    No on McChrystal.

    1) He’s a Dem.
    2) Voted for Obama
    3) Was the superior in charge when Pat Tillman died.

I know Terry Branstad. My relatives worked for Branstad. His original retirement was the worst thing that could have happened to Iowa.

Now Culver, the current governor, has signed into law gay marriage, increased taxes, and they are in trouble with the budget - basically undoing everything Branstad did as governor.

Iowa has to go back Republican. Branstad gives them the best chance of it, which will take away electoral votes in 2012 from Odummy.

  • VIDEO: Obama Rained Out Of Memorial Day Ceremony In IL

On February 27th, 2009, I stood out in the snow while organizing the tea party in Omaha.

On April 15th, 2010, I stood out in the pouring rain while at the tea party in Lincoln.

Obama, afraid the teleprompter might short out and leave him speechless, cancels his Memorial Day celebration.

If I were the one that needed to honor our fallen, I’d have been out there, damn the weather.

    Obama is a disgrace.

    Yes, you should.

Nicki Haley is a conservative running for South Carolina Governor to replace Mark “Evita” Sanford. She has been endorsed by Palin.

Will Folks is a blogger who claims he had an affair with Haley.

Erick Erickson is the owner of and is now a CNN contributor.

If Erickson is right, and this is a political hit and a lie by Folks, and it is being funded by someone with a big name, that person is going to get tarred and feathered by South Carolina Republicans.

According to what I’ve seen, it was McMahon’s team that sent the information to the New York Times., then they timed their YouTube video to appear just as the story broke that the lead story in the Times would be the lies of Blumenthal.

This points out a very important rule - never, ever try dirty tricks against someone who made a living of doing them. Linda’s husband, Vince, is a master of them.

  • AVATAR, V For Vendetta, and leftist content in this weekend's new movies

    Lightfinger to South40

I’m going to disagree with your rant about V for Vendetta, so bear with me.

Yes, the original graphic novel, and Alan Moore, wrote the book as anti-Thatcher. The movie, however, came out differently and it became much more of a libertarian movie than I think Hollywood wanted. That’s why I use the V mask as my avatar in many places.

Let’s take a look at the plot:

    1) Government uses a trumped-up crisis in health care and a mocked up virus in order to take control of health care.

    2) Government uses further crisis to take away more and more of the people’s freedoms.

    3) Government takes control of the economy.

    4) Government arrests those vocal opponents and tries to make them ‘disappear’. V, the antagonist in the movie, is one of them. He is experimented upon, but like Number 6 in the Prisoner, he resists.

    5) V strikes back at the government, not because he wants to, but because the sheep have no guts to do so. Eventually, like the original tea party in Boston, people wake up.

    6) V eventually destroys the Parliament building (thus the Guy Fawkes mask), as he dies, passing along his job of taking down the government to Evey. However, as he is doing so, the people take to the streets...PEACEFULLY, though wearing the masks. Look at the movie - they don’t act. They are showing they are a formerly silent majority that are fed up. Sound familiar?

V was created long before anyone knew who Osama Bin Laden was. Don’t fall for the bs that there is a correlation between the two. V does act as a terrorist, but isn’t that what the tea parties are already being labeled as, even though we are that peaceful, formerly silent majority.

Seems to me Fox pulled Hannity because of the money issue.

Certain conservative talk shows have been hammering Hannity for his seeming money-grubbing when it comes to things like the tea party rallies he attends. Fox probably balked when they found out there was money being charged for his Cinci appearance, and it wasn’t going to go to charity.

  • Bernanke Sees Little Inflation Threat (Let's keep this one out there and check it in one year)

    04/15/2010 9:33:51 AM PDT · 20 of 23
    Lightfinger to NC28203

The Clinton Administration changed the way inflation is measured.

Food and energy, the two most volatile measures, are no longer factored into inflation. That means the two most affected items due to cap and trade will not appear in the inflation index.

In addition, any sort of Value Added Tax will also not appear in the inflation rates. That manipulation is already taking place. Thus, a 10% VAT, which is a straight 10% inflation increase in reality, won’t show up.

My standard of living has already dropped this year. I’m already working paycheck to paycheck. This false reporting, combined with a wage freeze due to this falsehood, is hurting bad, and I am sick and tired of it. has the REAL rates of inflation and unemployment.

The Ritz-Carlton on the lake is just the latest hotel to have money issues in Vegas.

There is the one on the strip that can’t get completed, due to both incompetence and lack of funding. Trump’s little tower isn’t selling out like they thought it would. Neonopolis still can’t get together the funding to build the new Star Trek Experience downtown, while the Hilton (where it used to be) still hasn’t been able to replace it ever since the star performer they were targeting came down with a case of death (Michael Jackson).

I worked for Oriental Trading Company just before and after he sold his stake in the company.

As an employer, he was one of the best - he always treated his employees well, considering the crappy job they have having to deal with inbound customers buying junk for their carnivals.

However, he was always a spendthrift. Back when I worked for him, he was a Republican by the way, until the rumors spread about his ‘lifestyle’ choices, and then he switched to Democrat...just like Andrew Sullivan, shall we say for the same reasons.

Harrah’s owns two casinos in Iowa just across from Omaha. Since Harrah’s also owns 1/3 of all casinos in Vegas, I’m sure the Omaha branch relayed to Vegas what their biggest ‘whale’ preferred while in Omaha, and then the Vegas crew provided Terry it.

Terry’s just trying to get out of his debt, proving he’s fully devolved into a Democrat. Maybe, he’ll now run for office so he can be elected like the other crooks.

The three ‘Davids’ (Frum, Brooks, Gergen) are all referred to as ‘conservatives’ by the media.

All three are only called that because they are registered Republicans.

They do not, nor really have ever, speak from the real conservative viewpoint. But, the media loves them because they are always critical of real conservatives.

If you are unwilling to part with the NFL, here is a suggestion:

Part with just the game on Sunday night.

Why that specific game? Because it is shown by NBC, who still has not apologized or retracted statements about the Soros-generated ‘slavery’ quote, plus has Keithy Olberdork on the pregame and halftime show.

NBC is already in financial trouble, help put a nail in its coffin and tank their Sunday night ratings, and actually go do something with your family on Sunday night.
