I agree with you entirely. This lack of leadership by our “conservative leadership” is allowing for a divided vote. It just makes it clear that they are exactly like all politicians - sticking their finger in the wind trying to figure out which way it blows.
At least Haley was honest enough to let us all see exactly where she stands - closest to the deepest pockets.
Nah . . . in this one Rawl is right to question the whole situation - a guy who was dishonorably discharged from the military, never left his house to campaign, no one has ever heard of him, has mediocre (at best) public speaking abilities, currently has a public defender in his obscenity case because he couldn't afford to pay for legal representation yet somehow has 10K to pay to enter the race (and why on earth is there such a high price to pay to be in an election?!) . . . something is way off, something other than the Democrats being too lazy to vet their candidates.
On another note, how embarrassing is it to be Rawl and loose hands down to a non candidate. But it doesn't matter, DeMint should and is going to win. Now if we can just get Graham out.
It makes me sick that we gave away - with a heavily manipulated vote using our black citizens as the Judas goats - with the vote something that AQ was not capable of taking from us with violence. That something would be our freedom.
Unless the Supreme Court is willing to force Obama to reveal his birth certificate and hence reveal that he is not Constitutionally qualified to be President, I think Islam has won in the US and it’s all over for us.
They attacked because they know that once Bush is gone - and he has already bowed out - there’s nothing to fear from the US. Heck, Obama probably tipped them off. The guy hates us and all of our allies and wants to bring us down. I can’t imagine what is going to happen to this country or the rest of the world in the next year or so.
Prayers for you and your family, Maneesh. I have been following this all night because it is so horrible to see something like this happening to India, which is not only a friend to the US but a bright light in all that part of the world. I have met many Indians in the US and they are great immigrants, energetic and forward-looking.
I hope this does not just go - like virtually all other terrotist attacks - unavenged. The only thing that makes the Muslims back off is serious consequences to them. The US did that in Iraq, and we haven’t been attacked since then. I hope India has a better press and population than the US, though, because Bush received no support for his actions and the result is that we have the terrorists’ friend, Obama. So I really hope the Indian government does something about this.
But whatever happens, you have friends here in the US who are praying for you and your family.
It's absurd - I had been out with clients all day today and when I stopped into a grocery store on my way home I got the first whiff of the panic - by the time I was home this evening (Hanahan, SC) I had five different friends/coworkers call me to tell me to fill up because it was all going to be either 5.00 a gallon or unavailable. When I got home I asked my husband if he had heard about it and he said the news was filming the rush and not telling people to keep their heads about them - so now, at 8:00 the reports are on the local news that gas stations have run out of gas and have bumped the price up to 5.00 a gallon. All because of absurd panic and lemming mentality. I had a friend call to say she saw a fist fight at her local station. Too bad that I am at a quarter tank and need to hit the road again tomorrow - may make for a short day!
