Memo to governor's office outlines partisan Internet site BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) -- A confidential memo addressed to Gov. Kathleen Blanco's communications chief outlined a strategy for developing an anonymous Web site that would espouse the politics and positions of Louisiana's top Democrats, according to copies of the four-page document circulated Thursday. The proposed Web site would be used to counterbalance Republican messages becoming more organized and prevalent around Louisiana, according to the memo, which is addressed from John Copes to Bob Mann, a friend of Copes' and Blanco's communications director. "Currently, Democrats have no comparable structure from which to...

FRiends, I am desperate. Me, middle-aged stay-at-home mom, has gone back to college after 25 years. I'm risking this vanity because if this doesn't work, I think I will drop out because if I can't understand this computer crap - how will I ever become a nurse? Flame me if you've got nothing better to do - but honestly, no one can upset me more...

On 11/9/04 Larry Elder had Stephen Miller on his radio show. What they talked about completely floored me. Stephen is a student at Duke and is trying to call attention to the abominable actions being taken on that campus to actively recruit future terrorists (with the President's blessing, no less). The bottom line of Stephen's chilling article is this: "America is the midst of a war on terror, where in the end we will either meet victory or death. And as we are engaged in this life and death struggle, Duke just gave its time, money, resources, space, and student...
