  • Federalist 33, The Elastic Clause and The Democrat Tenet

Two articles caught my attention this week. The first was Christian Adams writing at PJ Media. Remember Christian, the DOJ attorney in the Civil Rights Department who resigned during the squalor of the New Black Panther Party's absolution of the already-adjudged guilty, crime of voter intimidation at a Philadelphia polling place in the 2008 elections? Mr. Adams spoke at Emory University recently, and encountered a student who defended Obama's power overreach under the "Elastic Clause," and a female student -- an officer of Campus Democrats -- who cited the Constitution's presidential authority to act when Congress doesn't. Alexander Hamilton by...

NBC is reporting that Adam Lanza did not take rifles inside Sandy Hook Elementary School. He did not use a rifle, deemed an "assault weapon" by the administration and media to kill and wound. To repeat, no rifles were found inside the school. Lanza reportedly had four handguns with him. How many of those handguns were used in the killings isn't known, or at least is not included in this report. (NBC video linked below) The correspondent [in the video below] makes it clear over and over again that he confirmed this information with federal and state officials. Now, a...
  • Accepting Pedphiles and all Varied Paraphilia: The Hebes and Ephebs

In August 2011 I posted an article titled Academia Normalizing Pedophiles With Minor-Attracted Persons: Hebephile, Ephebophiles and Pedophiles. The Hebes and the Ephebs were new to me. "Hebe" was the goddess of youth and cupbearer for the gods; Epheb, also from Greek mythology, and generally referring to an adolescent, but who knew this ancient mythololgy could legitimize the abuse of our children in the 21st Century. I missed most talk radio this week, but a reader emailed and told me Rush Limbaugh was talking about Academia and Pedophilia and their attempts to drag it into accepted mainstream thinking, and the...
  • Boy Wounds Intruder With AR-15: R.C. Soles Anti-Gun Politician Shoots "Client" - More to Soles Story

The 15-year old boy is the son of a deputy "constable" in the Houston area. He and his 12 year old sister were alone in the home. He grabbed his father's AR-15 and pulled the trigger. The gun did not shoot by itself, contrary to the usual liberal screed. The gun was used to do what it is intended to do, protect the owner. In North Carolina, State Senator R. C. Soles, a Democrat and an attorney, with a long record of supporting anti-gun legislation, shot at two men, former clients, on his property, hitting one of them with his...

I've used 'bwahahahaha' several times recently in response to Liberal hypocrisy, so can't use it this time. Mother Jones says this "invite-only and off-the record" meeting is the kind that "conspiratorial conservative bloggers dream about." Those in the meeting pledged BIG MONEY to supposedly remove BIG MONEY from the politics they are trying so hard to dominate. The whole affair is known as the "Democracy Initiative." At the end of the day, many of the attendees closed with a pledge of money and staff resources to build a national, coordinated campaign around three goals: getting big money out of politics, expanding...
  • Hobby Lobby a Cash Cow for Obama or Maybe Oklahoma is too Red?

Companies owned by Catholics and Protestants have received temporary ObamaCare injunctions. The injunction requested by Oklahoma's Hobby Lobby and Mardel stores was rejected. Oklahoma is the only state where every county, all 77, voted against Barack Obama. Maybe that's the problem, or maybe the problem is the Cash Cow Status of Hobby Lobby, which is required to pay a fine of $1.3 Million PER DAY if they refuse to pay for birth control and abortions (the morning after, and the week after pill) for employees under their self-insured health care programs. The fines are not designated to pay down the...
  • Jim Bridenstine's Votes: Principled, Constitutional vs UnFriendly, Symbolic

U.S. House Freshman from Oklahoma, Congressman Jim Bridenstine (R), was sworn into office on January 3, 2013. His first vote was the same day, for Speaker of the House. He cast his vote not to return the gavel to John Boehner. It takes some courage to raise your hand, swear your oath of office, and immediately vote against leadership. Bridenstine did that. After securing a seat on the House Armed Services Committee, and the Science, Space and Technology Committee, the question is, will Bridenstine be allowed to keep his Committee seats? Opposing Boehner's agenda has brought loss of committee seats for...

The Miami Herald is reporting Hugo Chávez early demise was recognized long before the rest of the world was privvy to the details of a late diagnosed and lethal cancer. With the help of Cuban brothers Fidel and Raúl, and Chávez' hand-picked successor Nicolás Maduro, the Venezuelan presidential election was moved from December 2012 to October 2012, two months that the report says were crucial. In October Chávez could still stand before his supporters to applaud his re-election, but there was no certainty that he could do so in December. He returned to Cuba for a fourth round of cancer treatments in early...
  • List of Famous Columbians - Obama's Name Still Missing: Is There a List of Infamous Columbians?

    Maggie's Notebook ^ | 9-18-12 | Maggie@MaggiesNotebook
I posted on Wayne Allyn Root in November 2009 and his site led to a page of "Famous Columbians," listing graduates of Columbia University who are famous. Root graduated Columbia in the same class as Barack Obama, 1983, political science and pre-law. He didn't know Obama, and according to Root, none of his friends knew him. This list of famous Columbians has many familiar names on it, but the present President of the United States is not there, nor is the current President of the United States who is a Nobel Prize winner there. At the time I found the...
  • Imprisoned Omar Abdel Rahman Brigades: Benghazi Red Cross, US Consulate Targeted in June

The "Imprisoned Omar Abdel Rahman Brigades" wanted/wants the release of the Blind Sheik, Omar Abdel Rahman, who is imprisoned in North Carolina. The Brigades attacked the International Red Cross office in Benghazi in August, and two month earlier, June 2012, detonated a bomb outside the Benghazi Consulate office where Ambassador Stevens was murdered on September 11th. That bombing was in retaliation for the death-by-drone of al-Qaeda's second-in-command, Abu Yahya al Libi (read it here at CNN, dated June 6, 2011). There was damage to glass on the front of the Consulate, but no injuries. Leaflets left at the bombing site...

The UK Independent article has been quoted many times concerning the news that the US had a 48-hour warning before the Cairo Embassy and Benghazi Consulate attacks, but little has been known about another 8 Americans wounded, some of them Military, or that the 30+ force of Libyan guards on the property abandoned it, for the most part. Also, news that the Consulate had just had a "security health check," by local sources, due to the coming day of 9/11, and apparently passed. A pressing question: how badly wounded are these 8 Americans. Other than emotional scars, will they bear...

  • Jarrett's Million Dollar Security Detail - Slumlord Protected by Taxpayers

    Maggie's Notebook ^ | 9-10-12 | Maggie@MaggiesNotebook
Valerie Jarrett, long known in some circles as the "other half of Barack's brain," and in other circles as a Chicago slumlord, has her own security detail. Jarrett's official title is "Senior Advisor to the President." Here's the point: The idea that someone such as Jarrett--who officially plays no role in national security or counter-terrorism--would receive USSS protection would be laughable if it weren’t, in fact, real. It’s like a tale out of the Versailles Court of the Sun King--the sort of anecdote that provokes the peasants, eventually, to revolution. But in the meantime, before the deluge, Jarrett plans to...
  • Elizabeth Warren: Undocumented Cherokee Only HLS Prof Not From Top 10 Law School

    Maggie's Notebook ^ | 9-10-12 | Maggie@MaggiesNotebook
Not only is Elizabeth Warren's claim of Native American blood in serious doubt (as in non-existence), so are her qualifications to teach at Harvard Law School (HLS). Warren, who is running for the Democrat Massachusetts US Senate seat now held by Republican Scott Brown, is the only - repeat - only HLS prof who DID NOT graduate from a top-ten law school. She graduated Rutgers, which reportedly ranks No. 82. By comparison, Scott Brown is an attorney, graduating with a J.D. from Boston College which ranks No. 29. The dean of HLS at the time, Robert Clark, said Affirmative Action...
  • Obama Long Close Connection to Bill Ayers Father: Obama Slogan 'Forward' - Marxist Communist Roots

    Maggie's Notebook ^ | 9-4-12 | Maggie@MaggiesNotebook
Remember Obama saying Domestic Terrorist, Weatherman Bill Ayers, was "just a guy in the neighborhood?" Even the most ardent Obama supporter can't swallow that almost four years after his reign began. They might ignore it, but they know it's a big "effing" deal, as the current Vice President of the United States might say. The following points to the incontrovertible truth that Obama's 2012 campaign slogan "Forward," is a Socialist, Marxist, Communist mantra used for at least, close to 100 years. A very close relationship between Bill Ayers' father, Tom Ayers to Obama mentor Frank Marshall Davis is revealed, with...
  • Carter Clinton Obama Legacy: They Did Build That - America Built the Panama Canal

Perhaps Jimmy Carter's most infamous act was signing the Panama Canal Treaties. The Panama Canal - We Did Build That - he gave it away to Panama with the stroke of the Presidential pen. Now, most of the ports on both sides of the Isthmus of Panama are owned by the People's Republic of China. A Chinese company manages the locks for the canal with 25% of them operated by the People's Liberation Army of China. For all of the Shah of Iran's shortcomings, Carter's lack of diplomacy brought down the Shah, an ally of the U.S. and a friend to...

New Mexico's Governor Susana Martinez delivered a WOW of a speech at the RNC. Republican women are awesome, and Martinez showed just how awesome. Republican women ROCK! Begin Transcript: "Thank you and good evening. On behalf of the great state of New Mexico, let me express my gratitude for being invited to speak tonight. Growing up, I never imagined a girl from a border town could one day become a governor. But this is America Y, en America todo es posible. • Romney Intro Video: Miss It? You Should See it No Hotdogging, No Greek Pillars, No Indonesia

The claims of Mitt Romney being unapproachable, stiff, doesn't care about people, a murderer, a job-snatcher, ridiculous. As hubby says, "if you have an emotional connection to Barack Obama, something's wrong with you," or as Clint Eastwood said while he was winding-up to the "Eastwooding" of Obama: "it's just that the conservative people, by the nature of the word itself, play it a little close to the vest...they don't go around hotdogging it.... (no Greek Temple, no smoke, no memories of Indonesia). I love his son saying "we felt like we were the most important thing in our Dad's life,"...

I don't have a lot of background on this depressing story, but will lead you to what I have. It seems the GOP is attempting to change the rules of how delegates work within the party, which includes allowing the presumptive presidential nominee to replace delegates elected by the states.  Three points are laid out: 1) Delegates will be bound to vote in proportion to the popular vote regardless of any other considerations. 2) The presumed nominee or his agents will be able to remove or replace delegates from state conventions at will. 3) The members of the RNC may,...
  • Sterilization for 15 Yr Olds Needs No Parental Consent Under ObamaCare - Effective 8-1-12

    Maggie's Notebook ^ | 8-27-12 | Maggie@MaggiesNotebook
This literally made me physically ill when I read this headline: Obamacare Begins Child Sterilization Without Parental Consent. According to the guidelines of ObamaCare, children as young as 15 years old can be sterilized at no cost, and with no parental consent. I assume this means both boys and girls. If a 15 year old wants to be sexually active, how attractive might sterilization be? No worries - forever, and who wants kids any way. I can see the 15-year-old brain processing it in a quick minute. I believe more 15 year olds, and even 16 and 17 year olds...
