  • NATO puts 300,000 troops on 'high alert' in readiness for a confrontation with Russia

Great WWIII... just what I was hoping for...
    (/sarc)

I don’t even care about the Russians now that they aren’t commies anymore. In fact they are putting up statues to Christian saints now with big crosses. So why would I want a war with them? No need to fight Christians ever again!!

I fear now that our govt is becoming the commies. That worries me.

    Only hope now is Trump.

  • So what does your gut tell you about tomorrow's election?

Felt Reagan would win both times. Just knew it.

    Felt Bush 1 would win

Wasn’t sure the 2nd time with Bush 1 because of the taxes (i.e., read my lips, no new taxes)

Felt Dole would lose. Couldn’t understand why he was pushed out as nominee.

Felt Bush 2 would win, both times - even thought 2nd time he was starting to make me angry (amnesty, big govt, patriot act, etc.)

Never liked McCain - I called him another Dole candidate. Hoped he would win, but never felt he would.

I was very ‘meh’ about Romney - and knew that he blew it after Hurricane Sandy - the man literally disappeared and let Obozo look like a hero.

I feel Trump will win, and will surprise everyone - but only if there is not massive voter fraud.

My worry? I think the corruption is so deep now that we may need a new revolution at this point to set things right. I don’t believe I’m alone thinking it - in fact from what I hear, I’m just one of many people saying it.

Correct - I remember it - they forced GHWB on Reagan’s ticket just before the convention. I was disappointed to say the least. Loved Reagan, couldn’t stand Bush.

The Bushes have been using the Reagan mantle for years while not believing in Reagan’s ideals at all.

And remember, the Globalist agenda is worth billions (possibly trillions) in crooked money - and people can be corrupted for just a few thousand dollars, imagine the power that millions of dollars has on these sociopaths.

This election shows one thing. The battle is:

    GLOBALISM vs Americanism (aka Nationalism)

Those against Trump have outed themselves as Globalists - now we know who they are. Ryan, McCain, Bill Kristol, etc. are Globalist neocons. All the Bushes are part of the globalist neocon cabal - they are not for the United States - and they will lie to you, as they have for years. Globalism is the New World Order. And Globalism is the for the destruction of our Constitution. We are betrayed and used by these demons.

For years they have waved our own flag in front of us and used our patriotism against us to establish this anti-American new world order nightmare.

Google and Yahoo go along with the liberal agenda. They have nothing to fear. Only conservatives are terrorists according to Uncle Sugar.

All of this is about selective law enforcement. You make everything illegal and then you can arrest or destroy your political enemies. Lois Lerner, is the perfect example.

That is why I want to see a very weak FedGov, and no IRS - they cannot be trusted with power. The founders knew it.

And the majority of people who gravitate towards working in the FedGov tend to be far leftist busy-bodies. Conservatives typically are not crazed control freaks.

Slovakia is a very smart country, so is Hungary.

They both have had to fight muslim invaders since the 1400’s.

If you ever heard of the military unit “Hussar’s” - they were a terror to the muslim hordes. They were formed in 1458 to fight and kill the invaders on horseback - they were known to be fearless. Most european countries still have division of Hussars, though now they drive tanks, or are a special force unit - or ceremonial.

I’ve read history about the Ottoman invasion in central europe and those people know all too well what it cost them in lives to drive those demons out. You almost need a special unit to fight these beasts.

I’m glad conservatives won’t be classified as a hate group for being against gay marriage! /sarcasm

Isn’t it just fantastic we have things like domestic government spying, and other such police state tactics to persecute those who don’t fall in line behind this govt mandate? (I guess I am still being sarcastic)

That’s why my tag says I’m against ‘big government enablers’ - all of those powers used to spy on Americans will be used against us. And who do you think the police will fight for? Conservatives, or the government that gives them their paycheck and pension? From what I see, the policing powers just do what they’re told - and if someone doesn’t cater to gays, sorry, we’ll have to seize your house or business to pay the fine.

Being pro bigger FedGov is nuts. That’s why reducing the police-state power of the FedGov is so important. That is why I am for liberty first, and security is a very distant second.

Now our strong, robust, heavily armed federal government - with all of its abilities to look into our lives can use that power to persecute those who disagree with decisions like what the Supreme Court gave us today.

Happy for supporting a strong Federal government?

This is why I am for starving the beast - we have no moral right to police anyone anymore. Not when what we stand for is this thoroughly corrupt.

This is again a situation of ‘the road to hell is paved with good intentions.’

War on drugs, war on terror, war on war - human beings will always do screwed up things, but they have convinced us they can get rid of drugs, get rid of terror, get rid of war. Except they say - we have to control and regulate and strip search you to do it. That is the big lie. As long as there are people there will be alcoholics, drug addicts, terrorists and war. But how can you get elected by telling idiots the truth?

This money reporting isn’t going to stop anyone except normal people trying to live there own lives. Plus it makes so many things illegal it is easy to stifle free speech, for fear you might be targeted (remember Lois Lerner) and hit with hundreds of thousand of laws and then persecuted by a federal authority and destroyed.

There is an easy answer - this is all globalism. Both parties are pushing for ‘global harmony’ - which means ‘global tyranny.’

The big corporate interests are socialists - they are NOT for the free market.

They are not loyal to the USA. (look at Apple, Microsoft, etc. they are progressives ie socialists)

I woke up from this in around 2005 when I realized that the Republicans were not serious about any war on terror when the borders were wide open and they were settling muslims here and calling islam the religion of peace.

When Government (like ours) becomes monster sized - and corporations become enmeshed with it. This kills a free market.

King began actively supporting the Irish republican movement in the late 1970s. He frequently traveled to Northern Ireland to meet with senior members of the Provisional Irish Republican Army (IRA), many of whom he counted as friends.

King became involved with NORAID, an organization that the British, Irish and U.S. governments had accused of financing IRA activities and providing them with weapons. Regarding the 30 years of violence during which the IRA killed over 1,700 people, mainly combatants, including Lord Mountbatten, Lord Kaberry, Sir Anthony Berry MP and over 500 civilians, King said, "If civilians are killed in an attack on a military installation, it is certainly regrettable, but I will not morally blame the IRA for it."

Strip our investigative agencies of their ability to gather intelligence and the figures you cite will dramatically change. When people tell you they want to kill you, it is wise to believe them.

Ha! I'll bet they want to kill me - I'm christian and not willing to bow to anyone (including govt employees with delusions of grandeur). And if they really cared about security - why are our borders WIDE open. None of this is for our security,

I don't think anyone is stripping anything here: A judge will still be able to grant as many wire taps as the govt wants - that is legal and constitutional. It's plainly in the 4th amendment. I just think BAFTA, EPA, IRS, and other alphabet agencies won't have a database to round up the conservatives, gun owners, and christians when the time comes time to do so... why make it so easy for a leftist, socialist FedGov bureaucracy to have our private info?

As for me, one of my ancestors was at Valley Forge - I honor him by not becoming a coward. If they kill some of us, well, that's the price you pay if you want a free country.

Also, the founding fathers had the terrorist British attack and burn down Washington DC (including the White House) - they never thought to strip us of our rights! But they were men back then - not scared adult-children begging for someone to protect them. I've broken bones, gashed limbs, etc. Never thought to sue anyone or ask someone to protect me. Why is America great - because we stand for liberty - or because we are powerful?

We are exceptional because we stand for liberty - that is why we have a ‘Statue of Liberty’ - it is also called ‘Liberty Enlightening the World’

We don’t have a statue of ‘Cringing Security.’

Or a statue of ‘Oohh Mommy government please protect us scared servile civilians’

Remember those words - ‘Home of the Brave’ - does that even mean anything anymore?

Brave people stand up for liberty, and take the consequences. We keep our liberty intact and openly defend it. We don’t curl up in a fetal position and beg the FedGov to save us.

And, by the way, more people die in car accidents every year than have ever been killed by a terrorist. Yet why are we so desperately willing to give up our liberty for such a puny, sad little number.

Finally some stats to show what we should be scared of - frankly I laughed when I saw that we’re ‘6 times more likely to die from hot weather than a terrorist attack! Seriously, the wimpification of America has apparently succeeded!

    The stats from 2011:

    — You are 17,600 times more likely to die from heart disease than from a terrorist attack

    — You are 12,571 times more likely to die from cancer than from a terrorist attack

    — You are 11,000 times more likely to die in an airplane accident than from a terrorist plot involving an airplane

    — You are 1048 times more likely to die from a car accident than from a terrorist attack

—You are 404 times more likely to die in a fall than from a terrorist attack

    — You are 87 times more likely to drown than die in a terrorist attack

    — You are 13 times more likely to die in a railway accident than from a terrorist attack

—You are 12 times more likely to die from accidental suffocation in bed than from a terrorist attack

—You are 9 times more likely to choke to death on your own vomit than die in a terrorist attack

—You are 8 times more likely to be killed by a police officer than by a terrorist

You mean a politician cares about the constitution and the fourth amendment? Can’t be true... We need more control by our masters in the FedGov. How dare we think we have privacy rights - or to own guns... we need to be safe - because we are so scared. (our founders would laugh at our cowardly bowing and scraping to the FedGov machine)

This will make it difficult to do things like use a database of gun owners so the BAFTA can round up gun owners.

Or track anyone who disagrees with Lois Lerner.

Or has who has posted they don’t like the gay nazi’s - remember that is a hate crime in our brave new Federal government world.

How will they track down conservative republicans for extra IRS scrutiny if they don’t have a database of Americans private communications?

That happened to my company, and my Fathers company. The State Comp just outright locked my accounts and I had to find out from my bank that the State was involved. Turns out they received the sales tax's two days before this happened and five days before it was due. But hey, they were exercising their power. Literally.

I still have that letter of apology with the state header. Framed! Now I keep most of my funds out of the banks. Some in other states where local Comptrollers cannot touch it without a proper court order.

    ——————————————————————————————

I have heard so many tales of this - its why I keep all records and have insurance that pays for tax lawyers. I also don't keep funds in only one bank like you said. I have seen a friend become penniless and unable to hire a lawyer based on a 'mistake' by the IRS. By the time he was done proving his innocence his business was destroyed and he lost his home. A 'sorry' just doesn't cut it.

Not to mention someone else who had a freelancer (who only worked for her for 2 weeks) file as an employee for workman's comp which triggered an endless audit. She finally just closed her business as the only way to save her sanity. Now she is unemployed and relies on her husband.

Land of the Free? Home of the Brave?

No wonder we're screwed as a country now.

Also I am so sick of people who talk about 'tax cheats' when the IRS are the biggest crooks, terrorists and lying scum. How we don't openly revolt about this criminal organization is beyond me. I'd rather deal with the Mafia than these criminals.

And now they want to bring in a new illegal alien underclass and give them the 'blood money' extorted from working Americans. Seriously, what the hell is going on here??

Where is the special prosecutor? If this was an investigation by the IRS against a middle class American who had lost their records that American would be locked in a prison - life destroyed - for 20 years.

But we keep defending this hopelessly corrupt Federal Monster and their endless powers. The real war on terror should be waged against the IRS.

The IRS has been a criminal organization for some time. In fact even the courts have been corrupted by this group - the law says, innocent until proven guilty, but in the upside down world of tax court you are guilty until proven innocent. Otherwise how are they able to confiscate property first before there is any judgement.

The people they have driven to suicide. Lives ruined. Family homes, farms, seized. And meanwhile our Federal government promotes anti-christian agendas that are funded by the terrorist, extortion tactics of the IRS.

I would say you must be a satanist if you support the IRS. You must truly be an evil, soulless person to have sympathy for that crew of demons.

    Good on you!

It surprised me how well it worked as I had no expectations. I quit because I noticed increase heart rate and some coughing.

Now, heart rate down and no coughing at all. E cigs are close to a miracle.

My only caveat are the ones that you buy from the gas stations, like Blu, etc. taste like garbage. I would never have quit if I didn’t find a liquid I liked - I think that is the trick.

I went on an e-cig forum and did a bit of research. Also I hate the fruity flavored liquids, although if that works, more power to it!

Real cigarettes just don’t do it for me anymore. Can’t believe I’m saying that now!

Frankly, I don’t recognize this country anymore.

A friend told me what communism looked like in eastern europe. They said it wasn’t visible like tanks in the streets, or men in trench coats, or marching thugs.

What communism came down to was that the government was involved in everything you did. Either via a law, or a tax or a regulation, or an ordinance - and that they COULD get involved (if they wished) in anything you did.

    Hmmm… seems familiar.

It’s legal overreach - and again, everything they did under communism (and nazism) was fully legal.

It’s a money grab - no tax money on this one, yet. Also the liquid can be made by yourself at home. No need for a giant socialist megacorp to make it.

So let’s regulate it. Lots of work for lawyers, lobbyists, politicians and the associated graft.

Let’s not forget that it is cheap and healthy alternative to quit smoking - as opposed to nic patches, nic gum - or the big pharma, mind altering, “chantix” - aka the suicidal ideation pill. Also Chantix has lousy long term results for quitting.

The level of control freakishness and corruption on this issue just astonishes me.

Disclosure: Vaping e-digs is the only thing that got me off smoking a pack a day. Do I feel healthier - hell yes! It’s cheap and I can easily taper the nicotine level when I want. Also I do not use the crummy gas station versions. I use Johnson Creek Tennessee Cured liquid @ 2.4% nicotine, a CE4 clearomizer with an EGO™ Battery. I wasn’t even trying to quit, and within 2 days I had no interest in cigarettes - I would never have believed it if it hadn’t happened to me.

You are probably right - very few understand the problem with case law. Specifically “Stare Decisis” (everyone google that term and be aware of this problem child made of legal custom that is not enshrined in the constitution, but is agreed to by those in the profession, i.e. our rulers).

This bit of insanity means you are stuck under bad case law, as well as good, so as not to rock the boat. This is why the IRS can seize your goods before you are convicted. This is why FDR’s packing of the supreme court to then wildly re-interpret the interstate commerce clause has led to the bloated FedGov we know today.

Yes know the bad part of common law. There is good, but stare decisis is lately the creature of lawyers and tyrants.

That analogy of the robber who “gives back” some of the money they stole is spot on!

Some have called the government we have a kleptocracy. But it is our problem - we had faith in these crooks because they waved the flag at us. I voted for GWB and believed that he was the 2nd coming of Reagan - but that was because the GOPe sold that to us - I was a trusting RUBE!!

But I am a rube no more. Only those who seriously act to dismantle the centrally planned FedGov have my vote. I’m not falling for their “wedge issue” BS (look up wedge issue to see how we are played for fools).

Defund the Fed. Give the states back their control. Government should be as local as possible - so you can yell at someone nearby if they oppress you.

And no more BS wars unless we go ALL IN with an act of congress - either we are in a state of WAR or we are NOT. No endless wars on everything that never end and only make the beast that oppresses us stronger.

And as for the Patriot Act - that act was put in place to oppress free people and christian conservatives. We were SUCKERS to believe it was for anyone else.

As we have seen at the Bundy ranch - we need a conservative who will dismantle the Federal government. The Government has 2 useful purposes - one is to defend out borders - the borders we have, right here. Not trying to build democracies with muslims whose religion makes it impossible to have a system like we do. Again - borders, right here. Simple, yes?

The second is to defend the constitution by PROTECTING our citizen’s natural rights to be FREE!!! That means making sure we are not OPPRESSED by government!!! (i.e. BLM, IRS, Homeland Security, Education Dept, BATFE, NSA, etc.) Most of our budget goes to oppressing our own citizens.

We need to strip the FedGov to the bare bones - these agencies do everything but defend our liberties.

Probably right (hopefully) - ‘cause if it really is a stolen 777 there is all kind of mischievous that that could be used for.

But this definitely is a weird one! Typically a crash involves a fire and/or swaths of floating debris. If it crashed on land there would be smoke.

Also, the Malaysian government seems hell bent on issuing odd and/or confusing statements.

The weirdness of this situation is what is setting everyone off. Certainly the spy agencies are now running through possible scenarios - as they should be doing that - it’s what they’re paid for.

I don’t think it went to Iran, too much coverage by AWACs, satellites, etc.

If anything, I think it landed at Banda Aceh (it has an airport that can land 747’s) which is on the western tip of the south island - and also is a bit ‘separatist’ (extremist) government and has sharia law - which tells you a lot.

Then they dumped the passengers (ow hostages, or dead), then refueled and flew to Africa, to a muslim friendly country, where there is very little radar coverage. And that probably happened four days ago.

Also, the Malaysian government has been very unhelpful, so I think they are in on it. I am also guessing the flight crew was in on it.

What they will do with a very big, ‘heavy’ aircraft that has a 7,000 nm range is anyone’s guess. But I would imagine it isn’t good.

Also the flight went (conveniently) in the middle of the night so there was a lot of time to do what they needed to do under the cover of darkness.

It’s what I would do if I was up to no good!

The Saudis are not to be trusted - the 9/11 hijackers were mostly Saudis. The Saudi were trying to get us to spill American blood in Syria, basically paying us to be their errand boy. They have there hooks in a bunch of people, and especially in the GOPe.

I personally don’t trust any of these middle eastern lunatics. But we have politicians in bed with them because there is so much money involved. Just like the Chamber of Commerce willing to destroy the USA on immigration. Money.

Our ‘leaders’ are simply cheap whores. DC should be flushed. Federal power eradicated.

I used to defend big business until I realized big corporate multinationals were nothing more than socialist fiefdoms.

I only support small to medium size business now. The giant corps(es) are deep in bed with government with it soul killing regulations.

I also can’t stand neocons either. They’re just democrats who like the military and call themselves republicans.

Government needs to be kneecapped. They aren’t on our side, and they use us by using our patriotism against us. They think we are stupid rubes.
