What they always leave out of these stories is that once these kids are citizens they can sponsor in all of their relatives, including the parents who broke the law to bring them in in the first place. We don’t need no stinkin’ birthright citizenship. Their relatives include their parents, grandparents, siblings, the siblings’ spouses and children, etc. Then those folks can sponsor in all their relatives. And then they can all go on welfare and SSI and Obamacare legally. The kids can get a free college education. The older ones can collect Social Security despite never having paid into the system. Really. So yes, I would happily condemn them and their parents to second-class status. Or they could return home and enjoy first class status. Their call. But no, they want to break our rules, come here, get a free ride and then stand on their moral high horse — while our politicians go along with it. Two groups of parasites.

I think that is “fake but fake but true but fake.”

NPR's own Ombudsman calls them out for dishonesty and deceit and biased reporting. NPR execs refuse to be interviewed, stonewall their own Ombudsman, and then get another Ombudsman to rebutt their own guy. This is as bad as it gets folks. With our tax money. Oh, and I love the Al Jazzera touch.

I hardly think Rep. Kline is an establishment Republican, and he is chairman. No legislation can even be brought up in committee without his say-so. Really. There is so much else to be worried about than this bill that was dead on arrival. The sponsors are thieves.

This bill is in a House Committee. All bills are assigned to a committee when they are introduced. It is a Democratic bill. Republicans control the House. Republicans control the committee. How far do you think this bill is going to go? All they have done is show their hand. They are thieves.

This is what bothers me. The press didn’t even blink and reported it like, “Golly-gee that there Obama is really, really smart.” None of them noticed that Obama’s comments are unworthy of the leader of the free world. In a real sense meaningless, offering no insight and displaying no perception. Commenting on Putin’s posture rather than addressing policy differences or conflicting principles and ideas. BO is a lightweight and Putin has his number. How shaming for our country. And our media is oblivious. The whole thing makes we want to slouch, too.

I am not buying all of this, and this guy used to be an editor at the distinctly left-wing Atlantic.

I would love to have some authentic cochinita pibil, with the pickled onions and everything. Legally, of course.

As if we needed any more proof whose side he is on. Not ours.
