I wasn't going to bother anyone with a personal post, but I believe in the power of group prayers and I really need yours for my mother. She's 84 and has been in ICU since Friday. Two weeks ago she and my 93 year old dad both fell. He's healing and should be able to walk again before long, but my mom's frail, has been on oxygen for 10 years since her open heart surgery and has been struggling. Last week Dad called my sister and me to come up, saying she wasn't doing well. They live in the country...

MANCHESTER, New Hampshire (Reuters) - Sarah Palin urged Tea Party members on Monday to avoid infighting and focus on removing President Barack Obama from office. The former Alaska governor and Republican vice presidential candidate, speaking at a Tea Party rally in Manchester, New Hampshire, also continued to tease supporters on whether she would join the Republican presidential competition. "This is not the time to hunker down and preach to the choir," she said. "Now is the time to grow this movement." Her comments followed a protest on Sunday by FreedomWorks, a force behind the Tea Party movement, aiming to prevent...

Throughout Islam's history, whenever a region was conquered, one of the first signs of consolidation was/is the erection of a mosque atop the sacred sites of the vanquished: the pagan Ka'ba temple in Arabia was converted into Islam's holiest site, the mosque of Mecca; the al-Aqsa mosque, Islam's third holiest site, was built atop Solomon's temple in Jerusalem; the Umayyad mosque was built atop the Church of St. John the Baptist; and the Hagia Sophia was converted into a mosque upon the conquest of Constantinople. As for the literal wording of the mosque project, "Cordoba House," it offers opposing paradigms...

Erick Stakelbeck asserts that the Obama administration is concealing the true magnitude of the threat of terrorist attack on U.S. soil. He makes his case using interviews with covert operatives and people he says are terrorists with links to al-Qaeda. He also cites the existence of radical mosques and Islamic enclaves in the U.S. as proof of a high threat of another attack in the making. He talks with former U.S.Congressman from Iowa and radio host Fred Grandy.

There is no lack of antisemites today. But it is very hard to talk about the identity of the vast majority of them. Indeed, Yale University has just revamped its institute on antisemitism, apparently because it spent too much time talking about the overwhelming problem with antisemitism today–Islamic and especially Islamist antisemitism. In other words, the real antisemites are whitewashed, while those fighting antisemitism are called antisemites. The supporters of Israel are called enemies of Israel by those who themselves are generally enemies of Israel. The truth is the exact opposite of what Milbank wrote. Beck is the leading purveyor...
  • Geert Wilders Repeats His Warning About Islamization

On May 9, 2011 Geert Wilders spoke to The International Free Press Society (IFPS-Canada) in Toronto. He gave a serious warning to his audience about the Islamic threat to Western democracies. The video below contains much of his remarks. The event took place at Canadian Christian College. This was a warning about the effects of multiculturalism gone wild, and many were angered by the IFPS giving him the opportunity to speak in Canada. On Wednesday, May 11, the IFPS ran a post on their website with the accurate headline, "Geert Wilders' presence angers freespeechphobes."

Based on a true story - In April, 2004, casualties mount in Iraq. At Quantico, choices focus on increasing troop strength or only replacing casualties. Lt. Col. Mike Strobl crunches numbers. Stung by his superior's rejection of his recommendation because he lacks recent combat experience, Strobl volunteers for escort duty, accompanying the remains Pfc. Chance Phelps, killed at 19. From Dover to Philadelphia by hearse, from there to Minneapolis and on to Billings by plane, and then by car to Phelps' Wyoming home - person after person pays respects. Kind words, small gifts, and gratitude are given Strobl to deliver...
  • Drake v. Obama - Oral Arguments

The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals heard arguments in Drake v. Obama, a case questioning whether President Barack Obama was born in the United States and is eligible to serve as president. Wiley Drake, a former vice presidential candidate in 2008 and former presidential candidate Alan Keyes, are two of the lead plaintiffs challenging the validity of President Obama's birth certificate. A lower court dismissed this case ruling that the Court is not the proper place to challenge a president's election.
  • Jon Stewart Loses (Repeatedly) to David Barton - A Must See!

The best interview smack-down of Jon Stewart ever - Constitutional scholar/historian/evangelist David Barton (frequent Glenn Back guest and 8/28 participant) disproves all of Stewart's research and efforts to erase religion from our founding history. This is a 3-part extended interview. If it's not still featured in the main screen, there should be a link on that page to view it (5/4/2011) A great watch!!!
  • What is a Natural-Born Citizen?

No wonder so many people are confused, or ignorant, about this subject and its Constitutional importance relative to Presidential eligibility. This first link - http://www.c-spanvideo.org/program/PlaceR - is a 9 min. interview with Peter Spiro, a Temple University law professor, by the day's cspan moderator. Listen to the questions and his answers. Sheesh. Here's another link to the Washington Journal segment that followed, with call-ins and emails, titled, "Should U.S. presidents be 'natural born' citizens?" http://www.c-spanvideo.org/program/OpenPhones7290 Should? Should??? Folks, this is what we're up against - ignorance, misinformation, apathy or a combination thereof.

    The Daily Caller ^ | 04/15/2011 | Jonathan Strong
Jon Huntsman, President Obama’s outgoing ambassador to China, is considering running against his boss in 2012 as a Republican. But two handwritten letters from Huntsman obtained by The Daily Caller raise the question of why he’s not campaigning for Obama instead. “You are a remarkable leader,” Huntsman wrote to Obama in an Aug. 16, 2009 note, underlining the word “remarkable,” “and it has been a great honor getting to know you.” The letter thanks Obama for “the graciousness and kindness you have shown me and my family – particularly your confidence in my ability to represent you in China.” Huntsman...

My pal Glenn Beck is leaving his program on the Fox News Channel later this year. This has caused great joy among some uber-liberals who object to free speech as well as to anything Beck. The Media Matters outfit took just seconds to misstate why Beck is changing venues, but what else is new? George Soros partially funds Media Matters, so why would the website ever say anything truthful when far left propaganda is so much easier to dish? When you get past all the rubbish, Glenn Beck is really Norm, the guy on the sitcom "Cheers." He sits on...

Fact - The natural born citizenship clause of the Constitution requires both parents to be American citizens at the time of a child’s birth in order for that child to be eligible for the Presidency. Mr. Obama has already admitted that at birth he had dual citizenship from his father, a British subject, and his mother, an American citizen. This is irrespective of birth place. A dual citizens’ allegiance is inherently divided. The Constitution requires singular allegiance to the United States at birth. Fact - Mr. Obama admits he was adopted by an Indonesian national and became an Indonesian citizen...
