On your census form and other forms you fill out, gun purchase, etc... put down "Native American", that is if you were born in the states, which makes you a Native or indigenous American, or a "Local National" as we call Iraqis. If you were not born in the states, then you are a foreigner or an "African-American, German-American, Japanese-American", a hyphenated-American.Go ahead and do it, put down Native-American, I have been doing that all summer long.

"I was stunned that this would happen," Kunkle said at a news conference. The police chief added: "In my world, you would never tell someone not to speak Spanish." The bogus citations – there is no law requiring Dallas residents to speak English – came to light after it was revealed that a rookie officer, Gary Bromley, had issued a citation on Oct. 2 to Ernestina Mondragon for being a non-English-speaking driver.

PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla. -- CBS Sports golf analyst David Feherty came under sharp criticism Saturday for a joke he wrote in a Dallas magazine article that suggested American soldiers would be just as likely to knock off House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Leader Harry Reid as they would Osama bin Laden.

The government is going to want some of that money back. The tax credit is supposed to provide up to $400 to individuals and $800 to married couples as part of the massive economic recovery package enacted in February. Most workers started receiving the credit through small increases in their paychecks in the past month.

The answers reveal a Senate with surprising alliances, close friendships and some personal resentments. After Kennedy, the most bipartisan Democrats are Sens. Tom Carper (Del.), Chris Dodd (Conn.), Evan Bayh (Ind.) and Tom Harkin (Iowa). Following Collins on the GOP side are Sens. Olympia Snowe (Maine), Orrin Hatch (Utah), Richard Lugar (Ind.) and John McCain (Ariz.). Sen. Arlen Specter (R-Pa.) did not make the top five despite voting for President Obama’s economic stimulus package. Collins and Snowe were the only other Republicans in Congress to back that bill. Sens. Ben Nelson (D-Neb.) and Mary Landrieu (D-La.) regularly buck their party,...

  • Angie Harmon: I'm Not Racist Because I Disagree With Obama

Angie Harmon is not afraid to come out and say she doesn’t like how President Obama is handling the job — but she’s sick of having to defend herself from being deemed a racist. "Here's my problem with this, I'm just going to come out and say it. If I have anything to say against Obama it's not because I'm a racist, it's because I don't like what he's doing as President and anybody should be able to feel that way, but what I find now is that if you say anything against him you're called a racist," Harmon told...

JUNEAU, Alaska – Ted Johnson planned on using a set of logs to a build a cabin in Alaska's interior. Instead he'll burn some of them to stay warm. Extreme temperatures — in Johnson's case about 60 below zero — call for extreme measures in a statewide cold snap so frigid that temperatures have grounded planes, disabled cars, frozen water pipes and even canceled several championship cross country ski races.

The Democrats claim their foremost theme is to fight for the ordinary folk, American (am I right or wrong?). They do great damage to their “ordinary folk” by shirking their duty. That basic duty is to defend America. Why are they so afraid, so cowardly lion-like to confront the bad guys in this world? Appeasement begets and breeds more violent hostility to all things American. Feel free to give your guesswork if you wish. Democrats are so damn afraid and cowardly to say to the terrorists and other beings that threaten American interests and way of life (Venezeluas Chavez), “We...

Incident at Pepsi Center leads to father’s arrest A 38-year-old Lockport father was arrested Friday after he dragged a 10- year-old hockey player off the ice at the Pepsi Center because the boy wouldn’t stop firing pucks near the man and his young son, Amherst police said. The incident started at about 10 a.m. Friday during an open hockeyskills practice at the Amherst Pepsi Center, Police Lt. Rick Walter said. The 10-year-old boy was on the ice shooting pucks, and Charles M. Schmidl thought the boy’s pucks were coming too close to him and his young son, Walter said. Several...

SELLS, Arizona (Reuters) - An elite group of Native American trackers that use skills handed down from the ancestral hunt is being tapped to play a larger role in securing the United States' borders. ADVERTISEMENT Little known outside law enforcement circles, the Shadow Wolves have hunted drug and human traffickers on a lonely stretch of the Arizona-Mexico border southwest of Tucson since the 1970s.In an age of unmanned aerial surveillance drones, video cameras and electronic sensors on the borders, the 14-member unit uses age-old "sign cutting" techniques to follow foot, horse and vehicle trails for miles across the cactus-studded wastes...

THANKSGIVING PRAYER FOR OUR SOLDIERS Today we gather around the dinner table with family and friends to share good food, warm laughter, and the happy memories of Thanksgivings past. But for many families, whose loved ones serve in the Armed Forces, this year's Thanksgiving celebration will not be complete. A familiar voice will not be heard and a chair at the table will remain empty because, they have someone far from home serving our country. Today also, members of the Army, Marines, Navy, Airforce and Coastguard (men and women, Active Duty, Reserve and National Guard alike) will gather in mess...

Bosnia and Herzegovina After the breakup of Communist Yugoslavia, Bosnia and Herzegovina was torn apart by a civil war between Bosnians (Bosnian Muslims), Serbs, and Croats from 1992 to 1995. The war resulted in the deaths of many thousands of persons and the displacement and impoverishment of large parts of the population. A desperate Bosnian-dominated Bosnian government, facing an international arms embargo and outgunned by breakaway Bosnian Serb forces, accepted the help of Iran, as well as several thousand Islamic radicals, mercenaries, and others. The 1995 Dayton Peace Accords, which ended the conflict, required all foreign forces to leave Bosnia....

Bosnian capital shaken by radical Islam by Rusmir SmajilhodzicFri Jun 16, 12:33 PM ET The people of Sarajevo, renowned for their pluralism, have been shaken after a series of incidents including the murder of a Muslim woman by her Islamic extremist son who questioned her faith. Upholders of Bosnia's moderate version of Islam say the problem caused by an influx of hardline fighters during the country's 1992-1995 war has worsened in recent months, highlighted by the gruesome murder. "Bosnia's tradition of Islam is tolerant, it promotes pluralism and we should not allow those representing a one-track ideology to...

Subject: Ireland Declares War on France Jacques Chirac, The French President, is sitting in his office when his telephone rings. "Hallo, Mr. Chirac!" a heavily accented voice said. "This is Paddy Down at the Harp Pub in County Clare, Ireland. I am ringing to inform you that we are officially declaring war on you!" "Well, Paddy," Chirac replied, "This is indeed important news! How big is your army?" "Right now," says Paddy, after a moment's calculation, "there is myself, me Cousin Sean, me next door neighbour Seamus, and the entire darts team from the pub. That makes eight!" Chirac paused....
