from the major Christian conservative groups like Family Research Council for this conference or these clerics.

From a geopolitical viewpoint, I am quite sure the purpose of the meeting was to bolster support for Assad, Hezbollah, and the Iranian cronies, as Obama threatens to enter into an air campaign in Syria and arm the shadowy elements of the Free Syrian Army. Somehow by scary default, Obama may find himself purposefully assisting and enabling Iranian, Shiite and Alawite efforts.

Once you go out of the realm of this conference, it is a tactic to muddy the water. As it stands and by virtue of the speakers, attendees, funders, alliances, and stealth jihadists, TC was correct to call them out. “In Defense of Christians”: a Hezbollah-backed stealth conference in Washington DC

    FARID GHADRY August 15, 2014

    (Snip)
However, when you consider who is behind this organization, only then you realize its danger.

Allegedly, its major backer and bankroller is a Lebanese-Nigerian businessman and a Hezbollah ally named Gilbert Chagouri. My sources in Washington tell me several Federal US Agencies may be investigating Chagouri for funding Hezbollah’s terror. He is also a close business associate of Michel Aoun, the Lebanese General who stands shoulder-to-shoulder with Hassan Nasrallah. Michel Aoun appointed his man in Washington, Toufic Baaklini, to manage IDC operations in his capacity as President of IDC.

Mr. Chagouri’s goal is to exploit the insecurities many Christians feel as sectarian wars rage in the Levant and to take sole control of their communities to serve the wretched agenda of Iran and Hezbollah. “In Defense of Christians” already announced that their second conference will be held in al-Quds (The Arabic name for Jerusalem). With a successful conference under its belt in Washington DC, I predict we will see IDC begin to attack US allies in the region in support of the axis of evil in the Middle East.

Another character who allegedly may be involved is Jamal Daniel, a US businessman with strong ties to the Assad regime. As a Syrian-American, I know how loyal the Daniel family is to Assad, which goes back to the sixties when Atef Daniel, Jamal’s father, helped Assad rise to become President of Syria.

There are, also, some question marks surrounding some of the Christian and civilian leaders participating in this conference when it comes to their anti-Israel rhetoric and strong support for Assad, Hezbollah, and Iran.

For example, Patriarch Bechara al-Rahi of Lebanon has close ties to the Assad regime. He claimed to a Lebanese newspaper, on December 9, 2011, that Assad is launching reforms in the midst of Assad butchering civilians. To this day, al-Rahi remains an apologist for Assad.

Amongst the public figures attending the conference is also Syrian-born Patriarch Gregorios III Laham, a known critic and adversary of Israel and a very close ally to the Assad regime. In December 2010, Laham was quoted as saying that attacks against Levantine Christians were part of a “Zionist conspiracy against Islam”.

James Zogbi, on the advisory board of IDC, will be a keynote speaker. Zogby is the founder of the Arab-American Institute and a rabid critic of Israel. He rarely misses an opportunity to criticize and attack Israel.

Many good people unwittingly have associated themselves with IDC. US Congresswoman Ileana Ros-Lethinen (R – FL) and Ex-Attorney General the Honorable John Ashcroft come to mind (There are many more). This only show the deceptive practices of Iran, behind IDC, when its agents are able to recruit patriotic Americans without a hint of their involvement in IDC. My guess Hezbollah was able to recruit them because IDC is using September 11 date to trick them into believing they stand behind the Great Satan.

Although IDC is supposed to be an avid proponent of Christianity, the organization is unable to explain some facts when it comes to that support.

How could IDC explain that Hezbollah assassinated Lebanese Christian MP Jebran Tueini and Antoine Ghanem as well as kill Christian army officers, journalists, and innocent Christian bystanders who died from their bombs? How can they explain how Assad assassinated the up and rising star President Bashir Gemayel and President Rene Mouawad as well as explain all the Assad massacres of Christians in Lebanon over the last 15 years?

Are those participating in the IDC conference realize they are associating themselves with terror against Christians? Seriously, how many Muslim terrorists you know killed Christian Presidents who reached the apogee of their careers? Only Assad and Hezbollah have committed such atrocities against Christians. The same Assad and Hezbollah this conference is kowtowing to...

You can speak on generalities and lofty platitudes all that you want, but we are talking about this conference and it’s true meaning. It served neither as a defense of Christianity nor about anything to do with Christian values. It was a hive of Hezbollah and sympathizers of various muslim extremists. They used Christianity as a cover story in hopes to mainstream radicalism...similarly to CAIR/Hamas and etc.

This was akin to him being invited to a mosque and finding that it supported and espoused jihad (along with exposing it).

Seperate what you hoped this gathering was about and what it actually was and you will find the truth.

Christians are suffering and most of these people at this conference couldn’t give a damn. They want a caliphate with Christians as their slaves.

As reported by Breitbart, TC was well aware of the deception of this conference. When the Hezzbolah funders and sympathizers revealed themselves, he shone the light upon them.

    Well done, Sir!

Here's when the grumbling in the audience really started...And, the diseased cat emerges from the bag!

Religious bigotry is a cancer with many manifestations. ISIS, Al Qaeda, Hezbollah, Hamas, and their state sponsors like Syria and Iran, are all engaged in a vicious genocidal campaign to destroy religious minorities in the Middle East.Sometimes we are told not to lump these groups together, that we have to understand their so-called nuances and differences. But we shouldn't try to parse different manifestations of evil that are on murderous rampage through the region. Hate is hate and murder is murder.

Of course! This conference was not about the teachings of the Nazarene, but a concealed alliance of Hezbollah and allies. These chrislam parasites made a deal with the Devil to not be first on the chopping block.

TC knew of and exposed the villains.

Did the author make cruz try to turn a meeting about the extermination of Christians into a meeting about Israel? Did the author make cruz turn his back on Christians facing extermination? Look at cruz’s actions!

Let's take a look at the entire opening statement...

Good evening. Today we are gathered at a time of extraordinary challenge. Tonight we are all united in defense of Christians. Tonight we are all united in defense of Jews. Tonight we are all united in defense of people of good faith who are standing together against those who would persecute and murder those who dare to disagree with their religious teachings.

Who took offense to this? Why the islamofacists (Hezbollah) and sympathizers who funded and attended the event. TC was well aware of this hidden infection masquerading as Christians and defenders of Christianity. He walked into the parasites den and shone a light on their insideous and dishonest guise.

It's interesting how other articles take just one line from his opening statement (concerning Jews of course) and then note that boos then began. Let's take a look at the entire opening....

As for me, the Christians that I associate with would applaud this statement. Very telling (on it's own and beyond the facts).

I just posted an illuminating summary by Breitbart in response to this hit piece.

TC knew exactly what he was doing to flush out the conference funders, religious leader allies, and supporters of Hezbollah at the event.

    Well done, sir!.
